All Set For the Show.

The stage was now set for the clash of the captains. Rargo had made his position very strong in the surprise attack. The power of the condition was at a standstill.

But the ball was in Asphodel's court, and they had an open chance to deliver the final blow, which was ready.

The boats moved through the oceans, carrying the Asphodel soldiers, coming with the greatest of might with them. Their landing and combination of the leading forces will seal Asphodel's victory.

Yuuka was set to leave the area or meet the arriving forces himself. Still, before that, he met was planning something extensive.

"I will leave the fight of the castle to the three of you, but I need to talk to Quince, First."

"?!"

The other two captains, Levi and Vincent, who had just convinced Yuuka to leave for the battle to them, just accounted for a condition for this plan.

"What is the need for that? If you are worried about them now, knowing our condition, We will inform them about your health and the plan anyway."

It was just a side condition. There were even more significant reasons not to go out the other side.

"We can't afford to cross the forest now. The shooters in the castle must be hyperactive. They won't flinch shooting anything they see moving right now."

It was indeed awe for the army to get a score in a surprise attack, but this meant the enemy now won't give them any opening. It was an absolutely unfulfilling risk to cross the forest after some time.

"They are currently too busy recovering. If not now, it is the best time to cross the forest to consult the forces, but we need to move in insufficient numbers."

"But you need to be on foot to cross the forest, and you also need to reach the port. The only horse we have is here. It is non-sensible to go to the other side."

"I have another horse prepared for my return on the other side for my return anyway."

"?!"

Another horse, on the other side, was nothing shock to Levi and Vincent; why would he ever leave a horse in secret on the other side. As he always prepared to go back after this attack.

Yuuka got up and moved alone. He was crossing to the other side, seeming alone.

"I need to get away at this time. Lynx's archers won't be watching, and if anyone were to see me, I have the voice's trust. They won't let me die."

Yuuka left the place under the clouds and winds; Levi and Vincent didn't stop him in any way now. They both didn't comprehend what type of man their commander was after all the time.

Yuuka moved alone in the forest slowly, but he wasn't alone.

"Sir, are we sure to move in the current situation? It feels too risky for you to move."

He had carried with himself another soldier to prevent any assault from any raging individual from both sides. The soldier with him was well-built and had a good eye for his surrounding.

"I need to get there quickly and safely; it is a required case for our plan."

They both moved slowly through, nearly reaching the other side of the forest but before that,

"All these bodies..."

From the forest, the soldier saw the bodies through the trees; the smell of bodies was beginning to spread; it was a terrible, very terrible smell.

The soldier's face showed remorse; he was sad to see so many people lying in front of him, without any care for the enemy or friend.

He was just a human; he was feeling extreme grief, seeing the true brutality of human nature.

"This is what we have given them for attacking us. An act of revenge for their actions.."

The soldier looked down as he felt he was being told not to feel remorse for an enemy.

"But it's right to feel sad. We are all trapped in this cycle of killing each other."

Yuuka agreed that it was alright to feel remorse. They were killing people from their own country. The soldier looked a little bright and tried to say his mind.

"I wish I could sacrifice myself to end all of this war. I wish it would end now, and everybody could go home."

"Hey, value yourself a little more-"

"!!!!!!"

A shot pierced right through the soldier's head at that very moment, and with it came a loud sound that nearly everyone heard.

Yuuka was caught off guard by this and looked in that direction of the bullet.

Arthur sat on the side, holding his gun, looking at Yuuka through the scope, barely seeing his face in the trees.

"You've no chance against me, good grief."
