5. Much needed strength on the way

After his day-long cultivation and rejuvenation of his dried-up dantians and meridians, Ace entered the most basic of cultivation realm, but not the least as it is a step every cultivator ever stood on at one point in their life: the martial apprentice realm.

Ace was happy.

He finally started his life dream of cultivating.

.

.

.

Since he now got the basics of cultivation down, he started reviewing the memories of the martial arts he had received.

But before he did it, he thought that since martial arts are ways to utilize your cultivation base and your body to use your potential strength with these techniques, he wanted to learn more about how the body and meridian/dantian system worked.

Luckily, he gained a lot of information about these types of things.

A normal person will have one dantian connected to 11 meridians which each consists of 8 acupoints. So everyone will have 88 acupoints.

These acupoints are parts of the meridian system where the qi can pass through.

Martial techniques of common to divine grade use a part of these acupoints to unleash their potential. So most of the time, the more acupoints a technique uses, the better.

As for immortal grade techniques like Ace has, they are techniques designed by the top immortals to use every single acupoint their body has.

That is why no divine technique, even the best one to ever exist, can compare to immortal techniques.

Now that Ace gained a basic understanding of his body as he has two dantians, 22 meridians and 176 acupoints, he looked forward to the future.

He got up and reviewed the martial techniques he gained.

"I will start with the sword technique as even I, with the amount of possession I have, have a wooden sword as it is the basic weapon of choice of almost everyone.

As for the spear, I'll find something later.

After reviewing the technique he started executing the basic moves that everyone knows.

The technique clearly declared that these moves exist for a reason as it is the foundation of every sword technique in existence.

Thrust, slash, pierce, etc.

He swung and swung until he collapsed in sweat on the ground panting like never before.

Ace knew that the lack of food is something that will bother him.

While the qi can act as a source of nourishment, it isn't all that omnipotent. Until a certain realm, cultivators will still need to eat and drink water.

But for now, it isn't really urgent. He will find food when he will leave this house.

Yes, as said above, he decided to leave his house and go on a journey to gain strength.

Ace knows that he has no future if he stays here, so he will leave and someday come back to take everything away from his father as vengeance for letting his mother die and abandoning his son.

.

.

It's been two weeks since he started training in the immortal sword technique.

Ace practiced the basics until he collapsed every day.

Since Qi couldn't fully sustain him for his extensive workout, he now almost looks as malnourished as he was before cultivating.

But his suffering wasn't without reward, as he now has a firm foundation to start training in the real techniques of this immortal martial art.

This immortal art consists of 5 techniques that stack up on each other as you learn them.

The speed technique: a lightning-fast attack,

The strength technique: add the strength of your body to your lightning-fast strike,

The illusion technique: allows you to mislead and confuse your enemies, catching them off-guard,

The long-distance technique: makes it possible to strike from a long distance by shooting a qi-attack,

and finally, the immortal technique: a combination of all combining the super speed, the inhuman strength that he will gain, the misleading of the illusion technique and finally allowing this overpowered attack to strike from a distance.

This immortal technique creates a near-omnipotent attack that lacks in no department.
