Trigger quest! "Cat Catches the Rat!"

The policeman switched on his smart cyber brain and reported to his superiors the information Yisi had provided:

"Calling General Control, this is Mosquito Coast Patrol with information of a Hakuba Distinct mob firefight and an imminent explosion."

After ensuring that Yisi was utterly incapacitated, Officer Chang shoved the stowaway Yisi into a floating police car not far away, where he quickly set a new autopilot route using his smart bracelet - of course! The "stowaway" had said there would be an explosion on Whitehorse Street, and he didn't want to be a victim!

Without much worry, Yisi looked relaxed, and everything was going how he could have predicted:

Yisi would be taken to the police station, interrogated by multiple authorities, and then paid bail to settle the smuggling dispute.

To be honest, money was actually the least of Yisi's worries at the moment. Since he could work for the Federation, he wasn't afraid that the Federation wouldn't return the money to his personal account;. However, he wasn't sure what exactly he was doing for the Federation; it was better than working for the mob.

"Hey! I say, this officer, if you don't have anything to do right now, why don't you check my identity records for me."

Officer Zhang looked at Yisi like he was a fool. His eyes seemed to say, "Do you still need me to tell you who you are?

"The sea is too cold, I just finished swimming, and my brain is a bit rusty."

Yisi was lying, but his attitude was just too sincere.

Zhang picked up his external device and tapped it against Yisi's smart bracelet.

Yisi saw that the police terminal read, "Warning! Stowaway!"

The police system really didn't say he was a federal employee. His identity seemed hidden deep in the national system, far beyond the reach of ordinary police authority.

Yisi stood aside, his eyes quickly scanning over the electronic file:

JI Yisi, male, 23-year-old, domiciled in Whitefall City, ordinary class citizen of the Federation, graduate of the University of Heller, currently unemployed, no record of any criminal punishment. A clean biographical background, as far as the Deep Blue Free Army, the Dragon Tiger Gang, or the Federation, does not appear in his electronic file.

Whitefall City, which is nominally part of the Free State, offers another possibility than the average tuition fees of $5-8 million in Federation: only $0.5-2 million and a 5-year-services to Whitefall.

Yisi chose this model. He had 2 years to go before he could leave Whitefall, so he was not legally eligible to leave the country. The data between the Federation and Whitefall was interchangeable, so the system would automatically mark him as a stowaway.

Zhang looked as if he was not surprised, he could bump into 20 down-and-out stowaways like Yisi a day, but not many came from Whitefall.

"An artificial-intelligence graduate from the University of Heller?" As he looked at the electronic file, Zhang commented, "You have a nice academic background! It's not too difficult to get into a giant company; wouldn't that be better than being in a street gang?"

"Tough life and big companies are hard to get into; alas, unlike you, officer, you have a stable job."

Yisi realized that the "JI Yisi" in the electronic photo looked exactly like himself! Even the little brown mole in the corner of his eye was identical!

The only difference was that he looked more mature in the photo; after all, the difference between being 17 and 23.

In Wonderland, he is 23-year-old and no longer a high school student.

Just a quick glimpse, and he already remembered it all, including all the police files of this "Yisi," every word of which was firmly engraved in his mind.

The Mosquito Coast is adjacent to a small wetland park. Through its tall bushes, Yisi could get a glimpse of the luxurious Manyo City, with a vague pink and purple filter and myriad bright neon lights that lit up the city day and night.

Although it was late at night, the sky over Manyo still appeared leaden grey-white, with a thin layer of haze transforming into a dome that enveloped the steel forest.

It seems that there is harsh light and air pollution in Cyber World.

As the adrenaline ebbed, Yisi did not feel very excited now; instead, he felt confused: Who am I? Am I a high school student in Anye City on Earth? Or am I multiple spies in the otherworldly Manyo?

Yisi, of course, knew the meaning of Manyo, a Japanese word for tens of thousands of fallen leaves. Tens of fallen leaves, tens of thousands of players, a real journey of death disguised as a survival game?

Yisi looks to the countdown floating in the air:

[Countdown to Return: 46:56:23]

There were less than two days before he could return to Earth. In those two days, 1,133 players would have died.

The tragic death figures made all players understand how precious life was.

Just then, Yisi heard a crisp ding-dong in his ears.

[Trigger quest! "Cat Catches the Rat!"]

[Mission Description: As the Federation's largest coastal city and economic center, Manyo City is full of opportunities and crises you could never have imagined.

As a fugitive, you have been caught in a police station! Find a way to get into the police station and arrange a proper identity for yourself to prevent the Celebration for Outlying Islands from taking place.

[Task Tip: Hide your greasy rat tail, pretend to be a cat, and kill the "Big-Cat."

[Mission Reward: A chance to win the "Lucky Spin" for average completion; a "Scroll of Resurrection" for A-level completion; a "Wonderland World Fragment" for S-level completion. Note that the rewards are stackable.]

[Current Progress: 0%]

Yisi knows what this "Cat Catches the Rat" mission is about: the criminals are the rat, and the police are cats.

Celebration for Outlying Islands set up by the Federation to celebrate the recapture of Ichinose Island from the Empire is attended by almost every important person in the Federation.

As for "Big Cat,"? Was that someone's code name? Or is it a high-ranking police officer?

Is Wonderland sick? To have an SS-level wanted criminal trying to figure out how to become a cop? And to stop Celebration for Outlying Islands and kill the Big-Cat!

Yisi began to mull over the task: as a multi-faceted spy, how could he hide the rat tail and blend in with the cat community?

Yisi took stock of his status: he was a core member of the Deep Blue Freedom Army, a group that, at first glance, sounded like an armed regime opposed to the Federation, a status that must have a danger factor of 100/100, and Yisi suspected that the fact that he was an SS-level wanted criminal must have something to do with the Dark Blue Army.

Yisi is also a hacker for the Dragon Tiger gang, but this is much better than being a revolutionary, the killer, and stowaway identity, probably thanks to the gangster.

The most crucial point is the Federal Prosecutor's Office, exceptional employees ...

Yisi has previously used Officer Zhang's system to test; this layer of identity does not have any clues pointing to it; it seems that the federal arrangements for him to work are relatively extraordinary and, for the time being, can not expose their own this life-saving card.

If Yisi could only reveal one layer of his identity, he would have to choose the Dragon Tiger Gang. And the best part is that Yisi was arrested by the police because of the smuggling of the Lung Fu Gang.

It seemed that the Dragon Tiger Gang would be the breakthrough for this.
