BLIND EYE

Vivian had called Ella some minutes before she left Andrew's place, so she had prepared for them to come. When they finally arrived at their house, Vivian called Ella to come out.

Taking a very close look as she approaches his car, he realized he was looking at Ella!!!! That young girl that he killed her parents and grand parents and was in search for, not for anything but to kill her, was now standing in front of him with a lot of smiles.

He dares not touch a hair on her head, because she is connected to the love of his life. He felt betrayed for a moment that Vivian lied to him about her parents dying in her plane crash. But later, he knew she had to it. After all, he lied to her too. Saying he was into estate management instead of telling her he was an hired assassin.

Vivian was doing all that to just protect her baby, from the unknown beast they never knew was right under their nose.

Ella finally arrives where they parked their car and was grinning from ear to ear. "Hello."

"Hi dear." Andrew greets and managed to return a smile. "You must be Ella."

"Yes." Ella nods happily. "I am so happy to see you."

"Me too my dear." Andrew says as he pats her head.

"You guys are ignoring me." Vivian says jokingly. "Let's go inside."

"Let's do that some other time sweetheart, I think I should go home now."

Looking at Ella's face alone, was making him very uncomfortable. Going inside will almost tear him apart.

"You have to come in, I already prepared pasta for us to eat." Ella says.

"You cook?" Andrew asks surprisingly.

"Ella is a woman when it comes to house duties. She does everything in the house, all I do is to clean my room and bathroom, she even does my laundry." Vivian says almost praising her.

"Wow! I am impressed."

"Enough of the talk, let's go inside. The food will get cold."

They went in the apartment and Andrew was surprised with what he saw, the interior decoration was so beautiful and was looking pretty expensive. It looked way better than that of his house. This house must be one of Mr. David houses. But he still decided to ask.

"This house is beautiful, the interior decoration is so exquisite. May I ask how you got hold of this house?"

The question was quite difficult for Vivian to answer, as it reminds her of Mr David again. She thought of how to explain it to him and went off for a while but Ella helps her out.

"It was one of my late grandfather's houses."

"Okay, he sure has eyes for very elegant and classic things." He guessed right, just as he thought. The house belonged to Mr. David.

In no time, food was served and set on the dining. The nice aroma and appearance of the food was so appealing that it made Andrew salivate.

"Please enjoy your meal." Vivian says as they sat to eat.

Andrew takes a bite of the pasta reluctantly, not too sure of the kind of taste it would bring. But was amazed, the food was so delicious. "Ella, I really can't believe you prepared this lovely meal."

"I am glad you like it." Ella says smiling.

As they all enjoyed their meal, Andrew was deep in thoughts. What exactly has he done? He killed the wrong people this time around. How exactly will Vivian react when she finds out about what i did? How will she respond if she finds out I am an hired assassin and I killed Ella's parents and grandparents.

He looks at Ella and his girlfriend, and for the first time in his life, he regrets killing people for money. He closed his eyes in regrets and continues eating his food.

What am I going to do now? Do I tell Vivian everything and destroy the love we both share for each other? Do I kill this young innocent girl and act like I know nothing about it and continue my relationship with Vivian? Or do I turn a blind eye to everything and protect Ella from Jessie?

While in his thoughts, he looks at Ella again, they locked eyes and she gave him a very warm smile. Andrew got his answer immediately, he would turn a blind eye to everything and protect Ella from Jessie?

Andrew managed to fake a smile in return and focused on the food again. Come to think of it, Ella is innocent. He says in his mind. Even when he killed her parents and grandparents without knowing what their offense were, he still felt Ella was innocent and too young to die.

After the meal and some chats, Andrew stood to take his leave. He bids his girlfriend and Ella a good bye, and walks up to his car. He held his door handle and exhales deeply in frustration and confusion. But managed to get himself together and drive gently.

"Maybe it is time for me to stop this work of killing people for money." Andrew says to himself and hopes it was going to be easy for him. Easy or not, he promised not to kill Ella but protect her instead.
