EVERYONE gathered in the room when Dr. Moretti finished his diagnosis with Shari. He was a young Filipino-Italian doctor based in Naples, working directly under Hyrum for his international operations. The doctor tucked his stethoscope after checking Shari's blood pressure.

"Is my sister all right?" Sage asked worriedly.

"It's better if she could visit in the hospital. There's nothing wrong with her but based on the symptoms. I think she might be… pregnant."

"What did you say?!" Shari gaped at the doctor. She never once thought she'd get pregnant after the kidnapping incident. Her period had always been irregular, so it wasn't a big deal if she missed her menstrual cycle for a few months. However, it could be possible. It had been three months.

The doctor gave her two pregnancy test kits. "Here, have yourself tested to be sure. I had the same case with one of my patients, so I have those."
