A Day Before.

A day ago, in the Middle of The Asphodel camp. Soldiers prepared themselves to leave for the back of the castle as informed to them by Vincent.

During that time, Yuuka was discussing his main plan with Vincent, and Quince entered the camp.

"Rargo, come here, we need to discuss a lot of important things."

Yuuka was planning something hazardous and fishy but needed excellent execution, both by him and another person.

"Yes, Sir. What do you need me for?"

"I need to lead the entire force and charge at the enemy to catch them off-guard."

"What?!"

This sudden information burst startled Quince, he never expected himself to be given the lead of attack with a few soldiers, let alone leading a whole army.

"I will explain all of this but before that, Can I trust you?"

"..."

"Sure, Sir. I'll work hard and show you the results."

"..."

Rargo felt very embarrassed after thinking about what he said, to him he was speaking like a student who is excited to give an exam that he is very confident about.

"I see. So, I'll continue the explanation."

Yuuka began explaining his grand plan or to say his biggest gamble.

"The voice has informed me that, The back of the gate is protected by something and the front gate is our best option to attack-"

Vincent was alerted by this message and his eyebrows rose, he was asked to get the soldier ready to move to the back side of the castle even after the warning.

"- but we will still move to the back during the night time. By doing this, we will put two things to the test, First, the fact whether the voice is playing both sides or not. If we are attacked at night by Lynx, we know that it will betray us at any moment."

"But isn't that too risky, moving our forces with the risk of getting ambushed? If the voice betrays us, we don't have any idea who will Lynx attack us. We suffer huge losses."

Vincent raised his voice, he raised the obvious points that Yuuka understood will be criticised but he began explaining the other parts.

"That's the whole idea, a small portion of soldiers will be moving. I, Levi and you, Vicent will be going with them. If we are attacked then, it will show that all the main forces died under the night sky."

"But if-"

"I know, I understand, all the risks but there are merits to each scenario. If we are not assaulted, we successfully have crossed passed enemy lines, this gives us a strategic advantage and if we are attacked..."

Yuuka moved his gaze towards Quince, whose heart started to pound heavily with all the sharp intent of that glaze.

"In turn, if were attacked by the enemy, will eventually release his army. They can't potentially let them off from the back since I know that from the voice. So, in the left and front gate are the ones left."

Quince clearly understood where this was going.

"Rargo will be hiding from the forces out of enemy sight and strike them."

It was a totally losing situation but could be turned into a winning one. Overall, it felt like a high-risk and low-reward situation.

"I still disagree. This situation is not getting us anywhere. What if something happens to you? or will the soldiers be able to keep hiding if we attacked? Besides the information about the block of the gate, it could be fake."

"The night sky will be our friend, we are sure they can't open the gate because they need my help, I can know it. They did not misinform me about a single detail if I gave them what they need and about something happening to me, You people can hold off without me, Archer is coming with the reinforcements."

"..."

Archer Chira, a man considered the successor of Yuuka, is the military commander. He was a young boy, having sharp eyes and back hair and had just graduated from his military institute with the highest score in history.

He was one of the most skilled battle tactics makers in the country. His book 'People's minds' was one of the most famous books on war tactics. Yuuka himself liked that book and had it in his personal collection.

Vincent knew it would be challenging to change Yuuka's mind but he also had one thing to ask.

"Sir, If possible could I be in control of the hiding forces as are expected to be attacked? I do not fear death but I want to lead that army and work alone."

Vicent spoke his mind with complete disregard for Quince, his presence and functioning were too passive to found of any hope in an aggressive attack.

Yuuka knew Vincent was not a coward and wanted to grow by himself. Personally,

Yuuka enjoyed growth and the desire to grow the people around him. Still, a problem stood at the centre of Yuuka's plan."I would have chosen you for the attack but Quince is the only one who is found unnoticed by the enemy.

He is the only one who can remain unseen and the enemy will be in no doubt if we are cornered by seeing you and me get caught in the attack."

Rargo was a person whose presence generally went unnoticed by anyone, but on the battlefield, this became a weapon. A weapon that Yuuka was going to utilise now.
