CHAPTER sixty-three: He was sent by the Vampire Queen

Isobel’s eyes widened in shock as she stood on the top floor of the castle where she had heard the scream of Her Lady Amelia.

Her breath stuck in her throat, her heart thumping a wild erratic beat in her chest as she stared, open-mouthed at the bulky man, masked with a fox headgear, clutching a bloodied dagger.

“W-what h-have you done to Lady A-Amelia?” She whispered, each word catching in a stutter.

She couldn’t tell but it seemed as though the man grinned, letting out a dark chuckle, “Sweet thing, you shouldn’t be here.”

This time, Isobel snapped from her shock and yelled at the man, “Where is Amelia?!”

“I stabbed her twenty times with this…” the man lifted up his dagger that was dripping with the red liquid, “And then, she tried to fight me off and fell off the stairs. That was on her.”

  Isobel gasped, suddenly claustrophobic.

He killed the intending Luna. Amelia has to be dead from that fall.
