Kelvin proceeded to his own destination. He crossed the school gates, and hailed a cab.
“Hello sir; I would like to go to the museum.” Kelvin said, to the cab driver.
“Sure, hop in.” The cab driver replied.
Kelvin got in the cab, and was on his way to the museum. He turned on his digital watch, which he was currently wearing.
The screen came to life, and on its display, was the 100 points allocated to him. The watch didn’t really have any special features, except a transfer and credit system for the points.
The cab driver took a couple of turns, as he navigated his way through the city. It still felt surreal seeing the massive city on the island, which was hidden away from the outside world.
‘I wonder how long the people have been living here. Don’t they have families outside the island?’ Kelvin thought.
After making a few more turns, the cab finally came to a stop in front of the museum.
Kelvin got down and asked:
“How much do I have to pay for the ride sir?”
“That would be 5 points.” The cab driver replied, as he brought out a card.
“Here; send the points to the code on the card.” The cab driver said, giving Kelvin the card.
Kelvin switched on the watch, and clicked on the transfer icon on the screen. He selected 5 points, and then typed in the digits on the card, as the recipient. Kelvin sent the points, and almost instantly the cab driver got a notification on his phone, confirming the successful transaction.
“Thank you for the ride sir.” Kelvin said, returning the card.
The cab driver took the card, and drove out of the museum.
“Okay, let’s see if I can find any info related to my special case.” Kelvin said, walking towards the museum.
Written on the large gate of the museum was its name: “The Historical Museum of the First Demon Hunters.” Kelvin passed through the museum gates, and just like the academy, there were 5 large statues of the first demon hunters.
The museum was an architectural marvel. From its large pillars to its arch curved ceilings, one could tell that a lot of work was put into the museum, making it a stunning infrastructure.
Kelvin passed through the museum’s massive double doors, thus, entering the museum. The museum had 4 sections and exhibit of historical times and events. There was the art section, the artifact section, a section called: “The Records of the First Demon Hunters”, and finally the demons exhibit.
Only two exhibits picked up Kelvin’s interest; they were the demons exhibit, and the records of the first demon hunters. After a few minutes of deliberation, Kelvin decided to visit the demons exhibit first.
The demons exhibit contained paintings and illustrations of different demons. Unsurprising, there was also a record of Asmodeus and the arch demons. The records contained paintings of the terror and destructions caused by the arch demons, before the first demon hunters finally defeated them.
Apart from the paintings, there was also a human sized statue of a demon hunter, slaying a demon.
Kelvin was currently looking at the paintings of the arch demons, and also reading the description below them. He didn’t really pay a lot of attention to the paintings of the other arch demons. So he went to the painting of the arch demon of blood.
The painting was old and slightly obscured, but Kelvin was still able to make out some major details, which included the image of a cackling demon, standing on a mountain of dead bodies.
The description below it read: “The arch demon of blood; a cruel demon known for its excessive blood lust and vile murderous intent. A demon that laughs and take pleasure in the sorrow and despair of others.”
‘Funny enough, I’m currently the host of this vile demon.’ Kelvin thought.
There wasn’t really any important information in the demons exhibit; just a retelling of the evil act of demons throughout the years. So Kelvin decided to check out the next exhibit, which was the “Records of the First Demon Hunters.”
In this exhibit was a smaller version of the 5 demon hunter statues from outside the museum. The statues were positioned in the center of the exhibit. This exhibit was the main attraction of the museum, as everyone wanted to know the history of the brave men that saved the world. The exhibit was the largest in the museum. It contained various paintings and artifact replicas, which belonged to, or had some sort of connection with the first demon hunters.
“Woah, this exhibit must be really popular among the city folks.” Kelvin said looking at the sheer number of people in the exhibit, which was relatively large, compared to the demons exhibit.
The records of the first demon hunter’s exhibit had a separate hall, which was used to record the life achievement of the greatest demon hunters that ever lived. Kelvin was currently walking through the hall, studying the paintings and illustrations hanging on the wall.
Some of the most impressive achievements were done by the first demon hunters and the Calvary squad, which Kelvin had heard about during the welcome speech.
‘Hmm, the student council vice president is a member of this Calvary squad.’ Kelvin thought as he read their achievements.
“Woah, this Calvary squad guys are really cool.” Kelvin said.
There was also a quick description of the Calvary squad which stated:
“The Calvary squad is an elite demon hunting squad, which comprises of highly skilled and talented warriors. This squad was first formed by the first demon hunters, to aid in battle during the demonic dark ages and ever since its creation, the Calvary squad has been responsible for saving countless lives, from demonic attacks.”
“That’s impressive; and to think that the student council vice president is an actual member of this Calvary squad. But she seems too young though.” Kelvin thought, after reading the description.
“Well, this squad will be the death of me, if I don’t get rid of this stupid demon.”
After a few more minutes of fruitless researching, Kelvin gave up on the museum. He exited the museum’s double doors, and compound and once again, he was standing on the busy street of the city.
