KOFFEE

Jessica, enjoying her cigarette and liquor and vibing to one of her favorite songs by her favorite musician, Koffee. She appears to be trying her possible best to forget what happened to her the day before.

Emerens on the other hand walks in with her eyes very swollen from the cry a day before. She looks at her friend pitifully because she is obviously trying to be happy when she isn't even close to happy. "Look at how happy you are this morning." She says in a very loud voice so that Jessica could hear her and walks closer to her.

"This music is actually giving come a lot of joy and happiness." Jessica says nodding her head and tapping her feet to the rhythm of the song.

"Every of Koffee's songs makes you this happy Jessica. I wonder why you like her this much."

"She is just the best, a mighty lyrics constructor. If you can just listen to her song must especially the lyrics, I am sure you will love her. The kind of music she writes are the ones every normal or random person can relate too." Jessica changes the song to another song my Koffee titled gifted. "Listen to this."

"What about the girl? Have you heard any news from her yet?" Emerens asks changing the topic.

"No news yet, but I am sure she will never disappoint us."

"How much did she ask for?"

"I already paid what she asked for, just the same amount I paid last time." Jessica replies lighting up another stick if cigarette.

"You gave her that amount again?!" Emerens asks loudly.

"I have no choice than to give her that amount, I do not want any sort of mistakes when it comes to this issue."

"But you can't keep spending money anyhow like this. How can you give her that amount of money twice when she hasn't even done something very tangible for us."

"Chill out girl." Jessica replies. "The money is never going to run dry. We both know that the money is more than enough for us to spend in this life time. I am ready to spend any amount of money so far it means me getting a hold of Ella and her allies, then giving them a taste of their medicine."

"That doesn't mean we should spend it anyhow. You just like to turn deaf ears to honest truth I always tell you. If your grandfather wasn't smart enough to invest this much in fake identities and we were able to claim it back on time, how do you think we are going to survive?"

"Enough of this!" Jessica retorts loudly. "Why are you all acting up because of money? What is your problem?" She stands and faces her friend in a lot of rage. "You always act as if you are more affected than I am, which is not possible. I am the one who lost my family, my mom, and grandfather, my future and dream to this girl, not you Emerens!" After spitting out her mind, she feels very relieved at the moment but realizes her friend felt bad probably because she said too much. She exhales deeply and sits where she was sitting before, picks up her glass of liquor, and sips some of it. "How is your mom doing? I forgot to ask about her yesterday, was she happy to see you?"

"Happy you say?" Enerens asks and laughs gently. "She was irritated to see me. Just like always, I wasn't welcomed by mom again, and I had to beg for a sit."

"Was she looking better than before?" Jessica asks again.

"She looked very bad, her entire body covered with bruises and she still has a lot of debt on her neck."

"Did you offer to help her pay off her debt?"

"She did not even give me a proper audience, and she asked me not to talk about her personal life. So I had to leave there, to avoid any fight."

"I know it will all get better soon when it is time, just keep trying to make things better between the both of you." Jessica whispers and starts singing along with the the music she played earlier. "I have life, I am blessed, I am gifted and guided."

"Does our life even mean a blessing now to us anymore?" Enerens asks looking at her friend straight in the eye.

Jessica stares at her friend for a while and then nods with a smile. "I think it should."
