CHAPTER 26

  Elena's POV

We were met with more deserts with no end, it felt like an infinity of the softest and lightest texture of sand with no infrastructure or creature around, and just like that, I could feel nostalgia punch me in the gut and swinging around non-stop like a pendulum.

"I knew that crusty ass necromancer was a fraudster! and you have the poor habit of believing easily, you are too gulible" Cass' eyes shifted between me and the endless sea of desert.

"Holy shit! How do we get to see the dualistic god after wasting so much time?" I could feel sweat forming on my forehead, and a fat one tickled my nape.

"Wait a minute! The pendant on your neck is blinking." His eyes opened wide and mine wider when I stared at the pendant Romulus gave me. And like magic, the once large endless desert began to look like an infrastructure.

"Oh my! Turned out the palace was hidden by magic and the key to exposing it is the ruby pendant on your neck." Cass raised his brows and grinned.
