Chapter 12

Flashback

It was starting to rain, and I couldn't move. My best friend that I had known from since I could remember just beat me up and left me here like a piece of trash.

I remember going out for a walk around 8pm when I bumped into Jordan and some of his other friends.

"Hey Jordan" I say going in for a hug, but he pushed me and I fell backwards. Did I get the wrong person?

I look up just to see if I got the wrong person, but I didn't.

"Jordan why did you push me" I say getting mad.

"Why do you care? You're just a worthless human being." He said stepping on my shoulder.

"You guys can do whatever you want, I'm going home." He said letting go of my shoulder and walking away.

The group of friends started to walk up to me, and I panicked. I tried to get to run, but it was like my body wouldn't let me so I kept falling back down.

The next thing I know is that one of them knocked me out. I guessed they continued to hit and kick on me because I couldn't move when I woke up. My body hurt everywhere.

It is really hard to see and my back was stinging.

After a while it started raining and I was trying so hard to stay awake and yell for someone to hear me but I couldn't form words to say anything. Did they kick me in my throat?

I was awake and in pain until the sun was coming up. I knew if I fell asleep the whole night I probably wouldn't have had made it.

I made sure the sun was showing before I closed my eyes looking dead on the sidewalk for someone to see me.

End of Flashback.

Dad had gone back to work because he had something important to do. He dropped me off and made sure I was doing okay before leaving.

Shoot, I would to. If I told someone they had some type of werewolf blood in them then I would want to watch them all day if I could.

I didn't talk to anyone when I got back home because I didn't know what to say. When dad said that only me, Cachire, and Cability were only his I felt bad for him.

Why would someone lie to him just because. If I was my dad, I would have demanded a blood test and not have waited till they were born.

Even if I wanted to say something to somebody, I wouldn't know what to talk about.

KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.

"Come in." I say walking towards the door. Cability came in and shut the door behind his self.

"Dad told me what happened." He started. "He told me to come in here to fill you in on anything if you had any questions." He spoke.

"I don't think I have any questions now. I'm just trying to get a grip on whatever happened." I say. " If I do have any questions I'll come and get you." I say.

"Okay," he said. " Oh and when did you? You know...." He said pointing at my stomach. This is so embarrassing.

" I'm not going to tell you." I say covering my face.

" Well at least tell me the name of the father." He said leaning on the door.

" Dad didn't tell you?" I say looking back at him.

"Nope. He just told me that you were pregnant and he had to tell you about us." He said.

"He's just making this harder for me." I mutter.

"He didn't have much time to tell me anything. He had something important to come up. Remember?" He said.

"Yeah, yeah," I said. "It's Jordan." I say sighing.

"Wait. Jordan? You mean the Jordan next door? Oh man this is gold." He says chuckling.

" Well I don't think it's funny." I say looking at him.

"Well I do. Who would have known that the person you hate the most would get you pregnant." He said laughing.

" Dude it's not funny. Now get out." I said pushing him out the room. D*mn he's heavy.

"Come on you know you want to laugh." He said calming down his laughing fit.

"I don't want to laugh, but I do get a question for you." I say.

"Yea what is it." He says wiping his eyes like he was crying.

"Why were you so mean to me?" I asked. Im not one to beat around the bush. Plus I really want to know why.

He immediately got serious before he spoke.

" I uh... I didn't know how to talk to you without giving anything away. I didn't want to distant myself from you so I resorted to being mean. At least I could still talk to you and get a response." He said sighing.

" Aw, so you do have feelings. But you better not do that again. There are better ways to solve problems." I say pulling him in for a hug.

" Yes mam. I do have feelings but don't tell anyone." He said pulling me closer.

I loved this. I finally get to hug my brother. I haven't hugged him like this since we were younger.

He started to pull away, but I only grab him tighter. I didn't want this moment to end. He was taller than me, so I had my head on his chest.

"Okay that's enough hugging you two we need to talk." A voice said. I look over my brother's shoulder to see my dad and two other people.

"Okay." I say letting him go.

" Let's talk in my office shall we?" He said. And with that we all followed him to his office.

When we got to his office everyone got seated and we waited for my dad to talk.

"OK, let's get started." He said clapping his hands together. " In front of you are my beta and 3rd in command.." he said.

I understood who they were after the talk with dad earlier. So Jordans dad was the 3rd in command huh?

"Okay." I say nodding to show I understand.

"Now that we got that out of the way we got some bad news," He paused.
