138 - Noire - A gift of Creation.

It was night on this part of Merrenok. The bright light of Duztros was shielded from one side by the ever-rotating world. The dark side was pitch black with no light at all.

It was here that Erizos and Noctis floated. One a four-eyed still growing behemoth his golden, white and black hair fluttering in the nonexistent wind. Mists of Ogor shooting out both their nostrils and joining the other energies in the Cosmos.

Noctis had a very delightful expression on his face. Why wouldn't he when he'd been given a good gift.

A little bit of what made All-father powerful. While not as much it was enough for the one thing he wished to make.

Erizos was stunned as he watched Noctis weave his divinity. The creation energy he had been granted floated out to jam various ores and stars together.

He watched as even Davstung and Emperia Oz were weaved into the design. Then slowly he noted the object cooling at a fast rate. He watched as Noctis pulled out a piece of divinity from within him and meld it into the cooling object.

A wisp of dark and black ethereal smoke surrounded the object as it cooled at a terrific pace.

Then the darkness dispersed absorbed into the now cold and pale rock.

"You made a moon.?" He asked in confusion.

When giving your kid the power to do something a lot of personal things were expected but not this. Why even make a moon when ...

'Oh. Oh'

Erizos looked over to Dustroz and frowned as he realized a very obvious mistake he had made.

"The sun empowers Velces as much as he empowers it". With Noctis being the god of Darkness he too needed something like a Dustroz to empower him and empower.

"I didn't realize," he muttered gaining Noctis' attention. He noted the gleam of black within the elf's eyes increase as he smiled.

"You couldn't have known". The elf shrugged.

"Very well. This gift doesn't count. " The elf turned surprised.

" This is something I should have realized, you doing this is just making something I would and should have made earlier. Plus Merrenok does need a moon. Total darkness isn't exactly cute. Now with you having a symbol to look up to your followers would be more faithful. " he explained.

The elf just accepted without a fuss.

"Now come let's give you your gift".

His words barely finished his consciousness flickered a bit before he found himself seeing two sights.

DIVINITY - 100/M(No time discrepancy included )

Stepping onto tbe ground in a continent on Merrenok Erizos looked around him before sending out his divine sense to wash over Noctis.

A few seconds later the god's avatar stood by the divine projection of his father.

"Your last gift. Is a choice".

Erizos waved his palm like a screen was before him and sure enough, a golden panel like a selection box rowed out horizontally in front of Noctis.

"You can only choose one. The rest have their time to be put in the world. But as a gift, I'll let you have your first race before others since I did you dirty. "

The Elf gave his father one look before shrugging and stepping closer to the row of selections.

Noctis looked everything over for the hundredth time. He was stumped, really stumped on which race to pick. His father had long gone bored while telling him that he would return the moment he chose and for him to take his time.

He'd even added incentive and given Noctis the chance to design or add things to the current races as he saw fit till one was good enough for him.

An hour had passed.

He still hadn't decided.

The air shimmered before him as a bored and exasperated Erizos looked at him with aggrieved eyes.

"Have you chosen. " his voice sounded pleading. Noctis sighed before making up his mind. While he would have taken all if he had the choice he knew that this was a boon due to the moon issue.

So he picked.

Erizos stared at the prompt as it appeared in his face blinking rapidly. Bending out to the side he glanced at Noctis and then back to the screen. Then back to Noctis again and back to the screen.

"You're sure.?" He asked an eyebrow raised as his eyes all scanned the screen again.

"Yes," Noctis replied without hesitation. Erizos stared at him for a moment before shrugging.

"You chose". His hand raised obviously to click on tbe create option before he paused and looked at the race again.

"Good choice if I say so myself". he muttered before clicking the create button.

'I expected him to take the Lycans but man is this better. They'll have to find food soon and that'll help spread them. Couldn't have chosen better' he nodded.

Unlike the other creations, this one popped out into Erizos hands as a batch containing only three seeds.

The seeds he handed over to Noctis and had him fill with divinity while Erizos watched.

Once it was done both men watched as the seeds stretched out and enlarged floating in the air. By the time they got to nine feet in height Noctis had stopped feeding them divinity.

"They'll be popping out now. Guide them as best you can. They're your race now". Erizos vanished the moment he said the last word. Just in time as the first egg cracked a line running down its center from top to down.

Then an arm shot out breaking through the egg. The rest of the egg shattered after this dumping both the creation and the amniotic fluids unto the soil.

Noctis would lie if he said he wasn't excited. He was always bored and detached from things. But he'd always loved watching his father create things.

Now though he had helped to make something else too.

As the creation stirred he smiled and watched waiting for it to awaken. It coughed once, then twice before its eyes shot open. The deep blood red met his as a chill that he didn't feel spread into the night.

"Wow!".
