Chapter 17- Taking part in the events

The previous year was ridiculous. All this time of nothing happening and all of a sudden everything goes off in fireworks.

So many things happened at once.

Richard 'Dick' Grayson AKA Robin was taken in by Bruce who somehow thought the best way to get a grieving child up and about again is to get him vengeance and train him to beat up those who would cause simular cases.

He was an acrobat alongside his family and due to the machinations of one Tony Zucco his parents, siblings, cousins and aunt died leaving behind only him and his uncle who got paralyzed.

Richard is a cool guy by the way and my first proper friend in this world. He was quite gloomy at first and talked only to Bruce and rarely to Alfred in the beginning. It got even worse when even with the Wayne fortune there was no way to heal his uncle.

Though when I was given permission by him and his uncle, Richard 'Rick' Grayson, I manged to fix him up with the help of my trustee Baymax who helped by supervising the project. After his uncle was able to walk again he became much more cheerful and readily made friends with me.

In a medical bed of the Batcave lay an unconscious man face down on the bed.

Standing over him with the man's spine in his hands stood a young boy not even in his teens.

The spine was encased in a glass like jelly that kept it sperate from the atmosphere.

While observing the spine and the cracks and indents along with ruptured nerves the boy spoke to the other inhabitant in the room.

"It is not really necessary for the patient to be awake but it helps as any patient will probably have a heart attack after seeing his innards on the outside."

'BOOSTER SHOT'

The cracked spine reconnected and using TAKT alongside BOOSTER SHOT he healed and connected the ruptured arteries.

After that he put back the spine in the unconscious man's back and applied BOOSTER SHOT again.

The man's back was whole again without a trace of scars or any indication of surgery.

"How much time till he can move and walk again?" asked a gruff voice.

The voice came from a tall man covered in dark attire of a bat.

"As soon as he wakes he will be able to move, no sequelae will follow my treatment and also I made sure there are no further complications.

"In fact with this operation I have finally confirmed a bit about my powers and should soon be able to enhance even the human body beyond its normal limits without complications to the body or mind."

The Batman scowled at the boy under his cowl .

"How will that be accomplished exactly?"

The boy, Nicholas, answered,"Well, basically since our birth over time our body continuously collects waste material and not all of it is disposed. What I can do is through my power I will seperate and extract these impurities and then the body will naturally grow stronger."

"You mean like with the chinese martial art knowledge."

"Yes, exactly like that. I have already tried this on a few rats. While the increment in strength is not sudden but rather gradual it matches very well with you."

"I.....will see."

Yes. That happened. I convinced Batman under go what call the body cleansing surgery. Though it hasn't happened yet as both of us are waiting for me to get better and also first try with other animals before human trials.

Aslo Baymax is a success. The V.I was successfully integrated to the system and can properly control the robot to perform anything short of surgery.

I have yet to introduce it to the market but it will surely be a hit.

After this Dick really opened up to me and I finally found someone to converse to.

Other than this The Justice League had to go official due to the Joker finding the headquarters at Mt.Justice. So far the heroes hadn't announced the creation of the team and kept in under wraps for security measures bur Joker quite literally blew up those plans and the Justice League was exposed.

The Justice League then builds the Hall of Justice in Washington D.C but I know that they are actually building a satellite headquarters which will come to be known as the Watchtower. Now this is something I want part in so I slipped nanites into Batman's costume using SCRAMBLES between the nanites and pieces of dirt.

In the current Justice League the only one who is likely to be able to notice these is Superman.

With Arya's help I subtly entered the system and opened a backdoor for my self through which I can see majority of League files.

I was able to subtly access the files due me adding nanites during its creation so I have yet to infiltrate the Batcomputer and its files.

Using my powers I have hacked my body and found my DNA too complex for my exploration. My DNA seems human no matter how I look at it but my powers also tell me it is not completely human.

During all this time I was wondering about the timeline. I don't remember much about he show. I had watched just the first and second season long ago and didn't even see the third and fourth season except for some clips on YouTube.

All I remember I that the main antagonist is a group known as The Light and that they are led by Vandal Saavage and Lex Luthor.

Also something about an alien invasion that will happen and then one of the speedsters die. Either the future one of the yellow spandex one.

This year is also the time I have come to a decision- I want to be a hero. 'Yes, very unexpected' in sarcasm but I was truly getting a bit bored and I want to be a part of this world and aslo influence major events and carve my own life in this world and one of the best way is that of a hero.

I already have the resources and connections to the Justice League so little chance for conflict there and my powers are a very valuable asset to anybody.

So I decided to train to fight and asked Batman to teach me alongside Robin.

He surprisingly agreed to my request, probably as a sparring partner for Robin. Still it benefited me greatly and I finally learnt a bit on ahow to fight properly and not just throw some random punches.

Various new heroes have started taking up mantles and are claiming their cities to protect.

Captain Marvel in Fawcett City. Black Canary to help Green Arrow in Star City. Another Green Lantern who is not really in a fixed city. Captain Atom who didn't have a fixed city and Zatara a user of magic.

These heroes were reviewed and later selected by the Justice League to add to the ranks.

It was the official beginning of the Age of Heroes.
