(Alicia's Perspective)
Alicia put on an oversized, black hoodie along with some more baggy clothes to hide her apperence. She didn't want to go out knowing that people are after her without wearing a disguise after all.
As she was getting ready she peaked in at Marcellus who was sleeping nad sighed. She then closed the door and left the house.
She would've taken Marcellus' lamborghini but an expensive car like that attracts unwanted attention. So instead, she compelled herself an uber.
Now that she is en route and not busy, she can think about and process recent events.
'Ugh, why did all of this have to happen?' thought Alicia as she frowned. She hated this feeling, this feeling of guilt.
'The first friend I've ever made. One who now has every reason to hate me, to abandon me…yet he doesn't?' She thought as she gnashed her teeth in frustration.
Her thoughts were in so much turmoil that they became words, "WHY?!!" she muttered aloud, completely tuned out of her surroundings.
'I put him and his friends in danger. I got angry at him for trying to survive, I used him to hide from my father, I even killed him!' The more she thought, the more guilt she felt. To the point she was biting her lower lip and furrowing her brows.
'He already said he forgave me, this shouldn't even bother me anymore. I didn't even purposefully hurt him, which brings me back to, why do I still feel like this?' At this point she sighed as she felt like crying. However, that sigh felt like just what she needed.
'I am upset because no matter the circumstances, no matter the situation, no if's, and's, or buts, my actions hurt my very first friend' She realized as soon as she started being honest with herself.
'I can't fix that. I can't get rid of this feeling, at least I don't think I can' she thought in dejection.
'But, I can do my best to make sure it doesn't happen in the future. I can do my best to clean up my own mess without Marcel or anyone he cares about getting hurt.' She thought s she lifted her head up in hope.
'And….I can apologize' She sighed once again before her eyes widened in surprise.
"That feeling…it's gone?" She muttered aloud in confusion and a little happiness.
Although she didn't notice, she was deep in thought for a while. She hadn't even noticed that she arrived at the airport.
"We have arrived at your destination Miss" Until the uber driver reminded her that is.
Coming back to reality, Alicia thanked the driver and compelled him to stay here without going anywhere.
She waited near the gate to new york and after a few hours she spotted Chuck.
Poor Chuck, who was still being compelled was walking towards the gate to new-york but was stopped by a stranger in really baggy clothes.
He looked and saw who the person wearing those clothes was and his eyes widening in shock once he realized who the person was.
All of the memories of the previous few days came flooding back through his mind like gushing sewer water down a half-pipe.
He turned around intending to run away. This she-devil scared him to death, what kind of idiot would he be if he purposfully stayed anywhere near her?
A dead one, thats what kind, at least, in his mind.
"..." Alicia stood there shocked that he was so afraid of her, to just run away at the immediate sight of her. She was pretty, okay?! How dare he treat her like a monster!
She reached out to grab his shoulder and spun him around. He looked like he was about to scream so she immediately unsed 'Mind Compulsion' and told him to, "Shut your mouth"!
She then told him to follow her queitley and to not try to escape in any way possible.
With a HUMPH, she then turned around and made her way back to the uber car. After making sure Chuck had followed her and was in the car, she pulled out her phone but there wasn't any messages yet.
She put her phone away but just as she did…
DING.
"Nice timing!" jokingly muttered Alicia as she checked her phone and saw a message from Arthur with a map attached to it.
She told the driver to bring them to the marked location and once again found herself in an introspective thought process.
Being reminded of Arthur, she realized that despite all of her prejudice against him, she was the one who ended up hurting Marcellus.
'The irony is palpable' she thought in self-deprecation with a little chuckle. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all?
'I think I also own that human an apology' she thought before closing her eyes to rest for the remainder of the journey to the drop-off point.
Almost completely forgetting about Chuck, whose feelings were unknown to anybody who might have cared in the slightest.
As they Arrived, Alicia saw Arthur standing in an open field with his usual carefree smile on his face and hands in his trouser pockets.
"Did you bring me my gift?" asked Arthur as he tried to joke around with Alicia. However, he knew that it was useless because she never responds to them.
"Mn, Sure did, you ordered one male worker, with a side of vampire hunter right?" replied Alicia with a small smile as she pulled Chuck out of the uber.
"Aw, You finally decided to join me in my god-level banter?" replied a surprised Arthur with a little chuckle.
"Hey," Alicia paused as her expression became serious, "I'm sorry for being rude to you all of the time. I thought that if you found out more about how vampires normally are you would betray Marcel" continued Alicia as she looked Arthur in the eyes.
"I was wrong and I apologize!" she said it so deeply and firmly that Arthur had no choice but to think that she was being truthful.
Arthur just stared at Alicia. He stared at her so long that it got a little uncomfortable, especially because his smile faded into a frown as soon as she started apologizing.
"Arthur?" Alicia said because he seemed unresponsive.
Arthur just stared at her for a few more seconds before he released a deep sigh, while shaking his head slightly, as if repremanding himself for something.
"Apology accepted!" replied Arthur as he went back to his normal carefree self, "Lets get Mr. hunter to the base" he nodded his head to gesture to follow him.
Seeing Arthur sincerely accept her apology made Alicia feel good about herself. So, she compelled the uber driver to forget about them and go home, grabbed Chuck and followed Arthur with a smile.
