HP: The Legendary Arithmancer

Re-write of my first work, HP: The Enlightened One. MC will be focusing on using modern mathematics to become powerful. Expect him to use Runes extensively. MC will be charismatic, a bit dark and somewhat egotistical. No griffins, No ROB, No harem. Thanks, Hope you enjoy my story.

Excellently written yet somehow manages to be rather boring? It feels like little happens, it also feels like the MC has no personality and like the theme of the book is not expanded upon. He is a genius mathematician using math to research magic? Okay, then show us HOW and WHAT he is doing instead of just “mc studied today” or “mc read a book today”. Also, we are told of his intelligence and his potential for power but he simply feels dull, lazy, and boring. Supposedly, the MC is really pushing to understand magic and be powerful but I cannot see any evidence of that nor of the mc taking some unique approach of using math in his magic. Instead we get some frolicking in the daiseys fluff story with Fleur, who has about as little personality as the MC btw, that i frankly could care less about. This is a decent hairy potter fanfic, but compared to the synopsis, title, and description of the MC all I can say is this is false advertising.

This is a master piece! The MC is both smart and powerful, I just hope that his mother won't die. So far I just can't get enough of this wonderful story, please update more!

Amazing story, with mc bieng a mathematical genius, it has a lot of room for development.

I'm really enjoying the story so far. The world-building is pretty nice and the plot is moving forward at a steady pace. I'm also impressed with what you're doing with the main character. A comparatively OP OC is very rarely done right so good on you for what you've done so far.

Never ever think of dropping this novel. Or I’ll find you, kidnap you and make you complete this masterpiece 😌

Theres not a lot of good hp fanfics. People just write like the books are everything and doesnt change much, change too much, or simply doesnt know how to write. I think this one is simply marvelous and an ingenius novel. I hope author continues the series and dont give up. Truely enjoyed it THANKS!!!

Stellar work. The fanfic will suck you in, and you won't be able to stop. The MC is smart but human so he doesn't feel omniscient. The characters are so far well designed, we haven't seen all the four OC's backgrounds yet so that could change, but so far so good. I'm taking one star from World Background because some alterations were done to the HP universe without being explicitly expressed or explained so the reader just has to assume that it's one of the AU's particularities. Otherwise great work. TL,DR: Read it, you won't regret it, I promise.
