Chapter Twenty nine

The group was still asleep way past the break of done which seemed fair as they had stayed up for a long time trying to find her sister. But this morning mother nature decided they had slept just about enough, a sand storm was coming in, and it was coming in fast

"what is that?" Ryoko asked getting up waking Tatsuya as well

"what, woah what's happening "

"can't a person get a decent twenty four hours of sleep?" Viper asked waking up

"guys this doesn't look like a very small sand storm" Ryoko said moving to stay behind Silvers head

"Silver do we need to land?" She asked shielding her face from the sand

"no, its worse on the ground, we should be going upwards" he said before spreading his wings to their maximum width before rising, as they got higher the sand reduced until it was no longer there

"did you blast us into space or something?" Viper asked, everyone was awake by now

"no we're just higher than before, I wonder how high actually?" Elena asked looking down before gulping

"definitely not jumping distance, definitely not, absolutely not, I don't wanna fall from here, are we gonna drop anytime soon?" Elena asked

"are you scared of heights or is this particular one too high for you?" Ryoko asked

"it's this particular one, I haven't been this high before, ever, in my life!" she exclaimed going to look down again but Ryoko stopped her

"not a good idea" she said smiling

"are we dropping anytime soon?" Viper asked lying down again

"yes actually, the storm down there has gone down a good amount" Karla asked

"that's good, I'm not interested in catching a falling baby today" Elena growled

"how about I throw you over" Elena said

"I can fly"

"I can fix that" Vipers eyes widened looking at her

"you are psycho" Viper said closing her eyes, just as she was about to go back to sleep they began to the descend at high speed

"did he fall asleep or something?" Viper asked, Ryoko shook her head before noticing Elena was freaking out

"are you okay?" she asked

"no I'm not, I'm not, I'm not" Ryoko giggled before hugging her, she was smaller than Elena but it was fine because Elena felt better, they stopped descending after a while snd were now flying normally, Elena went to look over and sighed at the distance

"Ryoko" Silver called

"yeah?"

"could we land for a while?"

"are you tired?"

"I'm almost at my limit"

"guys we're landing for a while, a long while" Silver began to descend landing at a slightly shaded spot, the group got off taking their things of. Silver stretched before transforming, changing in to a man, he wore a traditional Japanese regalia with silvery blue hair just like his fur, Viper, Elena, Haru and Karla decided to sleep as well while Tatsuya decided to do something he hadn't done in a long, time, he was an artist in his family, and he loved to draw whatever and whenever he could. Meanwhile Ryoko was still shocked at the transformation of her Spirit animal

"wait you're a person?" she asked sitting beside his form on the ground

"yes I am, you didn't think I was just a lion dragon" he asked opening his eyes to look at the naïve girl, she could catch any ones attention easily

"actually I did kinda think that, wait you're supposed to be sleeping, sorry!" she said walking away but he pulled her back down

"actually I would like it if you stayed with me for a while" he said smiling

"but"

"aren't tired anyway? You didn't exactly sleep enough" he said

"how do you know you didn't see me" she said folding her arms

"I know when you fell asleep in Tatsuya's arms and I'm you spirit animal, I'm connected to you, I should know" he said before opening his arms, she shrugged before lying with him hugging him with her head on his chest

"how old are you anyways, you don't seem much older than the rest of us" she asked

"I'm two years older than you actually because spirit animals ae usual born a while before their master, or mistress" he said smiling as she paid attention to his heart beat before falling asleep.

Tatsuya on the other hand had just finished a small sketch of the desert, it wasn't that hard though, he sighed looking back to see everyone asleep but he couldn't see Ryoko, he raised a brow before standing up to look for her, he walked to the shade at the rock to see her asleep, he found this cute as she always slept with a small pout but at this moment he was slightly annoyed as she was in Silvers arms, he decided to sit under the shade as well but a good distance from them, he knew she was a sensitive person and hardly slept too deeply and he expected the spirit was too.

'honestly I don't know who or what I'm annoyed at at the moment, he didn't have anything against her sleeping with any one else but he didn't really like the idea of Silver

'sh's pretty much a kid though, we all are, she's so naïve yet so cute and powerful, how she pulls it off is beyond me, dang what am I thinking, I should sleep too, don't know what would happen when we start our journey' just as he was about to slept in saw something in the settling dust but brushed it off sleeping immediately.
