I took a poll on Twitter so this one is a little bit of "M"

Erin sat in the lunch room of the district as she read over her case notes. She and Olivia had gotten home from New York that morning and Erin wanted to finish up a few things with her case notes before she and Jay left for the long weekend to go to Wisconsin. A much needed trip away.

"There you are." Landon approached her carrying a lunch bag and a bottle of iced tea. "I was wondering where you disappeared to. Want some company?"

"Um, sure" Erin looked up at him and gave him a slight smile. Of all the people to have been on her and Olivia's flight back from New York. Erin had been surprised to say the least when she'd heard his voice call her name.

She remembered the last time she saw Landon was right after a four day bender in which she barely remembered. Stress at work and losing Jules, her only other female detective friend in intelligence had caused Erin to have a downward spiral in which she stupidly reached out to her mother and instead of helping her, Bunny had led her down a road filled with bad decisions.

The only thing that had saved Erin and brought her to where she was now, was the fact that Hank and Jay never gave up on her. And she was able to get back to work and get clean and was sent on the undercover assignment with Jay. The move that changed her life forever.

Erin and Landon had made small talk on the plane ride back to Chicago and when they landed she'd casually said they should meet up for lunch, not thinking that Landon would really take her up on the offer.

He started to sit but stopped. "Are you sure? If you want to be left alone to work I understand."

She waved her hand at him dismissively. Hoping to get the "catch up" lunch over."Just have a seat"

His smile widened as he sat on the other side of the table. He settled himself and opened his lunch bag as Erin set her book aside.

"So," Landon started to speak as he took a small bite of his sandwich. "Congratulations the whole intelligence thing. You must be excited."

Erin frowned before she smiled. "Thanks"

Landon watched her, the Winter sunlight reflecting off her silky hair and he sighed inwardly. Why did she have to be married? Seeing her again, his feelings for her had grown.

At first, he was just attracted to her; she was, after all, an extremely beautiful woman. A fun drinking buddy and a part time sex partner. But as the weeks had progressed he had developed feelings for her that were far deeper than he ever had a right to feel. And he would torture himself and spend as much time with her as possible. God he was an idiot.

He couldn't help himself though. She was funny and intelligent and sarcastic to the point of biting at times; but she was also kind and warm and caring in a way he had never encountered in a woman before. He could gauge her moods just by the way she walked into the room and she would take his breath away when she would laugh. And her lopsided smile and the way her eyes would crinkle when she…..

"Landon," Erin waved her hand in front of his face trying to get his attention.

Landon shook his head. Damn it. He had gone and done it again. "Sorry about that Erin. Thinking about my sober living meeting later. You know, your old pal Sean Roman is in my AA. He's kind of an idiot"

Good cover.

Erin laughed lightly as he blushed slightly before taking another bite of his sandwich.

"So, who is she?" Erin asked as she gave him a sidelong glance.

Landon started to choke on his food as his eyes widened. "Who?" He coughed as Erin leaned forward and patted him on the back.

"Geez Landon. Now I definitely know it's a woman after a reaction like that." Erin laughed.

Landon stopped coughing and took a drink of his tea.

"What are you talking about Erin?"

"You were lost in LaLa land Landon. That could only mean one thing. You were thinking about a woman." Erin teased as she poked him in the side playfully. "God, it's not Bunny is it?"

He pretended to be offended. "I don't know what you're talking about Erin. I was thinking about my meeting."

"Uh huh," Erin looked away for a moment at the sound of a child laughing.

"You don't have to believe me Erin. But it's the truth." He insisted, panic rising in his throat.

"If you say so," Erin replied casually, knowing the way to get under his skin. She had learned a lot about him in the last two months.

"Nice try Erin. Your reverse psychology isn't going to work on me." He smirked as he finished his sandwich and crumpled the bag in his hand.

Erin eyed him narrowly. He wasn't playing this game the way she would have liked and she had the overwhelming urge to slap him.

"All right. I'll let it go for now. But I'm telling you Landon, I know how a man looks when he's in love and you've got it. Big time."

Landon fidgeted in his seat, picking imaginary lint off his pants and Erin laughed. "I knew it! Come on spill. Who is she?"

"Hello beautiful."

The voice came from behind her and Erin instantly recognized it. She looked up and smiled into the face of the love of her life.

Landon looked up at the tall stranger and wondered who it was for a moment, until he noticed the thin silver band on his finger.

Erin stood and Jay pulled her into his arms as he kissed her hello.

"Hey you," Erin said softly as she pulled her face back so she could look at him. "What are you doing here?"

"I missed you and I thought I would surprise you and take you to lunch." He looked over at Landon, his expression unreadable. Who the hell was this guy? "But it looks like you've already had lunch though."

Erin suddenly remembered that Landon was still there and she stepped out of Jay's embrace so she could introduce them. "Oh, God, how rude of me. Jay, this is Landon, Landon, this is my husband Jay."

Jay extended his hand to Landon and smiled. "So you're Landon. Erin has told me a lot about you. I thought you looked familar"

It took a moment for Landon to react as he was scrutinizing the man in front of him, noticing out of the corner of his eye how Jay's hand had settled on Erin's waist possessively.

"Hi Jay. Same here. Erin used to mention you. I feel like I already know you."

Erin smiled happily, oblivious to the tension that both Jay and Landon noticed immediately.

There was an awkward silence for a moment before Landon bent to pick up his bottle. "Well I should be getting back to it. I'll see you later Erin." He extended his hand to Jay again. "It was nice to see you again Jay."

Landon nodded his head and turned to walk away.

Erin turned to Jay and stepped into his arms again. "Hi there," she said softly as she slid her arms around his neck and pressed herself against him.

"Hi there," he murmured as he lowed his mouth to hers again for a soft kiss.

"So that's the infamous Landon, huh?" Jay raised his eyebrow and Erin laughed at the adorable look on his face.

"Yes, it was." She was in a good mood and felt like teasing him.

Jay pulled her closer, his hands settling on her lower back. "What the hell did he want?."

Erin laughed out loud at him as she cocked her head to the side, giving him a sultry look.

"Why Jay., if I didn't know any better I would say you're jealous."

Jay's brow furrowed and he pouted slightly at her. "And do I have any reason to be jealous Erin? I saw how he was looking at you even if you seemed oblivious to it."

Erin looked genuinely surprised. "Jay, there's no reason whatsoever for you to be jealous. And I don't know what you think you saw but he's got his mind on a woman and it's not me. I was just teasing him about it before you showed up actually."

"Good," Jay said as he leaned his face down and inhaled her sweet scent, his lips just barely grazing the skin of her neck. "Because I'd have to kick his ass otherwise."

Erin laughed again as she pulled his lips up to hers and properly greeted him hello.

It was the sound of her laughter that had caused him to turn around. He was pulling the outside door open when he heard it. The sound was music to his ears; whenever he heard it he would get a feeling of warmth spread throughout his entire body.

He turned and saw them. They were standing in each other's arms and her head was tilted to the side as she regarded him with a playful, sexy look. Landon felt his heart crack a little in his chest as Jay bent his face to her neck, his lips barely grazing her skin. Erin's head lolled back and she closed her eyes for a moment before she grabbed his face and pulled his lips to hers.

That was too much for him to bear. He took one last look at them before he stepped through the door. They were still kissing, oblivious to everything else around them.

Gently closing the bedroom door behind him, Adam saw Kim curled up on her side on the bed. The sight of her hand lightly resting on her abdomen made him smile, letting his eyes travel to the other side of the bed, he saw that Jackson was sprawled out, almost taking up more room than Kim was.

It was nearly midnight, and he was just really to fall asleep in his own bed next to his family. After spending the evening eating take-out and watching television with Atwater he was really ready to call it a night.

Setting down on the edge next to Kim's back he placed his hand over hers. Knowing that their hands were covering another life that they would bring into this world made him feel like nothing else ever had. They had already created a perfect baby together, and that was something he thanked his lucky stars for every day of his life. No matter what it took, he'd do anything to make sure their little boy was okay. He had never loved anyone like he loved his son, and knowing there was something he couldn't directly fix made him nervous. Allowing the fate of the rest of his life to be in the hands of someone else was a hard pill to swallow.

Picking up Kim's free hand, he laid soft and gentle kisses on her palm and along her fingertips. She looked so peaceful lying in front of him, by looking at her you couldn't tell that their life had taken a turn into something that was emotionally draining.

Looking at his small family, he felt the tears well up in his eyes. Being so scared and so happy at the same time was yanking his emotions back and forth drastically on the continuum. Feeling guilty about being so captivated with the idea of the new baby,

Gently curling up behind her, he wrapped his arms around her protectively. This was the only place he ever felt safe, and safe was exactly what he needed. Burying his head in her hair, the silent tears dripped down his cheeks, saturating whatever was in their path. He hated feeling so weak, but there was nothing he could do about it.

When his tears became more rapid, the thought of waking her up was not what he wanted to do. Slowly sliding himself away from her body, and automatically checking to make sure Jackson wasn't near the edge of the bed, he eased out of the door and down the hall into the bathroom.

Making his way into the darkened room, he walked over towards the back of the fairly large room. Removing the trashcan from beside the toilet, he slid down the wall gently and wedged himself between the shower and the stool. Tucking his knees up towards him, he buried his face in his hands. Trying to be as silent as possible, he let the tears pour down his cheeks, not even bothering to wipe them away.

Leaning his head against the cool glass of the shower next to him, so many things filtered though his head, making the ability to control his emotions even harder than before. Whenever the tears started to flow, he always had the hardest time getting them to stop.

Emotions he hadn't felt before were colliding left and right, leaving his heart a tangled mess, too tied up in knots to unwind. His chest heaving at a rapid rate, the room was just getting way to warm for him to even stand to sit there. Pulling at the buttons of his shirt, he just couldn't get his fingers to corporate, and ended up popping more of the buttons off than were left on. Still way too warm, he peeled off his damp wife beater and threw it in the direction of the hamper not even coming close to making it in.

Leaning back and lifting his weight off the ground, he worked at the button and zipper on his jeans, finally sliding them down his hips he cast them off in the direction that the wife beater and shirt flew not moments earlier. Either the heat was turned on in the middle of the summer or he was having a heat stroke in his own bathroom. He couldn't open the door for fear of waking Kim up, and he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown from the imaginary heat that was pouring in the room from some unknown place he couldn't find.

The blood was pounded through his head, and he was certain that the veins were near bursting in his temples. Pressing his hands against them was doing nothing to alleviate the pain, and he struggled to stand up to find some kind of painkiller. Fumbling with the glass door on the medicine cabinet, he finally found a bottle of codeine. Fighting with the childproof lock, he was being so rough the lid popped off and pills fell to the ground scattering all over the place. Grabbing a couple from the countertop, he put them on his tongue and grabbed one of the Dixie cups from the sink-side dispenser, filling it with cool tap water.

As the angry tears continued to stream down his face, he slid back into his cubbyhole. Resting his head back against the glass, finally wearing himself out enough to fall into a fitful sleep.

Flipping on the bedside lamp, Kim looked around and wondered where Adam was. Jackson was curled up right next to her, and his side really didn't look as though it had even been slept in all night.

Gently pulling the comforter back, she tucked Jackson underneath it and gently eased open the bedroom door. Padding down the hall, she gently pushed open the bathroom door and hit the light switch.

Her eyes immediately landed on the carpet, which was full of pills, and confusion washed over her face. Then spotting the discarded clothes, she finally spotted the slumped form of what she thought was her naked husband on the floor. Letting out a small scream unconsciously, she backed out of the room when she knew she should be going forward. But her feet just wouldn't let her move any closer to him.

Tears pouring down her cheeks, her feet finally allowed her move forward and rushed back into the bathroom and squatted down over his body, her weight resting partially on his thighs. Seeing he was still wearing his boxers, her hands moved to his neck searching for a pulse that she was scared wasn't there. Holding her face to his chest, she listened for his steady heartbeat that she prayed was still thumping strongly.

After what seemed to be forever, she felt the blood pumping under her fingers, and his heart beating against her ear.

Turning her attention back to Adam, she took both her hands and forcefully shook his shoulders repeatedly. Being drug out of his heavy sleep, Adam slowly opened his eyes and saw Kim in his lap, the tears pouring out of her eyes.

Wrapping his arms around Kim tightly and bringing her flush with his body, he finally spoke.

"What's wrong Darlin?"

Lifting her head from his chest, she looked into his red-rimmed eyes and answered him not above a whisper.

"I thought you were gone."

"Gone? Baby where would I go?" He asked not understanding what she meant.

Burying her head back in his chest, she continued to cry for something she didn't fully understand.

"Kim, please quit crying. You're scaring me."

Jerking her head up off his chest, she looked at him incredulously.

"I'm scaring you!" she screamed at him suddenly, "I'm not the one half-naked on the bathroom floor surrounded by pills!" She said slamming her fists against his chest over and over again, as the tears just kept pouring out of her eyes harder and harder as her fists slammed against his body.

Finally taking in his surroundings, fear washed over his face as he grabbed her flying fists stilling them as he pulled her close to him.

"It's not what it looks like Burgess. God, it's not at all what it looks like at all."

"Then what is it, Adam?".

"I didn't want to wake you…and it was so hot in here...and I had a headache…the pill bottle wouldn't open and they spilled everywhere…I must have fallen asleep," he explained choppily through his tears.

Kim raised her head off of his chest, and looked into his eyes, his tears matching her own.

"Next time wake me up," she said gently smiling through her tears.

"I will," he promised as she eased herself off of his lap.

Breaking apart, he looked into her eyes and whispered, "I love you."

"I love you too Adam," she answered instantly.

"I'm so sorry I scared you Darlin', I sure didn't mean to."

"I know you didn't Adam, but that doesn't mean you didn't. Next time promise me you'll talk to me, neither of us can handle all of this on our own. We need each other,"

Nodding silently, Adam agreed to her requests.

"Promise me you'll never leave me," she whispered a moment later, her voice filled with emotion.

"I promise, oh God Kim, I promise. I would never, ever as long as I live leave you. I'm sorry I got so upset over Roman. I know that you're not into him"

Kim nodded and looked up at Adam. "I'm sorry too, I'm sorry for the kiss and for our fight. I hate fighting with you."

"I hate fighting with you too, Burgess" Adam confessed. "I love you"

"I love you too" Kim sighed and pulled Adam to her and kissed him.

000000000000000000

Jay sat on the couch in just his boxer shorts. He and Erin had made it up to Wisconsin earlier in the evening. And Erin had went out down to the small store down the road while Jay relaxed.

Jay was flipping through one of Erin's magazines, well actually one of Burgess's's magazines. Burgess always brought her magazines over for Erin since Erin refused to spend money on them.

Kim got some very interesting magazines, that's for sure. Almost every one of them had articles on sex every single month. Jay would never tell Erin this, but he secretly loved them. He used to read his sister's all the time in high school and he learned lots of interesting things about the female persuasion by reading them.

The sound of keys in the door startled him and he tossed the magazine on the table just as the door opened. Erin walked in and smiled as she saw him scrambling to look casual. She noticed her magazine was askew on the table, not the way she left it of course and she giggled softly to herself. He was so predictable. She knew he read her magazines secretly but she let him have his manly dignity.

At least for now.

She tossed her purse on the table next to the door and sighed.

Jay looked up, pretending to be surprised. "Hey Baby. How was the store?"

Erin walked over and sat next to him on the couch, kicking her shoes off in the process. He reached out and pulled her into his strong arms and she sighed happily as she leaned against him.

"It was good Jay. Mr. O'Malley told me to tell you hi and to come down there when you get a chance."

"Oh, really? Did he say why?" Jay lowered his mouth to her neck and kissed it softly.

Erin tilted her head as she let his lips relax her while simultaneously arouse her.

"Something about some stuff going on around the town this summer. Wanted to know if you wanted to be a part of it. He also wanted me to tell Hank that there's a new home for sale not far from here. Said it would make a great palce for him and Olivia to retire." Erin said so casually that Jay had to shake his head to make sure he heard right.

"He what?" Jay asked after he tore his lips away from the soft skin of her throat as he sat up.

Erin laughed at his reaction. She knew he'd react like that.

She turned her face so she could look at him fully.

"When Hank and Liv came up here after they got married, Mr. O'Malley and Hank really hit it off. And I guess they got to talking about retirement and he told me to pass along the news of the house."

"And why didn't you tell him hell no, we're not going to spend the rest of our lives with Hank?" Jay asked.

Erin sat back and raised an eyebrow at her husband "Jay, seriously? It's just a house and don't even act like you and Hank aren't friends. What about that talk you two had at dinner about coming up here to fish this spring?"

"That was a gesture. And it doesn't mean I want the guy to live up here forever" Jay groaned.

"I think it would be nice" Erin sighed.

"That's cause you're sucked into the dark side" Jay shook his head as he looked at Erin "And our kids are sucked into it too"

Erin sighed and hit Jay on the shoulder "We are not"

"So tell me, what the hell Landon was doing with you this afternoon at lunch" Jay asked

Erin shrugged her shoulders "Jay, I already told you on the drive up here. He was on my and Olivia's flight home. He had been to some concert and was sitting a few seats behind us. He asked me out to dinner, I told him I was married with a family and when the plane landed I had mentioned that we should have lunch. You know one of those things people say to be nice. He took me up on it and I told him to stop by the district. And we had lunch, then you showed up. It was innocent."

"How asked you out? Why didn't you tell him you were married right from the start" Jay asked trying to shake the uneasy feeling of this whole situation.

Erin pulled out of his embrace. "It hadn't really come up in conversation yet." She cocked her head to the side as she eyed him with amusement. "Are you jealous Jay?"

He frowned and his brow furrowed. "No, I'm not jealous."

Erin slid her arms around him and pressed her lips to his. She ran her tongue along his lips requesting entrance to his mouth.

Jay sank into her like he always did and opened his mouth. He sighed softly as he let her tongue caress his and he wrapped his arms around her again.

He moaned into her mouth and he felt his cock begin to harden beneath his boxers. Erin kissed him and kissed him until she finally had to pull away in need of oxygen.

"Jay, you are the most challenging man I have ever met." She kissed his forehead before she stood up, grabbed her shoes and sauntered down the hallway, deliberately swaying her hips seductively.

Jay watched her walk and then groaned as his cock twitched and hardened even further.

He stood up and followed her into their bedroom.

Jay stood in the doorway and watched her as she opened the closet door and removed her jeans. She slid her them down her legs and tossed them into the clothes hamper and Jay's eyes darkened at the sight of her black silk panties. She slowly unbuttoned her red and black flannel blouse without saying a word to him and slipped it off her arms followed by her black t shirt, leaving her clad in only her matching set of underwear.

Jay licked his lips as she unhooked the clasp on her bra and slid it down her arms and tossed it also into the clothes hamper with her shirt and Jay growled softly as he walked closer to her.

Erin heard the sound and her breath hitched. She knew what she was doing to him and she was doing it deliberately. Just before Jay reached her, she turned and walked over to her dresser and pulled out a tank top and a pair of Jay's boxers. She reached up to slide the top over her head when she felt his finger trail softly down her spine.

She sighed and her head lolled back at the soft sensation. She let the garment fall from her hands and it landed softly on the hardwood floor of the cabin. Jay moved up behind her and slid his arms around her waist as his lips attached themselves to her bare shoulder.

Erin slid her arms up behind her and around Jay's neck as he softly sucked on her skin, his fingers gently making soft circles around her belly button.

"Jay," Erin whispered breathlessly as he kissed a heated path across her back to her other shoulder where he lavished it with the same attention as he pressed his now raging erection against her bottom.

Jay's hands slid up over her stomach to cup her breasts in his palms.

Erin dropped her arms from around his neck and moved one behind her, sliding her hand into the front of his boxers, grasping him in her small smooth hand and she stroked him from base to tip.

Jay groaned against her shoulder as her gentle yet firm touch sent shivers throughout his entire body.

Jay quickly turned her around and claimed her lips in a deep kiss. Erin wrapped her arms around him and he lifted her with ease into his muscular arms.

Jay walked to the bed and gently laid her down on her back. He settled his knees between her thighs and he pulled his lips away from hers to nibble gently on her chin. His lips traveled softly along her neck to her clavicle. He ran his tongue along her collar bone tasting the think sheen of salty sweat on her skin.

Erin slid her fingers in his hair and massaged his scalp gently. When his lips reached her breast and surrounded her nipple she moaned softly and her fingers tightened in his hair.

He suckled her softly, savoring the sweet taste of her skin then increased the pressure of his lips as his fingers tweaked her other nipple to just as hard a peak.

His other hand slid between then and massaged her through her damp panties. His fingers slid passed the elastic and into her hot wet cavern. Erin bucked her hips as the tip of his finger tickled her clit softly.

Jay placed open mouthed kisses along her stomach as he moved lower, stepping off the bed and settling his knees on the rug that lay beneath the bed. He slid his hand out of her panties and crooked his fingers in the waistband and slid them down her thighs.

He lifted his head as she lifted her hips and he watched her face as she opened her eyes to look down at him.

Jay smiled at her as he lifted her thighs over his shoulders.

Erin's hips jerked at the feel of his tongue on her and Jay grasped her hips to steady her. He closed his mouth around the bundle of nerves and felt it throb between his lips. He flicked his tongue across the tip rapidly, instantly setting a rhythm that he knew would drive her wild.

Erin tightened her thighs around his head and he slid his tongue lower to dip between her folds. Jay thrust his tongue inside her repeatedly as Erin's head thrashed around as soft cries fell from her beautiful lips.

Erin bucked her hips again and Jay moved with her, his lips never losing contact with her.

As much as he loved to tease and torture her, tonight he wanted her to come quickly so he could bury himself inside her. He needed to feel her surrounding him, becoming one with him.

Erin's breathing became more erratic and he could hear her panting above him. She cried out his name as she lifted her hips off the bed, her legs tightening and shaking as the orgasm tore through her body. Jay held her steady and continued to assault her tender nub until her hips slumped against the bed again and she begged him softly to stop.

Erin's smiled a soft sated smile at him as he stood and pushed his boxers down his legs, his rock hard cock jumping free from the confining material.

He lay down on the bed next to her and pulled her into his arms, letting the tremors in her body subside as he softly kissed her lips. Erin tasted herself in his mouth and she sighed as his tongue gently caressed hers.

Erin pulled her mouth gently away from his and rested her head on his chest as Jay nuzzled the top of her head.

"So, what was your answer when he asked you on a date Er?"

Erin giggled as she rubbed soft circles on his stomach, her eyes trained on his straining erection as it jumped and twitched.

"I told him that I'd have to ask my husband for permission. You don't mind do you?"

He tightened his arms around her lowered his mouth to her ear. "Er don't tease me."

"Jay," She tilted her head up so she could look him in the eyes. "Don't be stupid. I told him that I was married and he apologized. Then Olivia told me about the Sargeant program and how everyone in New York thought I'd be great at it"

Jay turned so he could face her and his hand rose to cup her cheek. "Then you need to apply Baby. You can't let an opportunity like that go by."

"But I'd have to go away we'll be apart for two months Jay. I'd take the kids with me, but I couldn't be apart from you for that long" Erin's eyes lowered to his chest and Jay put his finger under her chin and urged her to look back at him.

"No we won't. I told you I'll come to visit you. I'll have to make sure all those other guys don't hit on you." He winked and she knew he would support her decision no matter how much it hurt him. She could see the pain in his eyes, the pain he was trying to hide but never could from her.

She smiled and her eyes softened. She decided it was time. "Well Jay. If I do decide to do it, wherever will you get your magazines to read?"

Jay looked at her confused for a moment and then awareness dawned on his handsome face. He looked shocked and then embarrassed and then he just looked resigned. He narrowed his eyes at her and she laughed out loud. "How did you know I read those?"

"Because Jay, subtlety is not your best trait."

Jay watched her as she laughed at him and he frowned. Then her laughter became contagious and he joined her, cuddling her closer again. Erin placed soft kisses on his chest and Jay's cock twitched again, his throbbing member aching for relief.

"You know Baby," Jay whispered in a husky voice. "Those magazines might be for the adventerous position triers, but I find the oldie but goodies work just as well"

Erin leaned up on her other arm. She turned her face to look at him, smiling mischievously.

"And what position would that be Jay?" Erin asked, hoping it would be the same one she was hoping to try.

His eyes lit up and he sat up. He slid up on the bed and rested the pillows against the headboard. He grinned at her and held his arms open, beckoning her to him.

Erin smiled at him, loving the look of happiness on his face. She moved above him and went to settle on his lap facing him. Jay rested his hands on her hips and massaged her skin softly. She leaned against his chest and Jay kissed her neck as his one hand slid down to the juncture of her thighs.

Jay nibbled her ear gently. "I love you Erin," he whispered as he bit the lobe softly. "Lift up a little, love."

Erin rose to her knees and he held her hips steady. He guided his cock to her entrance, his tip slipping between her folds and Erin sat down on him, his cock filling her completely. Jay groaned and bit the skin of her neck softly as her wet heat surrounded him.

Erin began to circle her hips against him and he thrust up into her. She was so tight and gripped him like a vice as she slid up and down on his rigid cock. Jay's head fell back against the headboard as he guided her with his hands on her hips, lifting her and pulling her back down onto him with a force that stole both their breath.

Erin's eyes fluttered closed and her head fell forward against his shoulder as the sensations he was creating in her body overtook her. One of Jay's hands slid back down to her clit and he rubbed it softly, sending shudders throughout her entire body. She felt a tingling start in her toes and it slowly rose up her legs and to her core and she groaned his name as she felt her world explode. Her body shook and convulsed in his arms and he thrust harder into her.

Jay increased his pace as her velvet walls gripped and released him like a tiny fist and he leaned forward, his head falling on her shoulder as his lips clamped onto her soft flesh. The pressure in his balls released and he exploded inside her as a guttural sound tore from his lips. He held her hips steady against him as he pulsed inside her, coating her with his love for her.

Erin slumped back against him and he slumped back against the pillows as they struggled to regulate their heartbeats and their breathing. Jay wrapped his arms around her and cuddled her close.

"You know Er," he breathed through ragged breaths. "That magazine was right."

Erin giggled softly as she wriggled her hips and he growled against her shoulder.

"I love you Jay." Erin said softly as she turned her face to kiss him gently and Jay cupped her cheek and slid his tongue into her mouth.

"I love you too Baby." He whispered against her lips as he contentedly held her close.

"I missed you while I was gone" Erin confessed.

Jay sat up and reached down to grab the comforter from the end on the bed and pulled it up over him and Erin. "I missed you too, Er.

Erin's eyes started to flutter close as she felt Jay gently run his hand up and down her back. "If the Sargeant program is something you want, Erin. We'll find a way to make it work. Baby, your dreams are my dreams and I want what you want. My home is where you are and no matter what you decide, we're going to make it work."

Erin turned over on her back and faced Jay who was resting his head on his hand as he looked at her.

"It's only something to think about. I'm sure I probably wouldn't even get in. I guess I just want you and our kids to be proud of me. That if something were to happen to me...I'd know I accomplished something more than just being some junkie's daughter"

Jay frowned as he looked at his wife. He gently reached down and brushed a lock of Erin's hair across her face.

"Baby, you are so much more than some junkie's daughter. You're everything. And if it's even possible I love you more now than I ever have. Spending this last week with three kids, one of whom was sick only shows me just how stong you are. To take care of our children, and our dog and me and keep a house running, all while working the hours that we do? Erin, you're amazing. And the things that you've done for me since Mouse died? You've given so much of yourself and If anyone needs a turn to sacrifice, it's me. And I wouldn't care if you became a Sargeant or stay a detective. Because some job title doesn't make you less of a woman to me. What matters to me is seeing this woman in front of me, this woman I'm so crazy in love with, happy"

Erin ran her fingers along Jay's forearm as she listened to him talk to her. "I am happy, Jay. And I owe it all to you. Because you're the one who pulled me back in. The one who has never left my side. You saved me. You know how when you're little you have all these dreams for how you think your life is going to turn out? Well, in my wildest dreams, I never knew it was possible to be this happy. I love you so much"

Jay felt Erin bring her hand up to his arm and to his cheek and he gave her a soft smile before she pulled him down to her and kissed him.

Please Review.

I'm adding an author's note because something has been brought to my attention repeatedly in the comments and instead of there being a difference of opinion in the reviews, I'll address it here.

If you want the next chapter to be the epiloge of this story, that's fine. I, in no way, am some master writer. This story is something special to me and through it I have met some people I really care about.

If reading has become a bore, that's not something I have intended. I've really tried hard with this story, but I can see why some of you may want it to end.

I just wanted to have an outlet to write my version of Linstead and am thankful for all of you who have read and continue to read.

I write this for you guys, and I've tried to work in suggestions I've been given. But if it's not what you want anymore, I completely understand. Or if you want it to keep going I could go on forever.

Sorry for rambling.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter.
