Host of the Blood Demon

Kelvin clearly remembered the day the picture was taken. It was a while back, during a picture day in his former school; in the picture he didn’t have the demonic scar, because back then, he wasn’t possessed by the blood arch demon.

Seeing his picture on the screen, caused Kelvin’s heart beat to increase rapidly. A trickle of sweat could be seen on his fore head, as the feeling of anxiety, slowly crept up in him.

“Crap, they already have my picture. What other personal information do they have about me?” Kelvin thought, as he looked at everyone around him, with a disturbed look.

Carl, who was seated next to Kelvin, noticed the anxious look of his friend, and whispered to him:

“Hey dude, calm down; no one suspects a thing. Just act natural.”

Hearing Carl’s words, Kelvin took a deep breath, in other to calm himself.

The principal turned and pointed at the picture of the pale man, with the skull and wing tattoo.

“This is the arch demon of gluttony; one of the seven most powerful demons in existence. He goes by the name Guldra and as you all know, he escaped from his tomb a few months ago. After gaining his freedom, Guldra created a group that call themselves the fallen angels.”

“This group comprises of powerful demons, and their main mission is to awaken the god of demons.”

“The picture of a skeleton skull with wings, that you see tattooed on his chest, is a symbol used in identifying a member of the fallen angels. So be on the lookout.”

The principal then pointed at the picture of Kelvin.

“We got information about this young man, from our Chesterfield branch. His name is Kelvin Peterson, and apparently, he is the host of the blood arch demon. From the information that we received, he was responsible for the death of a number of people, including his parents and some of our demon hunters.”

“Kelvin is currently on the run and his whereabouts are unknown. We are currently in search of him, but we have reasons to believe, that he has already joined forces with the fallen angels.”

The principal took a quick pause and continued.

“During your stay in the academy, you all will go through a series of training, in other to prepare you, both physically and mentally, on the concepts of using divine powers.”

“I would advise you all to take these trainings seriously, because in the near future, you might find yourself face to face with one of these potential threats.”

“Welcome once again students. This is all that I have to say, so please have a nice day.” The principal said, ending her speech.

After ending her speech, the principal left the auditorium hall with two demon hunters escorting her.

The student council president was the next to come up to the podium.

“Hello freshmen. My name is Luke Ferris, and I’m the president of the student council. We, the members of the student council, will be responsible for anything that has to do with student matters.”

“We will identify and help you all solve any problem you will encounter in the academy. We will also be representing the student body, in special events and meetings.”

“I assure you all that the student council will help to promote the interest of students among the academic administration, and the school staff. So I ensure you all that you’re in good hands. I really do hope you enjoy your stay in the academy.” The student council president concluded.

“Do you have anything to say to the first year students?” The head teacher asked Aira, the student council vice president.

Aira thought for a while before walking up to the podium.

The vice president was nothing short of a beauty. She had a white angelic hair, and clear blue sparkling eyes. She was also beautifully adorned with a bright and vibrant skin tone.

“The principal and the president, has said all that has to be said; but I would like to add one more thing.”

“The student council will also act like the law enforcers of this academy. There are a number of rules and regulations that guild the students of this academy and those rules are to be adhered to.”

“A copy of the student handbook will be given to you all in the beginning of classes. Finally, I would advise you all to take your trainings seriously. The principal has stated the crisis at hand and it’s our duty as demon hunters to advert those crises.”

The vice president ended her short speech and returned back to the stage. The head teacher then came up to the podium to conclude the entire welcome speech.

“That concludes the welcome speech. One last thing; in terms of money, your parents and legal guardians will be sending a specific amount of money to you all, at the ending of each month.”

“Students can’t purchase any item on the island using actual money. So as a result, your money will be converted to points, which you can gain access to using this digital watch.”

The head teacher pulled out a black watch with a screen and some buttons by the side. The auditorium staffs were currently sharing the digital watch to the first year students.

“By default, the academy has given each and every one of you a total of 100 points. So please use them wisely.”

“You have the rest of the day to yourselves, so use that as a chance to take a personal tour of the academy.”

“Normal classes and training sessions will begin the next day. That is all, have a good day.”

The speech was finally over, and the first year student left the auditorium building.

“Am I the only one that finds it weird that students aren’t allowed to use real money on this island?” Kelvin asked once they left the hall.

“No, it seems really suspicious to me. Anyway, dude did you see the vice president? She’s like super beautiful. I think I’m in love.” Carl replied.

“I’m definitely going to ask her out.”

“Please don’t bro; you don’t stand a chance. Didn’t you see the way the other guys were staring at her?” Ray asked.

“Don’t compare me to the other guys. My love for her is genuine; and one day, I’m going to marry her.” Carl retorted.

“Woah Carl, you have to slow down; one step at a time. Anyway, what are you guys going to do today?” Kelvin asked.

“I’m going to go to the cinema. I haven’t watched a movie in ages.” Carl replied.

“What about you?”

“Hmm, I saw a museum when we were driving through the city, so I think I’ll check it out.” Kelvin answered.

“Dude, we get a free day and you want to spend yours in the museum?”

“Suit yourself. What about you Ray? Do you want to come with me to the movies?” Carl asked.

“Sorry bro. I lost all my arrows during the exam, so I’m going to the weapon shop to buy some more.” Ray replied.

“Cool, so has anyone seen Nathan? I lost sight of him when we were leaving the hall.”

Both Kelvin and Ray shook their heads in disapproval.

“Maybe he has gone off to the gym or something. Anyway, I’ll see you guys later.” Carl said, as he left.

“Well, Ken I’m off. Have fun at the museum.” Ray said, as he too left the scene.
