YOUR SISTER IS MISSING

The fact that everyone is acting so extra when it comes to Ella keeps pissing him off. "Why the extra fuss over her all the time?" He asks in his mind. Shamim concludes that if he was missing, he was sure no one would pay that much attention to him.

"What are we going to do now? How do we start looking for her?" Lola asks in tears.

"I still don't understand how she left the house without making use of the gate." Malik whispers sounding super worried too.

"Did something bad happen to my sister?" Kylie asks holding tears in her eyes.

Abdullah clears his throat and holds the young girl. "No my sweetheart, we are just wondering why she went to the mall without her phone."

"Are you sure." she asks again.

"Of course, I am. Now go upstairs and prepare well for school."

Kylie nods gently and Walks to her room.

"What are we going to do now?" Darifa asks no one in particular.

"I have no idea too but I guess will just ask some of my underlings to search for her secretly without making it official." Malik whispers and locks eyes with his son who is now standing few paces away from them.

Shamim feels a bit uncomfortable staring straight into his father's eyes, so he looks down for a second or two then heads back to his room. On his way to his room, a lot of questions pops up his mind like, "was she kidnapped by that Jessica girl? Or did she just decide to leave this house because of the issues we both are having? Did she just go for a cool walk without her phone?" He is about to open the door when someone taps his shoulders. Shamim quickly look back to check who it was and it happens to be his father.

"What's wrong with you? I have been screaming your name for a while now. "Didn't you hear me? Or you chose not to respond?"

"I am sorry I didn't hear you," Shamim replies in his lowest tone.

"What's wrong with you? You have been acting strange for a while now."

"I am fine ." He replies bluntly.

"I am your father and I know when you are fine or not. So tell me, what is wrong with you?"

"It's just so annoying the way you all put Ella above me." He murmurs. "I am sick and tired of that already. Even you my father completely ignore me."

"But Ella is your sister-"

"She is not my sister!" Shamaim retorts.

"How can you say such? I birthed the both of you, and I have raised you both to love each other and always live as one." Malik pauses and exhales deeply. "Look, I am sorry if we have ever made you feel bad or never gave you the attention you needed. But you know now who Ella truly is, she needs the love and attention more than you do."

"But you all make it look like I am less important. Even Kylie always demands her more."

"Stop thinking about it like that, a child will always be closer to the person who is always available for them. Ella would always buy her things even when unnecessary, always talk to her and allow her play any games she wanted-"

"Even when she is supposed to be reading or sleeping." Shamim cuts in and chuckles.

Malik looks at his son with a smile, he appears to be understanding the message he is trying to pass. "And you have always been the disciplinarian big brother." He says and chuckles too, then sighs deeply. "Right now, your sister is missing."

His father's statement hit him so hard. Suddenly, the hate, anger and bitterness he felt for Ella went down the drain. In his heart, he felt like the love he had for her increased six times. "I am scared father." He whispers.

"We need to find her by all means Shamim, she didn't go out with her phone and the gate keeper is claiming he didn't open the door for anyone yet."

Something pinch him to reality, if Ella didn't make use of the gate, did she make use of the fence? He asks in his mind. "Father, come with me. I think I might have answers to our questions." Shamim whispers to his father.
