Another shock (Edited)

In a daze, she stared at Jeff without blinking. "Jeff is right, you can't just talk to Amy the way you deem right." Jason's voice brought her back to reality.

Ashamed and a bit embarrassed, she looked at the ground only to feel gentle fingers tipping her chin up and sending delicious tingling feelings on her skin. She looked up to meet Jeff's soft eyes. "I've got you."

She blinked and averted her eyes. Why was everything happening today, so weird? She had blanked out only by Jeff's mere touch, Jeff had defended her against his aunt and here she was literally being consoled by Jeff?

"I am glad you two came to an agreement. May I now get your attention," grandpa said as everyone looked at him. "Kindly sit," he made an exaggeration of showing them the seats.

Amy found herself being led by Jeff to a love seat. She sat beside him as Jason took a single next to their seat and winked at her. She gave him a tiny smile as Grandpa took the seat at the furthest of the room while the three guests sat in the middle seats.

"Let's get over this unnecessary drama," the blonde said rudely.

Grandpa only scratched his chin with a smile although something in his smile looked spine-chilling. "Amy," he began making her sit alert at the mention of her name. "The reason why I called you here was." He pointed at the guests. "Is so that you could meet the William's full family." Her eyes ran over the two guests. Maybe they were the blonde's children, because from some point of view they almost shared some physical similarities with Jason and Jeff. "This woman here who can't keep her mouth shut is my daughter-in-law, Imelda." Daughter-in-law? Seriously, they tolerated that woman with that big mouth she had when she wasn't even their daughter by blood? But that wasn't the only surprise that was going to be slapped with that day.

"I wasn't going to allow a poor leech in our family," Imelda answered with arrogance as usual.

Amy rolled her eyes mentally as grandpa continued with his introduction, for a daughter-in-law, either she was confident or foolish, to be speaking that way to the family that she depended on. "This lady here is Jessica although she mostly uses the name Stormy, she's Jeff's cousin and Jason's baby sister." Her eyes widened. Jason's sister and Jeff's cousin? Weren't those two brothers, wait. "And this man here is Jason's cousin…" Amy inhaled sharply. "Jeff's brother, Jesse but he likes using Roy."

If she wasn't confused in the beginning, now she was. What was the relation of the four to the woman then? Wait, it couldn't be that she was Jason's mother, right? "So, Imelda….?"

Grandpa was grinning at her, as if her confusion was very amusing. "Imelda is their aunt. She was married to one of my sons, who died with Jeff's parents before she even had kids, so did Jason's parents. Well, I won't talk about that for now. But we split custody to give the kids a comfortable environment and since Jason and Jeff were close, I took them."

Okay, at least things were making sense. "Okay, so, Roy is Jeff's brother and not Jason?"

Jason was the one who answered. "If you put it that way. Yes, but Roy is older than Jeff by a year, but I am closer to Jeff than Roy."

"But I've never heard of them does the world even know they exist?" Truly, she never even knew of their existence, were they even in the country?

Roy spoke for the first time and his voice was light almost like Jason and carried the playfulness not entirely Jason's amount but a little bit of it. "Yeah, only as shadows, I am sure you know who are normally in the limelight." He gave Jeff a side eye. "I work as an engineer in Japan and you know, I use Roy so, nobody can relate me to the Williams as all our names have Js…"

Amy interrupted. "You work for Talia's motorcade?"

Roy smirked. "Yes, I do."

"Isn't it a shadow company of Rooney….?"

"Yes, it is," he folded his legs and leaned on his seat. "Yes, it is, because the family's wealth is spread, just as much as Stormy owns one of the biggest fashion houses; Storm. It is still a shadow company of Rooney's."
