Bloodstained Lips

"I've seen a lot of twin peaches but yours...yours...are...are beautiful." He remarked the speechless woman who immediately ran away from his custody to the walk-in closet.

Her heart was giving a loud thud in her chest. She became uncomfortable. This man just saw her half-naked. What was she going to do? Confront him?

Ariel waited in the bathroom, sitting on the marble floor hugging herself, waiting for the mess to clear off from her head.

Thinking about Graciela's book of seduction made goosebumps appear on her skin. This was harder than she had expected. The book of seduction was currently in her custody, on the nightstand.

She got dressed and left the walk-in closet only to find her husband sitting on her bed with the book of seduction in his hand.

Ariel freaked out in horror, she grabbed the book from him hurriedly, glaring at him.

"What are you still doing in my room?" Ariel asked with a frown sitting on her face.

The side of his lips curved up with a smile as he stood up examining her full body.

"You want to seduce me, Ariel?" King Vladimir leaned forward smiling mysteriously at her.

The latter heartbeat accelerated, she was dumbstruck and didn't know what to say after being caught red-handed.

He noticed she wasn't saying anything and continued to tease her. "What's the matter princess, cat got your tongue?"

Trying to prove him wrong, she forced herself to speak but her mouth didn't listen to her and her lips weren't moving. Was he trying to mess with her now?

"In the aspect of seduction... you'll have to please me first." She heard him say.

They've been married for months now and they've never gotten intimate with each other. As husband and wife, they were supposed to do the adult thing. Who would blame them when they were both forced to get married to each other?

A loveless relationship!

"I wasn't going to seduce you?" Ariel denied singlehandedly

"So...you wanted to seduce another man? You would be beheaded if caught in that aspect." He leaned closer to her as he pinned her on the wall making the book fall from her hand.

He could feel her heartbeat racing but she couldn't feel his.

Heartless!

"I wasn't trying to seduce another man either," Ariel said turning away from his gaze.

The more he leaned closer the more she became restless. There was no distance between them.

He place his lips on her earlobe, Ariel felt like her brain was shutting down, and his breath crashed with her skin making her feel uneasy.

"You need to show me the stuff you're made of them." He whispered closely in her ears.

Show him the stuff she was made of...she was made of dust...so...

Ariel shut her eyes tight and the next thing she felt was watery lips colliding with hers.

This man was too much.

Ariel cried within her, her legs were shaking from beneath, hands already sweaty from nervousness.

Warmth blossomed in Ariel's chest, sparks igniting as King Vladimir leaned in close, lips brushing together, tentatively, for the first time. The smell of her perfume, of the soft, peachy scent of her conditioner, was dizzying, butterflies dancing in her stomach. But warmth consumed her as she leaned into the kiss, her husband's lips impossibly soft against her own.

His tongue pressed between her parted lips in ticklish kitten licks.

Ariel was lost in her world of astonishment. She didn't know how she ended up responding to his kisses. This was her first kiss and she prayed within her that he wouldn't ruin it. His lips were warm and soft. They parted slightly, allowing her tongue to slip inside.

He withdrew from the kiss, as they both needed some oxygen. A smile of satisfaction played on his lips as he noticed the blood stain on her lips.

This was trouble for him...

Ariel on the other hand was still thinking about how the kiss went not realizing that her lips were bleeding. She was panting like someone who ran a hundred-meter race.

He nudged his nose against hers, and their mouths fell sleepily together, already soft and open. When Ariel's eyes closed, her eyelids stuck. She wanted to open them. She wanted to get a better look at Vladimir's too-dark eyebrows, she wanted to admire his crazy, vampire hairline—she had a feeling this was never going to happen again and that it might even ruin what was left of her life, so she wanted to open her eyes and bear some witness.

But she was so tired. And his mouth was so soft. And nobody had ever kissed Ariel like this before. Only her childhood crush; Prince Richard had kissed her before, and that was like getting pushed squarely on the mouth and pushing back.

King Vladimir's kisses were all taken. Like he was drawing something out of her with soft little jabs of his chin. She brought her fingers up to his hair, and she couldn't open her eyes.

He was so good with the kisses that she was out of moves. Her body was corresponding to the passionate scenario. Ariel wished this wouldn't stop but the man was doing things to his advantage unknowingly to her.

Her wishes didn't come true as he hurriedly withdrew from the kiss with blood-stained lips.

He turned his back against her, muttering certain words to himself. Ariel was stunned, she froze as she couldn't process what had just happened. It was too fast for her to process.

Did she do anything wrong?

Was her breath bad?

Different thoughts ran through her head but she didn't have time to adjust. She touched her lips to see if it was stained with blood but it wasn't.

From where he was standing, she could see blood dripping from his lips to the floor. She walked slowly to him, placing her hand on his back but his roar startled her.

"Don't you dare! Unless you want to die..."
