Not One Step Back

Set in a fictional world, an invasion from a mysterious artificial entity suddenly invades an entire island nation, taking the world by surprised. A multi-national force was formed, under the advice of a mysterious figure, launched a daring counter-attack to retake the conquered lands and find a way to defeat the unknown threat. A 25-year-old NEET who joined the military to find his purpose, would find himself at death's door as he became assigned to participate in this counter-attack.
