Otani yuu, a middle-aged, had been living his entire life as an orphan. One day his best friend: shimada called him out for reunion after a long three years of taciturn. However, at the day of reunion, he got gunshot from some street thugs - and thus died while saving his friend. He therefore got reincarnation into a new world full of mystery. With his determination to have good life, he faces this challenge head-on, and adapts to it surprisingly quickly.
