In an effort to fight back and stand their ground against their supernatural and non-human attackers, humanity developed a method of creating super soldiers that, in exchange for their emotions, gained immense power. Known as Husks due to their lack of emotion, they have now become reviled in the very same communities they fought so hard to protect.
