Little girl

Georgiana arranged her dress properly before sitting on the piano bench with a contented smile. She was overjoyed to play the piano for the king.

Theon took a light chair and sat on it, facing her with an encouraging smile that brought glow to her face.

She raised her hand above the keyboard and inhaled deeply, causing her chest to lift up before falling back in exhalation.

Her fingers softly descended the keys and she moved them lightly giving a cool sound of the alphabets.

She stole a shy glance at Theon and when she noticed he was staring back at her, she became slightly nervous.

"I've never played outside my home your majesty. Please bear with me if I play wrongly."

"You won't," came his swift and certain reply, it surprised her at the way he believed in her. She watched him for a bit longer before carefully pressing the right keys, her fingers moved like a professionalist and Theon felt amused at how she played.

It was rare to find a woman who could play the piano, more so play well.

As she played, her lips parted and she sang something to herself while increasing her pace skillfully. Slowly she became engrossed, forgetting everything around her except the piano before her.

Her smile stretched and she closed her eyes briefly before opening them again, it was a sign that she enjoyed what she was doing.

Theon watched her every reaction, it was pure and genuine. The music she played filled his ears and he closed his eyes and let the music speak to him.

He hummed in satisfaction and a smile lit his face. The sound he made brought Georgiana back to reality but she didn't stop playing.

Her eyes watched him and soon she was in a daze, her eyes fluttered slowly as she played. Her heart was melting at the sight of the godly being before her.

She wanted to touch his face badly, but that would be impossible. Her eyes slowly drifted down to his luscious pink lips, her mind went on daydreaming as she watched him with longing.

He had a relaxed look, like he was sleeping. Very calm and charming at the same time.

In his mind, he tried visualizing a future with Georgiana; he saw them both dancing and smiling lovingly at each other to the very same sound she played.

Slowly he leaned forward and caught her lips in his, sucking her lower lip while she took his upper lip between her lips as well. It was an affectionate kiss, one with deep emotions.

He wound his hand round her waist and nudged her close to him, increasing the pace and deepening the kiss. It felt so right and natural.

But she stopped, and when he pulled back to stare at her he stilled when he noticed it wasn't her anymore.

It was Gladys...

Theon's eyes opened only to catch Georgiana staring at him in a daze. Her eyes widened and she missed the keys out of embarrassment.

She tore her gaze off him immediately, her cheeks burned bright red in shame.

"You did great Georgiana."

He praised her and she lifted her eyes to see him still staring at her with a tender smile.

"Th-Thank you my lord."

She couldn't believe he eliminated the 'lady' from her name. He called her name casually as if they knew each other very well.

He stood up with a wide grin and offered her his hand to take, she stared at his hand briefly before taking it. She couldn't look him in the eye again because she knew he understood the emotion she showed previously.

"Look at me Georgiana," his tender voice filled her ears and she gulped before slowly lifting her gaze to look at him.

Her eye met his dark blue ones which had a glimmer in them. He still had that charming smile capable of making her want to cry at his extraordinary looks.

"You have beautiful eyes."

Her heart skipped and she held her breath in surprise at what he said. His eyes were seriously staring into hers, unwaveringly.

"Your smile is like the sunshine, it brightens one's heart and give them renewed hope."

Her eyes glittered with tears at his words, no man had ever said such to her, not even her father.

"You'll be a lovely Queen lady Georgiana, a notable one at that." She stilled and her eyes widened in astonishment, her lips parted.

"But the stress will be too much for you to handle, you're too sweet and lovely...you playing that piano is awe-inspiring. I've heard a lot of music but yours...I can't describe how it makes me feel."

Georgiana was getting a bit confused when he said 'the stress will be too much for you to handle'...

As if reading her thought, he spoke up while carefully pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Some things are not meant to be my fair lady, you have a bright future ahead of you and that's not by standing beside me. You're a born pianist lady Georgiana."

Her gaze lowered and she bit her lower lip in disappointment but he slipped his index finger beneath her chin and lifted her face gently back up to stare at him.

"It wouldn't be right if I give you high hopes and later shatter it, I don't want to break your heart Georgiana...please try to understand."

Georgiana gave him a forced smile and nodded but it was not convincing.

"Talk to me Georgiana, how are you feeling?"

He probed, having a concerned and serous look on his face. She lowered her gaze again and bit her lower lip hard. A tear escaped her right eye and she blinked rapidly and wanted to wipe the tear off but he stopped her by wrapping his strong arms round her, engulfing her in a comforting embrace.

She buried her face in his chest and the tears poured out uncontrollably.

"I-I'm s-sorry my lord...I'm...I'm just a little heartbroken." She stuttered between soft sobs and he rubbed her back sadly. He could clearly understand how she felt.

"I'm sorry Georgiana, forgive me for breaking your heart."

He apologized and kissed the top of her hair before resting his chin softly there.

At least he was grateful she understood.

He purposely drove her back home after their heart felt conversation. They spoke freely with each other throughout the ride and he was glad she was fine, even though he knew she was trying.

The carriage stopped and the coachman opened the door for them. Theon stepped out first before offering his hand for her to take. She took it with a grateful smile before stepping out.

"Thank you very much your majesty, for being a wonderful man."

"The pleasure's all mine Georgiana, please call me Theon when we're together."

She nodded and gave him a sly smile which made him chuckle.

He watched her walk up to her doorstep, Making sure she entered her home safely. She turned and waved at him before entering her home.

But Theon stood there for a while longer, deep in thought. Out of nowhere someone bumped into him harshly, causing him to move.

The person who bumped into him fell backward, falling on the bottom.

"Why did you hafta stand there!"

Theon's left eyebrow quirk up in amaze at how the little girl lashed out at him. She struggled to her feet and glared hard at him.

"You can't even apologize...what a rude man you are."

The girl rambled on in anger, making the coachman fear for her, he wanted to drag her away but Theon stopped him.

He watched as the girl dust her fine yellow dress, he could tell she was from a rich family.

"What's your name young lady?"

He asked politely and she stopped what she was doing and narrowed her eyes at him.

He couldn't blame her for not knowing he was the king, he didn't use his fancy carriage rather he used a normal one in order not to draw attention to himself.

"Why should I tell you?" She questioned back with a serious and curious gaze.

"You seem lost, did you run away from home?"

"I wouldn't dare," she quickly said and he chuckled.

"Let me give you a lift, you're too small to be running round."

"Am not small!"

She protested and Theon laughed because of how she pouted her lips cutely.

"What age are you?" He inquired while staring at her with fascination.

"Age one and zero," she sang and wanted to walk away but he stopped her.

"You're still small young lady, who are your parents?"

She sighed wondering why she had to answer the man's questions, it exhausted her.

"Mr and Mrs Weisly."

"Weisly you say?"

He narrowed his eyes at her when it dawned on him who her parents were. He had forgotten they had a little girl until now.

"Come on now, let me take you home."

She glared at him in suspicion before quietly walking away with a harrumph.

What a stubborn and rude child, thought the silent coachman to himself. He felt like slapping her senseless for being disrespectful to the king.

"Good luck then, I'll be sure to tell your parents I saw you running around...why were you even running?"

The girl stopped in her tracks and twirled round in anger.

"Why can't you mind your own business mister!"

For a small girl, she sure was fierce and smart.

"If I wanted to kidnap you I would've done that a long time sweetheart, so its either I take you home safely or I'll report you to your parents."
