Reconcilation

The next instant, Edgar felt the horror run through his body at his grandpa's glaring eyes. All of his embarrassments and sadness from earlier was replaced by unadulterated fear.

He couldn't think straight, and with nothing but his instincts to rely on, the first thing he did was to sprint off with a squeal.

His danger radar was flashing brightly, and he knew that if caught, he wouldn't make it out alive.

"You, brat! Where are you running off to? Let me get my hand on you! Coming here without telling me about it, you have grown courageous, haven't you?

Let me see how much courageous you have become. If I don't beat it out of you, I am not your grandpa."

At this, little Edgar looked back at his grandpa who ran after him. All this made him exhausted, but his alarmed senses told him that he couldn't stop.

"Then, don't be my grandpa. Evelyn said that she will adopt me as her younger brother. I won't have anything to do with you then."
