Dario did not have a problem with the media uploading their photos, infact it gave him a little comfort that their relationship was out to the world world to see. What he was angry at was the media defining their relationship when the two hadn't even defined it. Anyone who saw the posts and read the comments would conclude that they were dating. But were they?

The thought of them dating was thrilling but he didn't dare have high hopes. He wouldn't want to get badly hurt; you know what they say, the ones with their hopes high fell badly.

The fact that the media defined that rubbed him the wrong way, so he had decided the next time he saw her, he was going to ask her to be his. And here we are.

Laura looked at the nervous Dario, still straddling him, their breaths mixing in the silent room, she broke the silence.

"No..." It was a hurried reply possibly with an explanation immediately after it, but the pained expression on his face got her confused and she stopped. She first saw shock in those dark eyes then pain. The intensity of those eyes had dimmed.

Dario recovered quickly. He needed not to get discouraged by a single rejection. He had once said Andersons never gave up and he was not going to be the first. So quickly, he faked an amused expression, eyebrows raised at her in a possible challenge, "No?"

Laura quickly shook her head, attempting to give explanation but was interrupted by his touch on her lips. "These..." he started referring to her lips while parting them, "they have started spouting nonsense, hazel." Eyes now locked on her lips, he lowered his lips to hers, his teeth grazing on her swollen lower lips which he had bitten earlier, earning a pained moan from her. "..should we perhaps do something about them before they become more stubborn?" He finished, now looking back at her. He looked a little bit menacing but with no intentions to scare her. Just to show his dominance.

Laura broke away from her daze, a little bit frustrated. In as much as she liked being dominated by him, he was over-stretching it. Since he came in, he didn't even let her tell him why she ignored his calls and right now, he was not allowing her to speak. He always turned everything sexual. She knows she is weak amidst his hot touches and rough kisses and she's sure Dario knows that as well. She's not pleased that Dario uses that against her every time.

"What's with you always not giving me a chance to talk." She asked, voice laced with complaint.

Dario gave her his innocent look, that look that Asher hated the most and seemingly Laura too was on the path of hating it.

She snickered, narrowing her eyes at him, voice low and threatening, "Don't play innocent. You know what i mean."

Dario chuckled enjoying her little tantrums.

"I really don't know hazel. I've been so good to you, always allowing you to be in control." That earned him a glare from Laura and he raised his hands in surrender.

"Let's make a deal, you promise that you'll never interrupt me with kisses..."

"But you love them." When she glared at him again, he threw his head back, laughing at her pouty face.

"I'm done with you Anderson."

They were quiet for sometimes, Laura's face on the crook of his neck, his hands rubbing her back softly. "Why no?" Dario asked again, this time serious. Still in that position, Laura finally gave her now delayed explanations.

"I didn't mean it like that. I just believe that what we have right now is too good to be defined by some cliche teenage labels."

Dario's palms that were rubbing at her back stopped, moving to her face, forcing the pretty head off his neck. He wanted her to see how happy he was, how that one sentence made him happy, how she made him happy.

She saw that wide grin on his face and she couldn't feel much better than she was feeling right then. His happiness was infectious and without knowing it, she was also grinning at him. She realized that with Dario, she was herself, her emotions weren't in control. She smiled alot, laughed alot, chuckled alot, snickered alot, glared alot and she didn't hate it. Not even a little bit. She loved who she was with him.

"I like who i am with you." She realized she had said that out loud when she saw the shock on his face, definitely not expecting that from her. The shock was replaced by a wide grin Laura was sure his cheeks were hurting.

"But i don't like who i am with you, hazel." He said playfully, definitely teasing her and Laura who was in a good mood played along.

"And why is that, Anderson."

"Because i turn to this sexually frustrated hormonal teenager, always aroused but can't have you."

He laughed at the woman whose face flushed red, eyes wide and looking anywhere but him. Laura made a mental note never to humor Dario and his teasing. It never ends well.

After calming down, he realized that Laura had given him a vague answer, she didn't like the idea of their relationship being reduced to boyfriend-girlfriend label. But still he wanted assurance, that they had something going on between them, that she was his.

"You said girlfriend sounded cliche. What about woman? Would you be my woman, hazel?"

That didn't sound bad to her. She also wanted an assurance, a label, something she could use against anyone else who wanted to claim him.

"Only if you agree to be my man."

He loved the sound of it. The idea of Laura calling him hers, claiming him.

"Yes hazel, i am your man, only yours." He said making a mental note to talk with May as soon as possible.

The two stayed in for quit sometime until Nora reminded Laura of her meeting with directors in the next fifteen minutes, and Dario took that as his cue to leave.

Laura was in the elevator, with Dario, walking him out. She didn't want them to start gossiping while guessing what they were doing together for almost an hour. If they were to gossip, then she decided she was going to give them something to gossip about. Material facts and not just rumors.

"You deleted the post." Another confirmation. Dario noticed that most of her questions to him came mostly as a confirmation.

"What gave it away?" Dario asked quite amused. She seemed sure it was him when anyone else could do it. Even Alex.

"Only you and Alex could order that. Alex like keeping things legal...if it were him he would probably threaten the media to take it down. But it was illegal, you know even the saved copies on my phone were deleted meaning there was some hacking done..."

"So you figured it was me." He helped her finish definitely admiring her logic and reasoning. His woman was cool and he was probably going to kiss her when they had a ping sound.

"...and you saved a copy?" now a teasing tone. Laura looked away, embarrassed.

"...if i knew i could have asked Asher not to delete yours." She didn't look back at him...she didn't want to see that smug look on his face.

When they reached the ground floor, Dario thought Laura was going to go back up but was wrong when he saw her leading the way to the exit.

She halted a bit, waiting for him to catch up with her, before continuing. There were a number of eyes on them but she didn't seem to care. She didn't seem to care even when she held his hands, looking at him like an obsessed fool and kissing him infront of his subjects. It was a small kiss, but it still meant alot to him.

Laura had decided to give them what to talk about. She was the captain of her ship. Making everyone believe only what she wanted. And it seemed she wanted them to believe the two were together.

~~~
Laura got into the conference room, the directors were already there, waiting for her.
The theme of the meeting was still Lay Off. There were people who had already voluntarily handed in their resignation letters that morning. The next thing was the LIFO policy. She had promised to help however she could, to help the interested get jobs. With this, she was going out of her way. She was being nice.
She began addressing them after the room went quiet.
"Except the filming department, the company is going to terminate the recently employed employees off their duties. Those who can adjust to the remaining posts would be given the opportunity. The meeting is held to hear the opinions of those with opposing views. Does anyone have any objection to that?"
When there were no hands, she turned to Nora,
"Issue out a month notice to everyone about this. At the end of the month, the company will be doing that."
With that the meeting ended. It didn't even take 5 minutes. You couldn't blame her, could you? Not when she was suffocating being in a room full of scheming people.
