In the hospital, Ring ring… 'Why is Dr. Henry calling me again,' thought Gianna as she answered the call. "Gianna, go to Dr. Kate's office immediately. Also, there are a few boxes related to the department, left behind by Jason. Send someone to collect it from my office." "Why does Dr. Kate want to meet me, chief?" asked Gianna in confusion. "It's nothing! Chairman is backing you up, so don't worry about anything and be yourself!" said Dr. Henry and hung up the call. "Huh?"

Gianna opened the texting app and texted Ralph, 'Go with John, Stanley, and Liam to collect a few boxes from the Chief's office and place it in my room.' Gianna soon walked out to meet the CMO, still wondering what Dr. Kate wanted to talk with her.

Knock knock… "Come in," invited a sweet voice. Gianna entered the room and saw Kristen staring right back at her with hatred written all over her face. Gianna ignored her and greeted Dr. Kate with a smile, "Good afternoon, Dr. Kate!" Dr. Kate smiled and said, "Congratulations on becoming the youngest senior attending physician!" "Thank you, Dr. Kate."

"What?!" exclaimed Kristen from the side with widened eyes. "Didn't you hear about her promotion, Kristen?" asked Dr. Kate with a smirk. "How is that possible?" "It's possible because she is capable!" responded Dr. Kate.

She then looked at Dr. Gianna with a smile and said, "I called you over because the incident that occurred last week in the ER, was brought to our attention. I had already heard Kristen's explanation, so I would like to hear yours now." Gianna nodded and explained in detail what had occurred in the ER. "How is your injury?" asked Dr. Kate with concern. "I am fine now, Dr. Kate!"

Dr. Kate looked at Kristen and said, "I had also enquired about the incident to a few witnesses, and it completely matches Gianna's explanation. So, what step should I take, Dr. Kristen?" Kristen refuted the claim and blamed Gianna. Dr. Kate smirked and asked, "Kristen, are you aware of the fact that there are CCTVs installed in every corner of this hospital?" Kristen was caught red-handed, and she started to regret her actions.

Kristen looked at Gianna and cursed her in her thoughts. "Chairman wanted to pass a message to you. 'Tell your father that this is a hospital and not his political playground', said Dr. Kate with a smirk.

Kristen started to sweat and said, "I have no idea about this, Dr. Kate. I just had a casual conversation with my father. I didn't know he would do such a thing." Dr. Kate ignored her and asked, "Do you want to file a complaint, Gianna?" "I don't have time for that, Dr. Kate. Also, I have no objection if the management wishes to take action against Dr. Kristen." "Okay. Both of you can leave." Gianna smiled and left the office.

Kristen quickly followed Gianna. "How dare you treat me like this, Gianna?" shouted Kristen in the lobby. The commotion gained the attention of all the people present in the lobby. Gianna stopped in her tracks but didn't turn around. "Do you think I am a joke? Do you know who my father is?" asked Kristen in a raised voice, standing in front of Gianna. Gianna chuckled and said, "I don't know who your father is, but I am sure he is of no importance."

"You crazy witch!" screamed Kristen and lounged forward to hit Gianna. Gianna moved casually to the side to avoid her attack, and Kristen fell face down on the floor with a heavy thud. Gianna didn't care and walked away as if nothing had happened. All the onlookers started to laugh at Kristen, and she ran outside the hospital as she couldn't bear the embarrassment.

In the Ellerbrock mansion, "Old master, Mr. Gilbert had sent you an email regarding the project from the Silver Crest Hospital. I went through the mail, and the great news is the project is led, by none other than Dr. Gianna," informed Noah with a smile. "She never stops to amaze me!" exclaimed Mr. Ellerbrock with a bright smile.

"Tell them to fund the project immediately, and no one should interfere with her decisions." Noah nodded and left the study room. "Wouldn't your child be so talented if you had one?" asked Mr. Ellerbrock as he looked at an old photo of a young woman.

The hospital was on fire with multiple gossip, and everyone actively took part in spreading the gossip fire. "Did that Dr. Devil try to harm you again, G?" asked Alexi. "Do you think anyone can harm me, Alexi?" "No, but-" "There are no buts and ifs. Take rest and focus on your therapy." Gianna patted his shoulder and left the ward. The team entered the department room and took their respective seats. "Start the briefing, Victor," said Gianna as she leaned on the chair. Victor finished the briefing, and Gianna signaled Tom to do the next briefing.

"There is no team A and B from now on. So, I want everyone to be familiar with all the patients and their conditions." "Yes, Dr. G," said the team in unison. "Good. Stanley, order dinner for the whole department, and this is the list," said Gianna as she passed a paper and her credit card. "Call me when the food is here." "Woah!! Is Dr. G rich? Look at the platinum credit card!" exclaimed Liam. Victor chuckled and said, "I don't know how rich she is, but she does have a big heart!" The team laughed, and Stanley started to order from an online food app.

Gianna sent a message to the department group saying, "All have done good work today, so the dinner is on me!" Within seconds the group exploded with cheers and thank you messages from everyone in the department. Gianna sat on her chair and looked at a number saved as 'Annoying Jerk'.

"Should I call him? What if he had blocked me? It would be a great embarrassment in my life! But what about his wounds? Arrrggghhh! Whatever! He is just a passing breeze in my life. Stop thinking about him, Gianna! PASSING BREEZE AND NOTHING ELSE!" mumbled Gianna as she tightened her grip on the armrest.
