FANTASY

whilst she was still thinking of Ella, she remembers Alex. Will she be happy wherever she is now? I am about to leave her daughter here all by herself and want to elude with the killer who destroyed their lives. If conscience was a person it won't kill me, it will haunt me forever. Vivian says in her mind staring at Andrew.

He stares at her too, in his mind he was thinking if he could trust her or not, should he just finish this mission and go back to Jessie for the balance? If he does that, Jessie might pay him triple since he is her favorite. Or should he just play along hoping for the best but expecting worst?

Finally, Vivian decides to break the silence and stop the stares. "Where are we going to?"

"I suggest we go to a very small country, that is less popular too."

"You should make plans for accommodation in any country we want to go, Let's leave this place in two days time."

"Are you for real?" Andrew asks with disbelief but very excited. "Thank you so much."

"I wonder how she is going to live once I leave her." Vivian says almost sobbing.

"She would live well and fine, but the three of us can't stay together, it's not possible." Andrew holds her hands. "Can I trust you?"

It took Vivian a while before she could respond. She thought of it, why should I trust him? He could switch up on me anytime. But the love she had for him was just too strong. "I should be the one asking you that, are you not going to switch up on me afterwards?" She asks redirecting the question to him.

"No, I promise I won't. Ella is still alive because of you, if not for you I would have killed her immediately I set my eyes on her. I am doing all of these for you my love."

He sounds sweet, but she still had enough reasons, more than enough reasons to doubt him. This man killed Alex, her godmother, mentor and savior, but she still plan to escape with him. It's just crazy!!!!!!

"I Will believe whatever you say and take whatever backlash I receive as a punishment for loving you."

Was it an insult? He wasn't sure, but the fact that she said she was going to believe him made him very happy, so he gave her a very tight hug.

Still trapped in the hug Vivian murmurs some words. "Have mercy on my soul oh God!!"

***********

She surely had told her times without number to always inform her whenever they are running out of something, but she wouldn't listen she always wait till they are finally and totally out of the item.

About to cook rice, and rice has totally finished, three bags of rice finished and the maid didn't deemed it fit to inform her when they were on the last one.

The fact that rice finished within a short period of time wasn't the problem, but that fact that she wasn't told beforehand.

"How many times do I have to tell you that you should always let me know when we are about to run out of something?" Lola asks loudly.

"I am sorry ma." The maid says not acting really sorry.

"Sorry? We finished three bags of rice in this house and you didn't bother to tell me when we were on the last one, now I want to eat and there is no rice in the house to even cook for me." Lola nags.

"I am sorry ma." The maid repeats.

Now the 'I am sorry is making matters worse' she felt like giving her a very hot slap but she controls herself. But If she lets this issue slide just like that, it would still repeat itself. So she asked again. "How come we finished three bags of rice within a short period of time?"

"Ma?" The maid asks pretending not to hear and scratches the back of her head.

"Don't let me slap you!!!!! How come the rice finished within a short period of time?"

"I-I- was cooking it ma." The maid stutters.

"Cooking it for how many people?" Lola quickly made some calculations in her head. She bought those rice two months ago and they are just four people eating in the house. Though, her husband was a very rich man but he wasn't extravagant. They didn't have numerous guards and maids. Just a maid, a gatekeeper, she and her husband. Her children were not studying in the country so how come they ran out of rice so quick. "Rice is not the only food we eat in this house I am sure you know."

"Y-ye-yes ma." She stutters again.

It was either she has been giving out to some people or she has been selling them. But whatever it is, Lola didn't have the strength to investigate further.

She walks out on the maid and heads straight to her room, changes into one of her step ins, picks her bag and car key then drove out. If she had stayed a minute longer with the maid she might have beaten her mercilessly, maybe it's time to change her she thought.

She finally arrived at her destination, she Steps out gently and walks into the restaurant. She orders for a plate of fried rice and chicken. Enjoying the food peacefully, when she noticed a shadow somehow blocking the light, and when she looks up it was Malik the police officer.

"Officer Malik." Lola calls smilingly.

"Look who I ran into." He says and sat opposite her, even though he wasn't asked too. "How are you doing?"

"I am okay." Lola smiles. "Have you eaten?"

"Yes I already did, I come here most of the time."

"Really? Why?"

"That's the life of a single man." He answers shyly.

"Single man? You mean you don't have a wife and a child yet?"

"I do have a son, but he was out of wedlock."

"Ohhhhh, I get it now. You should get a wife soon." Lola teases.

"I would soon, when I get someone has beautiful as you are." He teases too and she blushed, he then realize she was actually pretty but got over it immediately because she was a married woman. "What about that girl, Ella?"

"She is fine." Lola sighs.

"I want to speak with her."

"I gave her my number but she is yet to call, I would send you her contact once she calls."

"Okay." Malik smiles. "Can I get your number then?"

"Oh sure!"

He removes his phone from his pockets and hands it to her. After they exchanged contacts, Malik exit the scene and Lola's eyes followed him, she was already fantasizing.

She had always love guys younger than her age but Malik seems to be her age mate or a year older than her and she is thinking she likes him.
