Outsmarting the enemy.

The night was bright and silent to the camps of both armies but less than a km away, the skirmish broke out with captain Levi seriously injured and broken. The foreign soldiers who had conspired against the Asphodel forces were killed in an all-out shootout.

"Quick take Captain Levi to health care as quickly as possible."

Soldiers rushed towards Levi and picked up his fainted body from the ground.

A figure wearing a dark cloak walked into the pile of corpses as he approached the bleeding and painfully grunting body lying on the ground, which was still under shock.

"Tenbris was your name right, Don't you ever think you can outsmart me in a million years."

Yuuka removed his dark clock revealing himself. Surprising Tenbris with such development.

"How did you know about all of this, I made sure no one would hear the news. HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS?!"

" Simply from the moment I killed the Brittain captains, I knew you were scheming something."

"From that time?"

"Do you think I would take such a huge action just so simple, I had 15 of Britannia's sharpshooters killed who were keeping an eye out from far. One of them just happened to see you witness the whole scenario and told one of the soldiers before his passing."

A big coincidence or by sheer luck, Yuuka had caught Tenbris's intentions long ago.

"How did you know I was here?"

Yuuka's eyes had a sharp glare and he answered to question in an authoritative tone,

but this time his words were vague.

"I just send Levi to investigate the area and I and one person who knew your face kept an eye on you."

"Knowing you witnessed the whole ordeal I knew you would never ally with us."

There was a sense of disbelief in Tenbris's face, he had countermeasures placed for this situation.

"What makes no sense what so ever, I had three people watching the whole area-"

"- And what if these three people were bought by me already."

Tenbris gasped as he released that his men had sold him off. He was struck under betrayal and now was at a total loss.

" Do you want to serve under me?"

"...."

"We have already eliminated most of your allies waiting for your signal, so what is your decision?"

Yuuka was a person who would give every person a redeeming chance if are of use to him, Tenbris was no different.

"Well your captain nearly died or will die because of his loyalty, I have seen the true horror of betrayal and loss. Do you think I would betray my country? Hell NO."

"Well then, you should be proud of yourself it's just that..."

Yuuka's eyes had grown a murderous intent in them.

"....Loyalty needs to be tested properly before being given any recognition."

Yuuka instantly kicked the nearby gun and ran at Tenbris. He closed his mouth and begin to press his wounds due to the earlier artillery fire, the pain and agony were clear in his eyes.

"Sir!" The nearby soldiers were highly uncomfortable seeing a soldier tortured so brutally that, one of them raised his voice to stop their Commander's brutality.

To this, Yuuka stopped pressing his wounds but kept his hand on Tenbris whose eyes were now filled with tears due to the sheer pain. The soldier who interrupted him hesitantly spoke.

"Sir, please stop we should not torture him so much, he is loyal to this country like Captain Levi, we should not treat him that badly."

Yuuka returned to old composure, maybe pressing his wounds was helping him realise something deep inside his mind. Yuuka let go of Tenbris's face and then turned toward the youth and gave his response.

"Soldier, I appreciate you stopping me there I was about to commit some hideous acts, I shall give him a proper death."

Yuuka said as he brought out his gun. It was a beautiful shining revolver, the gun was a special thing for anybody to have. It had 8 bullet capacity and could fire at shocking precision for 30 metres with minimum recoil. It was the peak of known weapon technology in the whole 5 kingdoms.

"Please leave this area, I would like to talk to him alone in his final moments."

The soldier shrugged a bit but they did trust their commander who had carried them to this spot in this absolute chaos so they left the two of them there.

Tenbris's grunting had stopped and Yuuka had set a sitting spot for himself in front of Tenbris, supposedly he was planning a conversation with him.

"What do you want right now? kill me. I am not going to tell you anything."

"Then just listen, ok? Go to hell taking these words with you."

"....."
