48 - Life and Anti-life

[MAJOR ANTI-LIFE FRAGMENT DETECTED]

The text kept flashing in Dumdriel's vision blocking him from accurately seeing the huge thing that had its form twisted around him. While silent he was not as calm as Beleza but he was always stable minded like a mountain unmoved.

Without hesitation, he created an earth spear ramming it straight into the massive thing. A screech next to his ears had him wincing but not losing focus he used his left arm to grip onto it. Claws sunk into cold and slimy flesh as he gripped then pulled back ripping the thing off him and flinging it away.

Staggering back his divinity keeping afloat he locked his eyes on the thing and grimaced. Ugliness took a form to meet him. The think had a head with lips that's stretched from ear to ear like a Cheshire, it was eyeless with a round balding head. Two arms extended out of a wraith like upper body. while it's lower body was nothing but a long mermaid like limb with the ending forming a point, from the waist to the tip was as long as sixteen feet.

On it's skin rows of slimy flesh hung off it showcasing an empty void interior. That was what they were empty and nothing. Stealing life from anything and everything around to fill the chasm that they were pulled from.

Dumdriel growled hunching over as he created various earth rocks and spears around him while he locked his eyes on the creature in front of him.

The Major fragment itself simply hovered there floating while it cocked it's head left and right eeriely. Dumdriel stared at it in disgust as it finally stopped moving and positioned its head racing away from Dumdriel. Ot was almost like it had locked eyes on something.

Though it didn't have eyes or ears or any sensory organ it still felt like it was seeing. Dumdriel growled as he followed the supposed gaze of the Major fragment to the distance where the only light in their surroundings shone brighter than any.

They were so far off from Dustroz at this point having spent who knows how long battling and pushing the waves back. Their strength had for some reason kept increasing as the fought and slaughtered their way though the pack of fragments. A little fact that Erizo had failed to note.

Their divinity constantly processing the anti-life slain to convert to energy that increased their latent abilities. So while the fought and killed the got divine boost from the converted anti-life, Erizo in turn gaining a part from all eight of them.

Their strength while growing didn't affect the mental exhaustion they got from all the fighting as the pushed and now they were tired and far away from the blue sun. All around the only light was their divine glow, a glow that while bright in their own way was no where near that of Tepes and Syrin.

Even amongst them both there was Tepes who's hands were aflame and gave his red fur a glow that made him look like a flame in the dark. Yet next to Syrin he was a candle by the fire. One red one white, one small and one dazzling. The white fur didn't help matters either.

It was to this white radiance that the creature had locked it's intent on.

Dumdriel uttered a roar pouncing forward to the Major fragment while his earth rocks simultaneously hurled at it. The things head whipped back instantly to face the onslaught coming at it.

Feeling the heat of the threat within the Azkolve's roar it responded with an equally terrifying screech. One that carried all its pain and need, its desire for life as the one thing it cherished but could never get raced to it.

Then it bounded forward, its whip like lower body lashing the space behind it and granting it momentum to push forward while it's clawed arms extended out to the Azkolve. Like a swimmer in a dark murky pool it raced over the rocks and dodged the stones hurtling at it.

Clambering with a terrific speed up a boulder that was aimed to crush it, the Major fragment spread out its stretched lips exposing the various serrated and disarranged fangs before screeching once more down to the Azkolve below it.

Dumdriel below eyed the Manor fragment that was already diving off the boulder he had sent at it. The screech racing pass his leaned back ears, his body hunched forward on nothing as he ranges bared and as his claws shone with the golden light of his divinity. He pounced up uttering a roar that reverberated around and to the other Azkolves.

Within the dark space of nothing where life and was scant and nothing could thrive yet. Two forms clashed in a primordial battle that had gone on in other multiverses for longer than this Neasts or the God who made them could realize.

The space cracked and a huge slab of earth formed just beneath them as both creatures rammed into each other.

The die was cast. Anti-life and life battling for supremacy and ironically for the same thing. One to end the stealer of life and preserve life the other to steal life for itself and make it something like it something twisted after it had filled the chasm that was its body.

Dumdriel's jaws snapped down on tbe thing's head tugging fiercely and ripping as the both slammed down onto the wide slab of earth he had made for this very battle. Without a pause he spun on his hinged feet and tossed the thing onto the ground in the distance.

On all fours he succumbed to his evolved predator instincts conjuring slabs of earth and boulders around him while jutting out spikes dripping with divinity around him.

"Hunt domain" he growled. The ding in his head was ignored as the innate ability activated.

[HUNT DOMAIN]

Everything intensified. If before be could hear and see well now everything within the domain could.not escape him. His eyes saw all his ears heard everything from the little fluctuations the lower body of the Major fragment created to the slight wobblimg of flesh on its skin as it dashed to him.

[EARTH BURST]

Cause an earth explosion releasing debris and stones everywhere. Chances of stunning, harming, and knocking out the enemy with less chances of a critical hit.

RANK - WHITE E

The spell caused an explosion beneath the Major fragment disorienting it as it cried out in a screech while Dumdriel pounced forward not letting up on the chance. As a past wolf and hunter he knew not to let opportunities such as this go to waste l, besides this was why he had caused such an attack.

He was upon the thing in seconds his divine infused claws tearing amd taming through its slimy flesh as he gave various critical wounds. A slash to the face, one to the chest that just peeled up.more flesh and another to.thr lower appendage that helped it move. The screeched resounded as the skin bubbled like hot froth where the divine energy touched.

The Major wasn't going to just stand and be beaten though. Without any warning it spun and grabbing the floor its appendage whipped Dumdriel away. The Azkolve was flung far off his back crashing and quaking the ground he had created for this fight before he rolled wmd finally halted at the edge of the slab.

His eyes went to his chest where the whip like lower body had struck and he grimaced at the pain he felt there. It was strong, one hit enough to crack his ribs. This was saying a lot about the Major fragment. While the lesser fragments were a walk through the park their bodies only serving as fodder this Major was the real deal.

Rising he felt something flow up his throat and with a choke liquid burst out his mouth. Even in the dark his golden eyes helped him see what ot was that stained his hands. Scarlet liquid.

Far to the distance where the other Azkolves still fought the crowd of fragments Tepes and Tarim had half their attentions on the fight going on while their other focus was on the fight between the first of them and the wierd entity. . This was why both could note the new development on hand.

Even Syrin who had stayed at the rear supporting the continuous onslaught noted this too. A slight worry creasing her features as she stared to the fight continuing in the distance.

A boom sounded out from there accompanied by a screech and roar. On two sides of a maddening field Tepes and Tarin's gazed somehow found each other. Both resting the thoughts on the other's mind nodded.

The reaction was instant, Tarin eacomg through the space into the center of the conflict while Tepes abandoning his position. raced for the slab where an Azkolve and a Major Fragment duked it out.
