The First Awkward Contact with Tony

Fanny's heart would probably be sour enough to make a lemon blush if he hadn't just obtained the Sky Dance. Even now, he was a little sour. What's the point of pursuing anything when someone else was born with the talent?

There were huge differences between Skye's 'Demon Armor Incursio' and his own. Other than the pair of dragon-like wings, the armor on her body was a somewhat sexy female armor, mainly protecting several important parts of her body.

Judging from the appearance alone, her armor was definitely weaker than Fanny's.

Skye was filled with indescribable feelings upon wielding the power of 'Demon Armor Incursio.' Fanny couldn't see her face behind the mask, but he could guess how excited she was when she immediately rushed toward the sky.

Afraid that the flight ability would drain too much of Skye's stamina, Fanny immediately tailed her with Sky Dance skill.

Skye rushed through the sky, her form blurred into a silver meteor. She shouted at Fanny, who caught up with her, "Fanny, this armor is so powerful!!!"

As if he needed to be told that 'Demon Armor Incursio' was powerful?!

Fanny rolled his eyes. He simply watched Skye silently; her happiness left no room for his words.

Although 'Demon Armor Incursio' was incredibly strong, it also consumed stamina at a prodigious rate. Even with 'Ars Magna' boosting her stats, Skye couldn't fly for more than a few minutes before falling down, her armor dissipating.

Skye was so exhausted that she could barely stand straight, but her face was beaming with excitement. "Fanny, how fast was I flying just now? Was it faster than a plane?"

Fanny scoffed, "What are you talking about? You couldn't even catch the tailwind of a plane."

Actually, if 'Demon Armor Incursio' properly evolved the flight ability, it might just be able to catch up to a plane. The problem was Skye herself was too weak. Her flight speed was less than a car; it's almost laughable that she wanted to compare herself to a plane.

Skye's excitement hadn't dimmed a bit after hearing Fanny's sharp words. She looked at him with pitiful puppy eyes, "Fanny, do you still have an extra armor?"

"No, just the one. I still wanted to use it myself, so I won't lend it to you, alright?!"

Fanny stopped Skye's thought on its track. He added, "And even if I give it to you now, you won't be able to use it. You will have to train your body and drastically increase your stamina before you can properly use it."

Skye had personally experienced the stamina drain, so she understood what he meant. She said, determined, "I'll start doing exercise and running laps starting tomorrow."

To allow Skye to experience strength and save her from increasing weight. Fanny decided that this operation had been very successful.

Fanny sent the weak Skye home to rest and then returned to continue his test.

Fanny soared freely using 'Sky Dance' under the starry sky of Mount Everest, equipping the 'Demon Armor Incursio.'

All skills extracted by the system seem to have growth potential, including 'Sumire Karaage Rolls.'

As a qi-based skill, Sky Dance's speed was dependent on the user's proficiency in manipulating qi. Therefore, its speed was limited only by Fanny's control of qi and the amount of qi his body could contain.

Fanny had equipped 'Demon Armor Incursio,' so he couldn't be sure of his current top speed. But with his current level of qi control, it should be rather low.

Well, if nothing else, he could be certain he won't be able to reach supersonic speed.

Fanny was a little disappointed. He remembered that Iron Man had easily surpassed the speed of sound when he created Mark 3.

Fortunately, if he used the powerhouses in Dragon Balls as a reference, the Sky Dance shouldn't have a hard limit on its speed. His current limit was because he had only obtained the skill, and he hadn't had the time to practice with it.

Skye really did begin training after experiencing the 'Demon Armor Incursio.' Her determination made Fanny reconsider his views about her.

He recalled that if he hadn't intervened with Skye's fate, she would've become a secret agent for SHIELD. Her talent didn't seem to disappear even after her fate changed.

Time passed quietly. The media had closely watched Tony Stark after he returned and announced the closing of the weapon research department, but he had been keeping quiet.

No one other than Fanny and Tony's assistant, Pepper Potts, should know what he was doing.

"It has been almost three months. It should be almost ready."

Fanny watched the news about Tony Stark on the living room TV and estimated that Mark II armor was nearing completion.

"Should I check on his progress?"

Fanny was tempted to act on that thought.

Fanny had been spending the last two months racking his brain about how to join the fight between Iron Man and Iron Monger, but he never thought to just check on one of them.

The most important thing was that he didn't know when the two would fight. If he idly waited for the news report, the battle might have ended when he got to the scene.

Thus, Fanny had been hesitating whether he should just take the initiative and start the battle himself, so he could be in the right place at the right time.

But he was hit by another roadblock: the completion of the Iron Monger armor required a miniaturized ark reactor, and the only person who could create such a reactor was Tony Stark. There's no way for Fanny to get a reactor to Iron Monger's hand.

Using the full extent of his invisibility, teleportation, and flight, Fanny decided to sneak into Tony's house and peek at his progress. It would be great if he could use the information to predict when Iron Monger would appear.

Fanny began to plan his action. He had wanted to use Jack Sparrow's Compass to locate his house, but as this mission was just a side objective for an overall plan, the Compass couldn't work properly. He had no choice but to let Skye look for the location on the internet and then hailed a taxi there.

Looking at the luxurious seaside mansion in front of him, Fanny suddenly felt that having more money would be better after all. Now that he could open a portal, he didn't have to care about distance anymore. It would be nice to have a big remote villa.

He quietly sneaked to an empty place and equipped 'Demon Armor Incursio,' activating its stealth mode immediately.

Fanny tried to enter from the front door, but as expected, it wouldn't work. He resorted to opening a portal through the door of the luxurious mansion and then sneaked into the underground workshop.

However, after staying in Kamar-Taj for a long time, Fanny had forgotten that science had its own unique strength compared to magic. He could vaguely hear a voice right as he stepped into the door of the underground studio.

"Sir, I just detected some abnormalities in your living room. This is the footage of the event. I suspect that an unknown danger has infiltrated your house."

Then Fanny saw Tony. One of his arms was covered in armor, and he cautiously pointed the repulsor weapon at the door.

Fanny felt really stupid. Why did he not account for artificial intelligence? How could he forget about surveillance cameras? Also, what kind of person install surveillance in their own home?!

Fanny was very tired. He had messed up another first encounter with major characters.

Is it too late to just leave now?!
