Doctor?

"Brother! Brother! Wake Up! Answer me! Say Something!"Mary yelled anxiously at Jack while grabbing the cage tightly with both her hands. But Jack didn't make a sound nor move.

He was just laying in the cage like a lifeless body. Mary stretched out her right hand. She managed to grab Jack's hand, it was still warm. She touched her chest and let out a sigh of relief.

She looked at him and whispered, "Let's get out of here."

She stood up and took her flashlight. She looked left and right. Then, she saw something shiny and glowing in the light as she flashed her flashlight at it.

She walked toward it and saw a key. She took the key in her hand and dashed back to her brother.

She squatted down and reached her hand out to grab the lock. As she was getting closer to putting the key in.

Lights around the room flashed open. She blinked a few times, trying to adjust her vision from the sudden change.

"Oh, what a clever girl. You're the first one to ever enter my lab as a newcomer."A playful and sinister voice came behind her."No, no, don't let him go now."

She immediately looked back to see a man(black hair, wearing glasses, brown pupils) wearing a long white lab coat.

He was looking at Mary with a smug smile. Mary stood up and yelled, "Who are you?"

He looked at Mary with an astonished expression.

"You sure are, a pretty lady. I must say." he said, still with a smug on his face.

"Answer me!"Mary yelled furiously.

He looked at Mary and said, "I'm Dr Anthony and this is my assistant, Peeves."He pointed to his right as he said.

Mary looked to his right and saw two shiny yellow eyes, staring at her. She flinched but she didn't show any signs of fear.

She turned back to the man and asked "What are you doing here? I have never seen you in the village before. Are you a villager there?"

Dr Anthony seemed quite mad but still force a smile.

"You sure ask a lot, don't you? Well, since you're the first one to ever discover my lab as my target. I shall tell you. First, I hate how you think I'm a villager, can't you see I'm wearing a lab coat, definitely I'm not some normal villager. Sec-"

Mary cut him off."So, you're not a villager? Then, what are you here for?"Mary said curiously.

Dr. Anthony frowned and raised his voice as he spoke.

"Didn't your mother teach you, not to interfere with others when they are talking? And I was about to say that."

Mary glared at him silently.

He continued "Now, that's a good girl. As I was saying, I'm here because this is my lab and..."

He gave a sinister smile again.

"Your brother is now my test subject."He said casually.

Mary's eyes widened as she heard what he said. She dropped the key and looked to her left. She saw a pen on top of some documents. She took it and dashed straight toward him, raising the pen. She was mad, she didn't care even if she committed a crime. The only thing, she wanted now was to kill that guy.

He looked at her, his smile even wider now.

"Peeves" he said, casually.

The thing in the dark dashed out so fast that even Mary couldn't react. The next thing she knew, was that she was pushed to the floor with great force.

She couldn't move her hands, something warm was grabbing hold of them. She tilted her head and saw a familiar person. He was the one in the fog. But this time, he got two cat ears on his head and a cat tail on his lower back.

"You" Mary said in surprise.

He glanced at Mary, coldly and looked up at Dr Anthony.

Dr. Anthony gave a chaotic laugh.

"I love you, really much. You're beautiful, brave and smart. But-"

Mary cut him off, yelling "You insane bas-"

Mary's mouth was covered by Peeves's hand. She glared at him.

Peeves stared at Mary and said in a harsh voice "Shut up! When my master is talking."

Dr Anthony continued like nothing happened "But even if I like you that much, I can't keep you so... Let's play a game."

Suddenly, Mary felt something hit the back of her neck and she fell unconscious.
