New Journey

It was sunny as it could get in June, a little too sunny that there were even rumours of people dying of heat strokes. So, when Josh regained consciousness, he was sweating profusely.

“You sure we didn’t take the wrong route and end up in hell?” Josh asked as he wiped his forehead with his sleeve. Rainbow chuckled.

The two were in front of the K. Annan memorial hospital where Josh was hospitalized in 1986. The difference 30 years made was big and Josh did not recognize his last home at first sight.

“Where are we?” He asked Rainbow.

“This is the hospital you were in 30 years ago. None of the original buildings stayed, so it is no wonder you do not recognize it.” Rainbow answered.

“So, did they demolish the whole hospital and rebuild it? Was there a point where there was no hospital but a construction site?” Josh was still shocked by the drastic change.
