Briar stepped forward and placed a palm on Tristan and Sidus’s cheeks. 


“I, Alpha Briar Bane of the First Moon Clan, pledge my loyalty to Alpha Sidus and Alpha Tristan of the Second and Third Moon Clans, respectively,” Briar announced. 


He moved his hand to their heads and then reached to the table, retrieving a silver chalice. 


“What’s in that one?” I asked as Briar sipped from the chalice and handed it to Sidus. 


“White wine,” Victor said, nodding slowly. 


The Alpha’s took turns, always two kneeling and one standing, repeating the same pledge to each other.
