Chapter 6: The Pit.

With my best vision, I could see the lovely daylight approaching. T hough for some reason. I experienced a void. Almost certainly, I was missing something. My throat feels as though it would be parched if I were left in a desert, so I open my mouth to yawn but nothing comes out. I lean back and raise myself off the ground. I pushed myself off the ground. I take a quick look around, but I don't see her. She escaped my notice. "Annie? Where are you? I shouted.

Eden, who was snoozing next to me, was just just waking up. Her eyes soon started to open as she yawned. I spoke up while hanging onto her shoulders with both of my hands and a voice filled with terror. "Eden, where is Annie?" Then she was asking "What do you mean, Charles?" There was no sign of Annie. I struggled to my feet and sprinted towards the staircase. I climbed the stairs and started to explore. Yet nothing was present.

I can feel the tears forming at the edge of my eyes, I got to my knees and grabbed my head. I need to look around again. I need to make sure. I force myself to stand and survey the space. Zero. There was nothing visible to me. On the first floor, where Eden was, I went straight back to her. I announced, "I'm leaving." As I rushed toward the door, something caught my attention. One of the windows has lost its barricade. I moved in the direction of the window. And I investigated it. There was blood. This window slashed someone or something. It was sharp.

Sharp enough to cut a kid. I rushed back to the door and pushed the barricade away. I looked outside. I went outside the window to look for any clues about my sister. Soon after Eden came out to help. "A trail of blood" she pointed. I saw it too. A trail of blood almost like it's leading somewhere. I followed the blood of my sister. It led us across the street under some kind of bridge. Then the blood ended here.

Someone from behind us said, "Hands up in the air and don't make any abrupt moves." They continued to get closer to us, which we heard. I placed my hands up and neither Eden nor I resisted. We were compelled to follow them while our hands were restrained. Following our crossing of the bridge, we continued walking for almost an hour. We arrived. A hiding place it was. Probably a refuge for bandits similar to them. 'But why would they bring us here?' I questioned myself. "Open the gates!" yelled one of the thieves.

We were able to pass through the gates after only a brief period of time of them being pryed open. As soon as we entered, they immediately began to aim at us. but chose not to fire. They were several individuals carrying guns and working as slaves in this area of the harvest. It appeared to be a king's chair in front of us. It had a person sitting inside of it. The king commanded, "Take the shackles off." Our shackles were ripped off by the bandits. However, he then yelled out for assistance. And that finished putting the puzzle together. "Come here, Eden, my bride." said the king.

He had the appearance of an elderly man attending a Halloween party. with a large chair and something that looks like a painted crown. In all honesty, it was the strangest time of my life, yet once more I had been duped. I caught sight of her smile. Eden's grin caught my attention as she approached the king. She gestured for a slave to go grab some food as she sat in his lap. The King gave me an exuberant gaze. He directed one of the bandits to "bring The cage was unlocked by the thieves as they turned to face it. After that, they went inside to find someone. Annie was inside the box. She was carried out by them.

Bloodstained all over the place. When I looked at her, it appeared as though both of her legs were broken. Her hands were also severely hurt. My, my darling sister was in front of me. She fell to the ground once they released their hold on her. She appeared to be unresponsive at the time. "Considering that you are a pilgrim, you must be aware of the aliens that exist." The monarch then inquired, "Have you seen all types of them, though? " After this, one of the robbers raised a revolver to my face. The moment the youngster yelled, "In the hole, he goes," they snatched me from behind and tossed me down what nearly seemed like a cliff. Even at this same moment, my eyes began to glaze over as I observed the stunning sky.

Everyone yelled, "Fight!" In this hole, there were several individuals. Most likely slaves. Their clothing was completely destroyed. They appeared to be waiting for an assault while they were in a combat stance. The countdown then started. I took a glance at the others that were present. They too began to weep. Eyes filled with tears. those who are observing us. began tossing in firearms. Bats, knives, and swords. In order to fetch a sword in time, I rushed as quickly as I could. I managed to catch a hold of one beautiful sword. The countdown then began. Ten seconds remain. Everyone started yelling. A bloodbath has occurred. almost like watching a live death show in a movie theater. How could they? The countdown came to an end.

I turned to face the massive gates that were being forced open in front of me. The gates were gradually opening. They were finally finished. Demons. hurried outdoors and began to assault those who were moving. These aliens were different from one another. They appeared to be thin. Additionally, they had a very distinctive head. When I took a quick glimpse at one of them, it charged toward me. I was able to get past him and hack off the creature's head with a swipe of my sword. It appears. The swords and other weapons do their jobs well. Or so I figured. Single-handedly, one of the slaves was cut in half. I observed as I cast my gaze about.

Three aliens remained, and that was it. I rushed them in order to murder them personally. I charged one of the aliens, almost killing a slave in the process. As I approached, the alien raised his left claw in anticipation. He succeeded in leaving scars on my skull. However, as soon as his claw cleared the way, I swung my blade at his shoulder and dispatched it. I stared at the demon in his lifeless eyes as he collapsed on his legs. I sliced the beast in two by swinging my sword at its head. Yells could be heard. I observed two slaves had successfully taken down one of the beasts when I turned to gaze to my right. However, they were unaware that someone was coming their way.

I yelled out to them, "Watch out." However, it was too late. The human's head was successfully struck off of his body by the beast. I was unable to move once again. Everything was covered with blood. Due to the previous strike, I was unable to see out of one eye. My eye was lost on the previous hit. I was slowly bleeding to death. I have to complete this. I forced myself to travel in that direction in order to confront the beast. I was approached by the creature, who swung. I chopped the beast off with a swift sword stroke after dodging it. The monster's body was split in half by me. My right arm had lost all sensation.

Following all that swiveling. I spun around to see the thieves opening the gate and entering. I charged the bandit since it was now or never, and with a powerful blow, I just almost severed his neck. He slowly started to bleed out. Blood was pouring like a river from the bandit's neck when I turned to face him. The king screamed, "You shouldn't have done that lad." I cast my eyes over the screaming figure in front of me. He seized my sister's frail neck with his right hand, then slashed her throat with a knife. My sister had to be seen suffocating in her own blood. I cried out and shouted.

I flung the blade with a swinging motion, but it missed its target. I then turned to face the king. He already released the lifeless corpse of my sister and hurled it into the hole. As soon as I saw her frail body land, I ran to help. I ran over to my sister's corpse. I failed to get there. My legs stopped moving and would no longer support me while jogging. I wriggled. I was unable to give up. To get to my sister, I clawed with my fists and teeth. When I finally got there, I saw her lovely face covered in blood.

The sight of my sister's lifeless body made it impossible for me to stop sobbing and screaming. Her soul was no longer visible in her stunning eyes. She was no longer alive. I took one final look at her sad eyes. Due to excessive blood loss, I passed out.

I gently opened my eyes and noticed that the sunshine was touching my face and hair. I tried to feel my eye but was unable. My right ocular. Was gone. In its stead, all that was left was an eyepatch.
