CHAPTER 25

  Elena's POV

The riddles were as strange as the weather snowing in early august when it is supposed to be sunny. In the process of thinking, my eyes swept across the direction of the sun. The initial dark cave was replaced with a brightened cave and the sun was beginning to set, I could tell it was almost evening. My silhouette looked like it was stuck at the bottom of my feet and it was as a result of the presence of sunlight...

Then I thought further as I furrowed my brows in concentration and tapped at my chin consecutively. During rain, it is impossible for shadows to appear and neither does it harm or hurt a person and without thinking twice to confirm, due to reflex action I screamed "shadow."

Cass paused his little drama and narrowed his eyes at me. I focused my gaze on Romulus and maintained eye contact with him.
