Lost Contact.

Before Chloe realized how ridiculous she was for looking in the mirror for so long. Her fingers kept touching her own lips. She smiled shyly and her face turned red. She never would have thought that falling in love would feel so crazy.

It feels like you are at the highest peak in a tower among thousands of sparkling stars, with a panoramic view of the beauty of the sky that is very beautiful with the most special person.

Chloe couldn't help but feel happy after what happened to her last night. About how the gentle figure of Allan stated that he really loved Chloe. Her consciousness just vanished, when Allan kissed her gently. Take her into the apartment and hold hands. They exchanged glances and wished each other good night.

"I think I've really gone crazy.," Chloe whispered to herself. Her lips formed an embarrassed smile as her red face was clearly visible in the mirror.

"Yes. You are, Chloe," Anne spoke from the direction of the main room. Glancing at Chloe who was in the mirror in front of the sink glass without moving from there.

"Come on, this is my first time falling in love." Chloe turned around. Her hands supported her body on the sink. She looked at Anne who was leaning against the door frame.

"Yes. Too many men you turn down because you think they don't deserve to be with you," commented Anne. Her arms crossed over Her chest.

Chloe rolled her eyes lazily. "They are wolves in sheep's clothing. I have to be careful in choosing a lover."

"And Allan is the right person," continued Anne.

"I think so." Chloe's lips formed a smile. Her stomach seemed to be filled with blooming flowers.

"Then what about David Black?" Anne deliberately added a Black frill when mentioning David's name. Hope her friend realizes that David really loves Chloe.

"We don't have any relationship. And now I have Allan." She said proudly. Her feet stepped past Anne and took one of the shoes she had. Switch to sit on the edge of the bed to put on her shoes.

"Right. There's already Allan. So…" Anne fell silent. Remaining leaning against the side of the door and turning her body to see Chloe's activity. "Can I approach David? I think I liked him from the first time I saw him."

Chloe's body stiffened. Whether Anne realized it or not, Chloe's hands that had been busy fixing her shoelaces now stopped. Her vacant eyes stared at the floor of her apartment. She spoke without turning to Anne. "Just do it. After all, David is just a friend of my brother."

The corners of Anne's lips formed a small smile. She moved from her place. "So I can do whatever I want to get close to David?" She sat down next to Chloe. Looking at Chloe who was still busy with her shoes without turning to look at her.

"Yes. Do whatever you like." Done with the shoes. Chloe looked at Anne with a reproachful face. "At least you have to be mentally prepared for a broken heart." She stood up and headed for the cupboard. Take a leather jacket and put it on. "I know David. He's not the type of guy to be serious with just one woman." She continued later.

"I don't care. Although only a temporary girl who stopped David's heart. At least, I was and was in his life." Anne smiled widely. She found Chloe's face sour.

"Whatever. At least I warned you." Chloe turned her head to Anne. "Don't blame me if you whine from a broken heart."

Chloe was standing right in front of her bedroom window. Staring at the row of cars lining the parking lot. There's really nothing special about it all. However, there was something different about the scenery there. The one car—white color—that had been there all the time was now out of sight. Even the owner no longer touched the apartment where Chloe lived. No more fighting, no more swearing, or even screams coming out of Chloe's mouth. The atmosphere is always calm. And it made Chloe feel longing.

David Black. The man had not contacted her since their quarrel a few days ago. No texting or visits. David seemed to just disappear.

Could it be that David's words at that time were serious? So what's with all that?

As if there was a regret that Chloe felt when she didn't see the man again. Could it be that she missed the times she'd fought with David?

Chloe got up on her bed. Take the cell phone in the bag. Picking it up, Chloe dialed David's number and put the phone to her ear.

Oh, shit! Message box.

"David, it's me. Ehm... Is everything okay? I mean, look, you've been out of sight for the past few days. Are you still mad at me? Okay, I'm sorry for my behavior a while ago. Can you call me back when you receive this message of mine?"

Chloe put her phone back on her lap. Looking at the phone screen for a long time. She plopped down on the bed. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes.

Her body woke up again. She stares at her phone in disgust. She dialed David's number again. She growled in annoyance when a woman's voice told him to leave the message box.

"Answer my call, you idiot!" She shouted in annoyance. She slammed his cell phone. Dropped herself back on the bed.

"You guys are late," Quil said as Chloe and Allan sat down in their chairs.

"Sorry, I have to collect assignments in the teacher's room. Have you ordered food yet?" Chloe asked.

"Already. We've also ordered food for the two of you. Is it okay?" she asked.

"Yeah, that's better," said Chloe.

"I didn't think you two were in a relationship," Quil said, looking at Chloe and Allan in turn. Quil had to be honest if Allan was really cool enough to get Chloe's heart so fast.

Allan was a little offended by Quil's words. He had told her many things about his feelings for Chloe in the last few years. In the end, he was able to win Chloe's heart. A special luck considering Chloe's character who is not so welcome with every man who tries to approach her.

"Has this made you all believe?" Allan grabbed Chloe's hand and lifted her up in the air to show her friends.

Chloe turned around with a surprised face, then turned bright red as her friends cheered her on.

For God's sake, this isn't Chloe's style at all.

"Wow! You're getting bold. Look, Chloe's face is red." Quil laughed happily when he saw the blush on Chloe's cheeks. He never thought that a Chloe could blush.

"So you and David are over?" she asked.

"David and I have nothing to do, Anne," Chloe argued. She glanced at Allan to see her reaction when she heard David's name called.

"Is that true?"

"Yes, of course! We didn't even contact each other. Our relationship is only friends. And our closeness recently was only because of a request from my brother to always take care of me while he was away. That's it, nothing more," admitted Chloe. She tried to explain, either to Anne or to Allan.

"Oh, so you didn't know David was sick?" Anne continued.

"David sick?" Chloe looked directly at Anne with a surprised face. She thought too much about David's situation that she didn't notice the look of hatred in Allan's eyes.

"Yes, he got sick."

"Are you sure?"

"For the size of my ears that have good hearing, that's the news I heard from him."

Chloe squeezed her hand. "Oh, I hope he gets well soon," she said in a low voice.

"Yes, recovered from his illness," rebuked Anne.
