Rise my legion! (3/3)
[DAY 30]
'Everything changed at once... I died... this demon... no... my ... my master... he resurrected me... what a wonderful new feeling that is. Everything else I've ever thought of before seems so insignificant in its brilliance. My master.' thought Snake, who was made undead by Neo and looked at him and admired Neo, who was currently meditating on the battlefield.
'Maybe I should talk to my master? Am I even worthy enough to talk to him? No! I have to wait until master wakes up, then I can still approach him quietly.' thought The Snake, whose personality appears to have completely changed after his death.
Neo, on the other hand, who didn't notice any of this, was meditating on the battlefield in the midst of some corpses whose brains and organs he had eaten a few minutes ago.
Neo's consciousness was, as often, in his world of darkness and there Neo observed a change.
Neo's dark broadsword appeared there.
However, Neo didn't see any threads or anything coming out of the sword, instead it just sat in the dark and didn't move.
Neo then tried to grab the sword and after making contact with the sword in the world of darkness, something changed in his real body. The sword on his back plus scabbard suddenly disappeared into a dark mist and were gone.
However, the symbol of an eye appeared on the palm of his hand. It looked like a tattoo and was all black but upon closer inspection the tattoo seems to follow the gaze.

Some time later, Neo opened his eyes again to reality and immediately noticed the tattoo on the palm of his hand.
Neo then decided to get up and started to think about his sword.
Suddenly a fog spread in his right palm and Neo's broadsword formed out of the fog.
The summoning took about 2 seconds. Neo then put the sword on the ground and walked away about 10 meters, after which he tried to send the sword away.
The sword obeyed his command and vanished just as it appeared.
Neo was pleased with the development of the sword. He doesn't know why the sword suddenly appeared in his soul, but Neo feels slightly stronger when it's there. Besides, he can never lose his sword like this.
Neo then looked to his right and found a figure staring at him in awe and astonishment, but it quickly lowered his eyes towards the ground.
"My Lord, I thank you for giving me a second life. I swear my loyalty to you forever. I will try to accommodate your tasks and wishes and carry them out with the utmost satisfaction!" said the figure suddenly.
"Oh... an undead who can talk? How interesting. I can feel our connection and the honesty in your words. Say what's your name?" asked Neo interested.
"My old name is inappropriate to serve my exalted master, I would like master to call me simply servant or lackey." the figure answered while bowing.
"Hmm... do you have any memories of your old life? who you were? what you did?" asked Neo.
"My Lord, I must confess I was the leader of these maggots who attacked your Excellency. I do not ask your forgiveness because I do not deserve it. I was blind and did not see your majesty. Dispose of me as you please" said Snake.
"Mhmm... I think the punishment for wanting to fight me was your death. You're clearly not the old person you used to be. So you should get a new name... how do you like Aaron?" asked Neo.
"I can't put into words how grateful I am. I accept the name with honor. From today on, my name is Aaron." said Aaron whit a wide and honest smile.
"Well Aaron, I would like to know your powers, can you tell me?" asked Neo
"My master, it is with pleasure that I tell you my worth. I am an optimized human... was I an optimized human, so my entire body is more robust, stronger and faster than other humans." said Aaron.
"Mhm... I don't think that's all, is it?" asked Neo interested.
"My Lord, please forgive the incompetence of your servant." Aaron said while bowing.
"No you misunderstand me. What I mean is, don't you have an instinct or feeling, one that only awoke after you became undead." said Neo.
"Ah... Master is right, I seem to have gained some powers." said Aaron excitedly.
After that, Aaron started using his ability, he ran about 5 meters to the side and then stopped.
"That's it?" asked Neo disappointedly.
"Ah, my first ability allows me to perceive everything in a large radius and react quickly, so..." Aaron said pointing to his hand.
In his hand were around five butterflies, all of which Aaron caught in the blink of an eye.
'Even I couldn't feel his speed' thought Neo with an astonished face.
Aaron then showed Neo his next ability, which appears to allow him to empower parts of his body for a period of time. It allows him to throw stronger punches or run faster, etc.
Even though Aaron had relatively strong abilities, Neo wasn't worried that Aaron might seek revenge for killing him.
Especially since Neo perceives only two feelings from Aaron. Admiration and almost idolatry. Also, even if he rebels, Neo can instantly order him to die with a thought.
Rather, Neo is very interested in Aaron and his abilities, especially since Neo now has someone similar to himself. An undead with emotions and memories.
What only confuses Neo is why Aaron retained his memories and intellect in the first place. Neo also isn't much sure why Aaron sees him as his master, but he doesn't really care that much about it, as long Aaron obeyes him.

"Very well Aaron you have your worth, so I will now declare you my Prefect. You will act as my deputy and command the Legion in my place. Otherwise you only follow my direct instructions. There is no authority over you but me. Do you understand that?" asked Neo.
Aaron got down on one knee and said:
"My master, I Aaron accept my role and from now on, as Prefect Aaron, I will only serve your will. Each of your enemies will feel all my wrath." Aaron said on one knee with his head bowed.
"Good. Rise now, Prefect Aaron. I want to know from you what other major factions there are here in the east district of the city." Neo said as he walked to a vehicle and pulled out a sniper rifle.
"My prefect, there is only one other faction in this district large enough to support your ambitions. They are The Ravening Wolfes. They consist of 100,000 survivors and 40,000 of them are combat-ready soldiers." Aaron said as he looked directly at Neo.
"They have quite a bit of supplies and, having served as assassins before the apocalypse, have some guns and ammo." said Aaron.
"Otherwise it can be said that they try to help as many survivors as possible. They see the apocalypse as something humanity on earth needs to face in unity" added Aaron.
"They help survivors?... That's good. That's good to use against them. That way we'll infect them all without even having to fight them." Neo said with a malicious smile as he handed the sniper rifle to Aaron.
Aaron briefly looked confused, but then picked up the sniper rifle.
"From today on, you will become my second eyes and ears. I will use you as a sniper, as I think this is where your skills come into their own." said Neo.
"I obey your command, my master." Aaron said as he bowed to Neo.
"Alright, let's get down to taking over the entire East District. It's time to complete the Legion for now." Neo said as he walked towards the hospital followed by Aaron.

[DAY 34]
Eight figures could be seen in the evening of the day running into a small alley. Seven men and one woman. They were closely chased by 30 undead.
"Just a little more. We'll make it!" screams one of the men in front.
"Faster. Come faster!" screamed the woman.
However, the undead came closer and closer and could reach one of the men who was at the very back. However, suddenly the man turned around and started to attack and dodge the undeads.
"I'm buying time. Get the guards when you're there, I'm counting on you!" the man screamed, running toward the undead, sword and shield in hand.
None of the other survivors dared look back and they all kept running instead. All relieved that the undead are no longer after them.
But what they didn't see is that all the undead suddenly stopped and then the man started to kill them all with one or two attacks.
In the end the man sat on the floor and waited all around him were the bodies of the 30 undead he killed.
...
After a good 25 minutes, the man stood up again and suddenly began to cough and breathe heavily.
Then 10 people with guns came into the alley and aimed at the man.
"I'm not infected. I'm not infected!" the man yelled as he held up his arms.
The ten guards, on the other hand, stared at the pile of corpses behind the man and were confused but soon confusion changed to amazement.
'Did that guy kill them all alone? In close combat? He must be a pro, good thing it's me who's going to let him into camp. He'll definitely get me a promotion,' thought one of the guards.
"All your weapons down, can't you see that's a hero! Come on my friend, we heard from your group what you've already accomplished. Killed a mutant undead while saving them from the monster. Supplies shared and you even risked your own life for your comrades! That's a real man! A hero like in the book. Come on, I'll take you to the camp." said the guard afterwards and everyone put down their guns.
"Thank you, but I would be happy to join the armed forces at the camp first. Doing my bit for all and humanity is enough for me," the man said with a slight smile.
"Of course my friend, but first tell me your name. My name is Steven and I am the 3rd Commander of the Guard at The Ravening Wolfes camp."
"You can call me Neo, I'm looking forward to checking out my new camp." said Neo with a big smile on his lips.

As Neo heared what Aaron said about the camp and their policies, he decided to infiltrate the camp instead of fighting it and turning it into his Legion from the inside. With this tactic he can on one hand transform about 100,000 people and take all supplies of the camp for himself.
In order to have a good cover, Neo decided to spend a few days with a bunch of survivors that he 'rescued' in time to make it easier to get into the camp.

Neo was greeted after being ushered into camp by his small group, they apologized for leaving Neo alone and for being a burden to him over the past few days.
Neo accepted the apology and he and the guard from before made their way together to the barracks where Neo is registered as a soldier.
He now gets two meals a day and a training plan has been issued for him. In addition, he had to do a few small tests that lasted two hours.
When he was finally done, night fell and Neo was taken to one of the barracks where the soldiers sleep. He lay down on his bed and closed his eyes.
Late in the evening, however, he opened his eyes again and got up and made his way through the rooms. In the light of the moon you could then see it, liquid darkness that went into the rooms of the soldiers that Neo walks past.
The liquid entered all rooms under the door slit and went into the soldiers' mouths and eyes. After that it came out again and disappeared from the room. In the end only corpses remained in the beds.
After Neo went for a walk in a total of 5 different barracks, he took a short break outside for about 15 minutes and began to meditate for two hours.
He ordered his new members of the Legion to stay quiet in their rooms and not to move.

After two hours Neo opened his eyes again and got up.
Then he made his way in military clothes through the streets from house to house in the camp and you could see his Miasma entering the houses in a liquid state and quickly leaving again.
Like this Neo already created about 75,000 undead, including all of their soldiers. Best of all, the other humans don't know or expect anything about something like this to happen.
Neo then made his way to the main square of the camp where some people were still outside eating and celebrating.
Neo then ordered his undead to come out of their rooms and start eating everyone in the camp.
After some time, the screams and calls for help from all the surviving people in the camp could be heard everywhere.
There were shots and explosions here and there, but overall the undead attack was a complete success.
The commanders tried to react quickly to the situation and use their soldiers to protect the humans, but when they saw their own soldiers among the ranks of the undead, they instead decided to save as many humans as possible.
They endured the attack of the undead for a whole hour, but in the end the last soldiers finally died and joined Neo's Legion.
However, the last soldiers could give a group of mostly children and women enough time to flee out of the camp.
However, all their all their efforts were in vain as Neo already anticipated such a scenario and left his 19,000 undead under the command of his new Prefect Aaron to deal with it outside.
After about 10 minutes, Neo got the message that all humans had been eaten and some had risen as undead from Aaron.
In the end, out of the entire camp of 100,000 people, there were not a single survivor.
About 80,000 undead joined Neo's Legion as soldiers, while the others were used to increase the strength of his Legion. There are even some Undead that advanced to MID STAGE 0 UNDEAD BODY.
"HAHAHAAAHAHHAHAHAH ... my legion is big enough for now, but it will continue to grow, become stronger and be countless!" screamed Neo suddenly into the meanwhile silent night.
