Chapter 19 Country that knows no boundaries

The capital city of Crown is the most developed in the world. Countless mechanical engineers and magic engineers were living here in harmony under the premise of innovation. Especially, the headmaster of the university of Soran was the wisest living man in the world. Moreover, the vice headmistress was one of the oldest living being in the world. She was one of the high elves that had a huge mana pool in their body and she was blessed by the nature.

" Wrong, idiot. You have to put the core here and insulate it with the tempered mana steel before it makes contact with other objects and becomes an unstable bomb!"

Zera scolded the old man with a grim look on her face. She couldn't believe this old man was the one who could rival in science fields, showing unimaginable talent.

The old man didn't sit idly as he plugged his ears with plugs. He lifted the core with his hands and placed it directly in the canister which was big enough to tower his body. He went down the ladder and looked at her with a smug face to show his achievement.

" Old hag, do you think you can rival my mechanical engineering skills? You are just a scholar who doesn't know about practical fields."

Shane said while giving her a middle finger in the face. Although he was old, he was very energetic for a typical old man. His mind was bright as the sun in the sky.

Zera's veins bulged when she saw his finger. She grabbed his finger and twisted with sheer force.

Kacha*

The sound of broken breaking could be heard in the laboratory as Shane rolled on the ground with pain. He pointed his finger at her with fury.

" You have gone crazy, you witch. Do you think I can't fire you from the university? My students would be able to replace in a few years."

Shane swore as he panted with anger. From his youth, he was constantly bullied by this woman who acted like a kind woman outside. He knew she was the most malevolent person in the laboratory.

Zera clicked her tongue and used her magic to heal his finger. She loosened her tied hair while taking off her coat. She got on his body as she raised her hand.

" You haven't learned your lesson yet, old boy. I will personally teach you today."

She slapped his face with the strength of an ox. Shane's face instantly bulged from the impact, but he took out something from his pocket and shoved it into her chest.

Bang*

Mana bomb was directly set off on the impact. Zera rolled on the ground with embarrassment on her face as she saw grinning Shane with his tools in his hand.

" Now you have done it, bastard. Even your wife can't save you today."

Zera shouted, activating her augmented mana bow. She instantly drew the energy line, aiming at his head with a cold look.

Sigh*

A young man with glasses entered the laboratory. He was holding a book that was marked with various papers and engravings.

" Both of you, stop now. I am embarrassed to admit you two are the most intelligent people on the planet. Look at your states."

He said, expressing his exhaustion and depression. Due to the constant explosion in the lab, he had to work until his ass fell off, but looking at the current situation, he knew he had to make another plea again to the council by presenting something useful.

The duo groaned with displeasure as they grabbed the cleaning tools that were laying on the floor. They understood what would happen if they make mistakes again because Thomas was staring daggers at them. His cold eyes and glasses coupled with his emotionless voice made them shiver since he was getting a promotion soon. He would be the next headmaster after Shane retires to his home.

" Andersen will be coming here soon. You know his health is weak. I can't allow any more harm befall him."

Thomas spoke while vacuuming the floor with a mana vacuum cleaner. As the head professor, he was proficient in any tools, including cleaning tools.

" Gotcha."

Zera said loudly while moping the floor with anger.
