Jack's eyes teared up as he narrowly evaded a terrifying crescent slash that nearly cleaved his fine head in two symmetrical halves. He still wanted to cry, but had no tears.

Attacks were unleashed, the target evaded without much effort, and the game of cat chasing mouse began! The movements of the two contestants seemed to be in a loop, without a single unique movement or technique besides:

The other players, Rylex, Fay and Robert included, ran after the two crazily all around the forest without pausing to rest or wait. They were all hyped up at the witness of another major fight, and to this, they ran like criminal supervillains on drugs.

Jack frowned in tears and pain, even with as much torture he was going through now, his petty and disgraceful energy was about to run out on him. He was terrified now as every movement he make uses not less than 2 points of his energy!

Being locked in a situation where he has to evade all the time isn't good for him in the slightest.

Argh, the usefulness of RnC in this situation has depleted dramatically… So, I must resort to fighting back shamelessly in order to survive.

"Eat my blade, Jack!" Felicia finally made a deadly curved slash with an over 65.7% accuracy that struck Jack directly on the chest, tearing through his ordinary clothing and leaving a terrifying gash on his fair and tender looking chest.

"Gah!" Jack spat out blood as he backed away in pain and shock, his face attaining a furious expression as his aura underwent a qualitative transformation. All the fatigue and pain he felt earlier seemed to have been dispelled in a instant!

Jack's heart was beating out of his chest as he stared intently as the screen appearing before his face in shock and confusion. He couldn't make heads or tails of this situation and was left simply stumped!

"Error Code? Overload? Strange factors? Was this some kind of hidden bug related to his ability to rise from the dead? Was this his trump card?" Jack couldn't help, but grin at his wild thoughts as a sharp glint flashed past his eyes.

He seemed able to bore through the transparent screens with the light shooting out of his eyes. Even if he didn't have an overly powerful and flashy one-hit KO skill, his ability to cheat death in-game was definitely the work of a supernatural force patting him on the back.

Limitless Resurrection! He would no longer fear the lengthy waiting period before player character self revivals, he could resurrect anytime he wants! This was immortality redefined!

"Hehehe… imagine saying these words out loud in front of all these players, wouldn't that label me as a chunni instantly?" Jack wondered in a low voice as he lifted his head slowly to glare sharply at the culprit that forced him into the discovery of his skill in-game.

Unlike Rylex, she didn't do it to help him nor does she have anything but I'll intent towards him at the moment. Infact, in his eyes, she is already dead!

"Hmm, you're still standing? Your base stats must be pretty nice aren't they?" Felicia was genuinely shocked after seeing the wounds inflicted on Jack heal within a matter of seconds and her jaw loosened slightly. Her shock only lasted for a minute before dispersion without leaving a trace.

"Since you're still standing, that only leaves you ready to eat more of my rampaging sword strikes!"

Felicia didn't speak any more as she dashed forward with all her might, wanting to finish Jack in one hit and get everything over and done with once and for all! She was in no way willing to let him off easily.

Jack grinned as he stood up straight, ignoring his clothes which had been ruined as he spent nothing on them. Of course, he was getting serious now, but that doesn't mean he'd forget his principles as a man.

He was going to beat his female adversary in the shortest and most direct way possible without damaging his ego or image. In this situation, all he needed was…

Jack didn't move until Felicia's sword was only inches away from him, his eyes gleaming with a strange light as his body loosened. He had not a fear in the world, even in the face of death.

He was fearless! Maybe he shouldn't get carried away at this moment and get KOed for a second time, that would be completely embarrassing and he wouldn't be able to save his face no matter what he did.

Jack's eyes flashed as he suddenly moved at the last ten seconds with a victorious smirk on his face, he moved at the speed of light and blatantly grabbed the sword.

Felicia was stunned stupid at Jack's impudent and strangely dumb actions, she was left unable to speak a word for a very long time. She didn't understand something, how in heaven could he grab her blade in such a manner?

Was this some kind of in-game bug or cheat? What the fucking hell was going on right now?

"Surprised? Now, you die for me!" With these cool words, out protagonist literally pulled at the sword and dragged Felicia towards him, knocking her off balance before she could react in the slightest.

There was a time to joke—

"Y–you bastard! You're cheating!" Felicia roared in a crazed frenzy and she formed a claw with her free left hand and clawed at Jack's face with a ruthless gleam in her eyes. She seemed ready to peel off his face no matter what he did!

Jack didn't waste time, the moment Felicia got in rage, he tilted his head to dodge her berserk last minute strike, then, used the opportunity to knee her in the guts effectively. His single move was sharp, neat and restricted, but it was enough to knock all the air out of Felicia's lungs.

Jack swept over the series of words with his eyes without paying too much attention, before suddenly closing all the tabs and glaring down upon the pitiful Felicia wheezing, coughing and cursing whilst struggling to stand back up.

His eyes were glowing in a strange light as he fell into deep thoughts with a frown on his face, his expression had turned crazed with lust as he kept staring at the badly beaten up Felicia.

'If I kill her? Wouldn't I get more rewards like her base skills and even her abilities? Isn't that another easy way to cheat the system limitations on every newbie character?'

Jack took a step forward, thought for a while before letting out a sigh as the crazy light in his eyes faded. He wasn't psychotic or some villain wannabe, he was a smart and calculative player who weighed the profits and losses before making a decision.

It was natural habit he cultivated, and it has been completely intercorporated into his daily activities, manner of socialization and communication. He didn't just want something, he wanted to know the benefits and demerits of what he wants.

Although they are some times when he acts on impulse due to inability to control his own emotions, that habit still remained within him. Growing and cultivating alongside him.
