MISSING

Abdullah stretches his left arm to the other side of the bed to touch Ella for some cuddles but unfortunately, that space is empty. He opens his eyes to see if he is mistaken. "Where on earth did she go this early morning?" He asks himself and checks the time on his home which he kept in the drawer very close to him. "It's morning already." He sits on the bed and stretches his arms again and yawns loudly. "Maybe she is outside." He stands and walks out of the room.

"It's so unbelievable that Ella is still sleeping by this time of the day." Darifa whispers to Lola as she assisted her in set to g the table for breakfast.

"It's unbelievable for me too, because she has always been known to wake up very early in the morning even though she sleeps the night before."

Abdullah walks out of the room and quickly uses his eyes in search of Ella who he had presumed should be in the sitting room but frowns a bit when he couldn't find her. He walks up to Lola and Darifa who were the only ones In the sitting room at the moment. "Good morning ma'am, good morning Darifa."

"How are you doing my dear?" asked Lola with a smile.

"Even Abdullah is up before Ella." Darifa says and chuckles. "That's so weird."

"Is she in the visitor's room?" Abdullah asks seeming very confused.

"What are you talking about? Why would she be in the visitor's room? Didn't you both sleep together in her room last night?" Darifa asks too.

"Yes, we slot together but she is not inside the room and I thought she came out already."

Lola immediately stops what she was doing and looks at Abdullah. "What did you just say?"

"Ella isn't in the room ma'am." He replies.

Kylie walks In struggling with her bag.

"Kylie, check everywhere In the house. Look for Ella for me." Lola orders.

Though, young Kylie was confused but she couldn't do or say anything than to follow her mom's orders. "Okay mom," she whispers and walks herself to one of the rooms around her and begins the search for the full-grown big sister.

Malik walks into the sitting room dealing with his shirt's button but realizes the atmosphere looks a bit tense. "What is the matter?" He asks and walks up to his wife.

"Good morning sir." Darifa and Abdullah greet.

"Morning dears, I hope you all had a wonder-"

"Ella is missing." Lola whispers cutting her husband off.

Malik frowns a bit and says. "Sorry I didn't quite get that."

"When I woke up this morning, I couldn't find her, and apparently, no one has seen her this morning." Abdullah says.

"Have you checked outside yet?." Malik asks as he fold his shirt sleeves up to his elbow, maybe she went out."

"Do you think Ella would leave the house this early without informing anyone? Moreover, when she has to hide and lay low because of that girl called Jessica?" asks Lola.

"I don't think Ella will make such move without informing anyone." Darifa supports.

Malik immediately rushes out to see what is going on. "No! She can't be missing." He screams in his mind.

Shamim can't deny the fact that he has been hearing a lot from his room. He walks Into the sitting room and looks around. "What is going on?" He asks facing his mom.

"Ella is missing." Lola replies not feeling comfortable and looking stressed.

"Where did she go?" He asks again.

"If we knew that I am sure we wouldn't be this worried." Darifa retorts.

"Mom, I can't find her anywhere in the house." Kylie says as she walks in.

"Are you sure you checked everywhere in the house?" asks Abdullah.

"Yes i did." kylie nods.

The door happens and Malik walks in. "The gate keeper said he didn't open the gates for anyone so far."

"Then where is she?!" Lola asks yelling loud.

"Let's try calling her ." Malik says and picks up his phone from his back pocket and dials her number, leaving the phone on loudspeaker.

"I can hear a phone ringing inside." Abdullah says trying to trace where the sound is coming from.

"I think it's coming from one of those couches." Darifa points to the couch.

Shamim walks up to a particular couch and picks up a phone which is ringing. "It's her phone."

"Oh my God!" Lola exclaims and breaks down in serious tears.
