PUSH OUT

After eating, Lola decided to think about her life a little. This is actually the best place for her to do that, where no one is talking to her or watching her.

Starting from her childhood, she didn't really have a good one because of her father. How she struggled to go to college and how she had to marry a man she doesn't love for money.

Some people might think she wanted an extravagant life, but the truth was she wanted to pay off her family's debts and, get a better place to stay and see her siblings through school.

But now, she is trapped in an everlasting pain. Her sexual life with her husband was just so bad. She was still in her thoughts when a message popped up on her phone. It was an unknown number and it was malik.

The content says 'hello pretty principal Lola, this is my personal line. You can call me anytime you need my help- Malik.' Quickly, a smile appears on her face. You could say she hasn't smiled that deep for years.

The number has to be saved up, she first used Malik and some love emojis attached to it, but deletes it in haste. It will appear very strange and weird. She types police officer Malik and she deletes it again because it appears too formal. After cracking her head for some seconds, she settles for Malik and a police officer emoji attached to it.

Another thought came up in her head and it was DIVORCE!!!!! She yanked it off immediately. Divorce? What will happen to her children? It will greatly affect them negatively. What about the support she would be needing in five years time? Anyone who wants to contest in any political position must have someone else to support him or her financially. Her husband has that money, to guarantee her win in the election. As they say, people answer to money.

At the same time, she doesn't like her lifestyle, what if one of those small boys she was hanging out with decides to expose her when she is contesting or even anytime. Her husband would divorce her, it would even destroy her relationship with her kids and leave a permanent stain on her reputation.

This lifestyle of hers wasn't appreciating one bit, maybe Ella was right when she called her a woman without dignity and a shame to womanhood and motherhood.

Lola concludes that she is going to stop this wayward life, the earlier the better. If she stops her wayward life, what will happen to her sexual urge? She is human after all, with blood running through her vain.

A quick check on the time, and was still on her side. "Wow! within this short period of time I have thought about this much. I wouldn't have been able to think like this if I were at home or in the school." She sighs. "Maybe I should come here often." She whispers to herself.

She flashed back to the time Malik said 'I come here often' once again, she gave a very big smile. "Maybe if I come here often too, we can keep running to each other." Lola murmurs and sips her drink.

***************

When Vivian got home, Ella had cooked as usual. She looks at her smiling face and the meal she cooked out of love, she felt bad and had a second thought of leaving her. Should I really leave this girl? Or I should just stay and protect her and make her forget ever going back to Nigeria?

Ella welcomes her aunt with a very warm smile. "Welcome auntie, come and sit and let's eat."

"Yes." Vivian fakes a smile and had her seat. "Thanks for cooking, I really appreciate."

The appreciation sounds strange to Ella. "Why are you thanking me all of a sudden? It sounds really strange." She giggles.

"I just thought of it, you should be appreciated for everything you do. You are young to do these things you do." Vivian says as she takes a spoon of her meal. "What are your plans for tomorrow?"

"I don't have any." Ella replies eating her meal. "Abdullah asked me to come over but I don't want to go."

She could only leave the house if Ella is not around, if she leaves the house the following day and she goes to Andrew's house, they could plan well and elude. So she had to push Ella out no matter what.

"I think you should go and see him." Vivian says with a big smile and with the aim of convincing her. "I think you should hang out with him more."

"Why?"

"You know he is aware of who you are are, so I think you should hang out with him more. Just to be on the safer side."

Written all over her face is disagreement, but she had to do as her aunt's says. "Yes ma, but I won't stay long."

"You won't stay long? What is the purpose of visiting someone when you won't stay long with the person?" Vivian asks trying hard to convince her.

"Actually, we have planned on taking turns and hosting each other. But Abdullah wants only me to just come visit him, and I don't feel like going." Ella protests.

"You have to go, he really likes you. Inviting you alone to his house really means a lot. You should go visit him and have a lot of fun with him."

Alright, the "big auntie" won. After all had been said, Ella had no choice than to visit him.

"Alright, I have heard you." Ella says and immediately returns her full attention to the food she was eating.

Vivian looks at her at she ate with a little guilt. Thinking of what will become of Ella if she left her but quickly removes her gaze and rolls her eyes to stop the tears from dropping. "I love you Ella, but I don't want to die. Please forgive me." She says in her mind.
