New Boyfriend.

"May I come in?" asked Allan, after Chloe opened the door to her apartment.

Chloe nodded and let Allan inside.

"You are okay?" Allan asked. He sat on a chair near the bed.

"What?"

"I've noticed you're not in a good mood these past few days. Does this have anything to do with David when we were at the bar that time?"

"I don't want to talk about it again Allan, let alone hear you say his name," Chloe said.

"You seem very angry with David. Is it because that night you saw him with another woman?" said Allan. Even though Chloe had said not to talk about it, Allan's curiosity as a boy who liked him was strong. He wanted to know if David had a place in Chloe's heart or not.

"What? Of course not! I couldn't possibly have feelings for a playboy like David. I was drunk, so I rambled on unimportant things."

Allan smiled, causing Chloe to frown in confusion.

"Why smile? Is there something funny?"

"No, I'm just happy," admitted Allan, "Hm, how about me? Do you have feelings for me?"

"What?"

"Actually I've liked you for a long time and was planning to ask you out after we went to college, but I haven't found the right time to say it yet," admits Allan.

"And…" Chloe waited for Allan to continue.

Allan scratched the back of his ear that didn't itch. "So I want to check again, are you really not related to David?" he asked bluntly.

"We're just friends, nothing more," Chloe answered quickly.

Allan smiled widely. "So you're interested in going out with me?" he asked again. Chloe nodded slightly. "Tomorrow morning, in front of the apartment. I'll be waiting for you for our first date," said Allan hastily leaving Chloe's room.

As soon as Allan left, Chloe immediately closed the door to her room and leaned against the door with a blush on her face.

"Chloe, you really are amazing!" she shouted happily.

They left in Quil's car. Allan took Chloe to City Hall which was quite far from his apartment. They arrived at City Hall around noon.

As Chloe got out of the car, Allan opened the door, took Chloe's hand, and led her into the main door. Allan asked for the observation deck at the checkpoint, then went to the ground floor and one officer checked Allan's ID. The elevator to the 28th floor was waiting for the two of them. It took two more levels of walking through the stairs until they reached their destination.

Finished with City Hall, Allan invited Chloe to have a quick lunch at The Flying Saucer restaurant near City Hall.

In the late afternoon, Allan and Chloe went to Loose Park. The park is often used as a wedding venue because of the place and beautiful scenery. Allan led Chloe through the gate, into a straight path that ended in a circle. There is a circular pond in the center with a small fountain.

"Are you having fun today?" Allan's hand was still faithfully holding Chloe's hand while walking around the garden.

"It's so exciting," Chloe said excitedly.

"Would you like to sit down?" Allan offered her a seat on a long bench made of wood.

The two of them sat side by side. For a moment, the two of them were silent for a while before Chloe finally started to speak.

"Hey, I didn't know you secretly liked me," Chloe said, starting the conversation. She saw Allan smile stiffly and it made her happy. "Why didn't I notice it at all?"

"You're too ignorant about your surroundings, you know that?"

Chloe laughed out loud. "Is that true?"

"I barely know what to do because every time I want to approach you, I always fail because of your friends,"

"Is that why you started approaching my friends so you can freely approach me?"

"Well, apart from that they're good friends too." Allan took Chloe's hand and held it. The girl was a little surprised by his actions. "And I hope, in the future, nothing will interfere with our relationship, and David is no exception," he said frankly.

"Are you jealous of David?" Chloe smirked.

"Yeah, I'm annoyed that he keeps following you around like a guard dog," Allan was quite amazed at being able to say such a thing in front of Chloe.

Chloe couldn't hold back her laughter when she heard the word 'watchdog' from Allan's mouth.

"Well, that's a pretty fitting nickname for David," Chloe chuckled.

"I'm glad it made you laugh,"

Chloe gave Allan a quick peck on the lips. "Thanks for today's date, Allan. I like it very much."

"That time, I saw you had a big fight with Chloe," Henry said as he put the glass of vodka in David's direction.

"Yeah, she's mad at me. I'm just trying to protect her from the bad stuff, even though I'm the bad thing," David said, downing his glass of vodka.

"Sometimes, people have a hard time accepting some of the things that someone did to them. It took time to realize that, and Chloe was one of those girls who liked freedom. I think you need to give her some time to come to terms with this," said Henry, "remember, before you were just a friend of her brother's and suddenly you turned into a boy who liked her. For women, it takes them by surprise."

"So?"

"Stop pushing it too far. Understand Her and give her time to think. It didn't take long for Chloe to realize her feelings for you."

David chuckled. "You think it's as if Chloe is indecisive about her feelings,"

"Well, don't forget, David. I'm Henry," he said confidently. For a man who has a lot of love experience, Henry is quite good at guessing a person's heart.

"Thanks for today, Allan," Chloe said.

They stood facing each other, holding hands, and smiling at each other.

"Anything for you, Chloe." Allan kissed the back of Chloe's hand to the embarrassment of the girl. "Well, I'm not going to see my girlfriend around David again, am I?"

"I do not think so. I quite appreciate your jealousy of David," Chloe smirked.

"Good! I love you, Chloe," Allan said. He bent down and kissed her lips briefly.

Chloe returned the kiss to Allan. Her arms wrapped around Allan's neck. Finds her seductive curls and squeezes them as their kiss deepens.

Chloe pushed herself closer to Allan's arms. Allowing Allan to kiss her deeper until she didn't notice a pair of blue eyes watching the two of them.
