Aegefon stood watching the madness that his people created about after the news he'd given. The reaction and effect were currently what he was watching.

"Damn you Erizos" he could only help but mutter.

While the reaction was something expected it didn't reduce the headache he was feeling. Some of the people were ecstatic to finally have a god on their side. Others felt less as they didn't believe in any god while the smarter ones knew what all these would entail.

This were the ones causing more issues as tbe had one problem. The war was certain to come for them with all this.

"We'll be killed "

"They'll do something worse to us"

"He's one god. What could he do against a group of other gods".

"We're gonna die".

" Chief please reconsider"

Aegefon scratched his bald head a habit he was now getting thanks to a certain person. Raising a hand he quieted the rampaging crowd. Barely. Then after looking around with a sigh he spoke.

"It's been almost a hundred years since the First Shattering, only a few of us remember that long and brutal arduous war. No pain right now could have topped such an event."

"We fought, we stood our ground, we hoped and prayed and we died, spilling our blood to grasp a future for our kind. But our prayers went unanswered, our blood soaked the earth for nothing, beaten into submission and slavery we were.

We thought we could do something about our predicament back them, we revolted and fought again. But you all know the penance we got."

He pointed to his face with a smile.

"A crude symbol to show their dominance over us. A curse to put us down. Ask yourselves this. Why would the other races try to cut us down, and then keep us down for so many years? Why?"

There was silence amongst the throngs of people gathered with only a few knowing the reason.

"Because they fear us, they fear what we could become, this scar was given to act as a mark amongst us. Something to put pressure on and make us believe we amount to nothing. A fight lost mentally is a fight lost physically" He stopped to catch his breath disguising the act with a glance through the crowd.

"But they forgot one thing., We humans always rise with hope, I know many of you fear the consequences of our actions. but I ask what consequences". His words brought frowns to most faces.

" We die?"

"We're already dying. The food here is barely enough, and hunger and strife amongst ourselves. Monster and attacks. Each year we lose more people than. we conceive them. At the rate, the other races don't need to do anything about us".

Most in the crowds who knew this fact kept silent in agreement others just frowned not liking either option.

"We can either fight to rise or silently die off like some animals within the forest."

"I didn't want this god's help either. He'll I was ready to leave his ass with my broad sword and get a warrior's death. But, his proposition is good for us." Aegefon smiled a sad smile.

" So do we trust this new God"

"Does he think we can believe him just cause he graced us with his presence"

"He could be in cahoots with the other gods. Draw us out and abandon us to be wiped off,"

"All gods are the same. Egoistical and proud beings just cause they're powerful"

"I'd agree on that too" a powerful young voice boomed throughout the courtyard gathering.

Everyone turned to see a young man in a white flowing coat, a white shirt underneath, and white pants. Even his boots were white. In his left hand, he held a little plate that was flat and normal. His blue eyes looked over everyone before stopping at the one who had made the last comment"

slowly he walked through the mass as tbe parted.

No one knew why but they felt a need tk now their necks at his presence. His body towered over most a fact he was now realizing after now hanging around many people.

He stood at least 7ft tall if not more. The tallest human there stopped right next to his biceps. He raised an eyebrow on noticing this detail while still walking towards the woman who had spoken.

Then he halted right in front of her. The crowd watched tight-lipped, Aegefon wondered what to do as he hoped the God wasn't feeling insulted or something.

Totally against everyone's expectations he ignored the woman and knelt on one knee to the height of the little girl by her side who clasped even tighter onto her mother's hand while backing away quietly.

Without a word, Erizos stretched out the plate he held and offered it to the girl.

Murmurs rose from the crowd wondering what was on about. The little girl stared at the plate then at him then back at the plate. Unsure what to do.

Watching her he spoke out loud for everyone to hear.

"I do not have the time to talk or sweeten things for you all. " With that, he smiled softly at the little girl who stared back at him like he had three heads. While in a daze his hand grasped hers and placed it atop the plate.

A light shone from it that engulfed her, the woman let out a screech as she rushed to grab her child only to find her legs held firm by the earth beneath her feet. Erizo barely spared her a glance as he read through the notifications in his mind and eye before setting it as he pleased.

The light dimmed and the girl was revealed. A gasp ran through the crowd as they stared at the little girl. Her once black hair was now gold her eyes gold as well. Behind her, two white wings stretched out.

Her mouth was open as she stared at them feeling them and them flapping and taking off into the sky. He grasped her leg quickly pulling her down before holding her firm and turning to tbe crowd shifting to display the girl.

The gods have wronged you, and still, have till now, you can either wait to die off or cease to exist in this world. Or you can forge yourselves from the flames of the war that you all survived. The gods didn't answer I assure you that I will answer. Not because I'm benevolent, but because... I was human."

'I said it. It was the only way, who more to believe in than a god that knew their plight? Saying I was human already announced that I wasn't always a god which meant I couldn't have been around when their wars were fought. Now though I was here and as a human it was a sure thing that i would help my former race. That's definitely what they all would think.'Erizos couldn't help but applaud himself while the other him just watched.

Fortunately many were thinking exactly this as even Aegefon got a look of understanding. To him, it suddenly made sense why the God was so eager to aid. After all, they were his race, right?

Murmurs rose from the crowd as many discussed the new information given. While many opinions flew Erizos knew it had worked either way, while most still were fearful of a war something he didn't hold against them. They still looked on with hope.

Yet again his plans changed. It seemed to always be changing. Within his head another him if it had arms and legs would have been waving to the skies in exasperation at having to keep up with all the different changes.

It had changed while he hovered over them and listened to their murmurs and now it changed again after seeing the hope and need in their eyes.

[With The Amount Of Divinity You Could Get From The Territories Within This Desolation Of Anges. Your Thought Could Be Possible.]

'You're actually agreeing with me on this

[Besides I'm In Your Head. If You Do Decide To Do This Without My Agreement What Can I Do? Bawl All Day]

'Then let's do this. Map out the area all within the desolation. '

Before I could add anything else, Aegefon was in front of me and already down on his knees.

"I suspected and still doubted up to now. But now. Please. Help not just Ranak but all humans" Aegefon begged his hands clasped as he made a bow.

'Oh. Still, those options are bland. I have something better

"Aegefon. I already came here to answer that prayer. Even if you refused me I'd just find my way of helping " a smile adorned his lips with the words a hand grasping the old man by the arm to help him up.

[My Options Were Bland. You Sounded Like A Poor Attempt At Acting Royal]The voice sassed obviously pissed.

Erizos could feel his left eye twitching. 'Goddamned inner him' he thought

"This will help in many ways," he spoke looking around at everyone before he stepped back and threw up the plate he held in hand.

Aegefon looked up confused before he felt the ground shudder beneath him and then the earth creak and crack as a cylindrical beam shot up to waist high and then halted. The plate slammed back on its flat top and the beam shook a bit but still standing.

The plate dug itself into the center of the beam before settling then glowing up a bit as the beam repaired itself the cracks stitching right back up.
