THE GAME

"Can you imagine a boy of yesterday! He has pulled out souls out of the fire and has shutdown our churches with his revival movements." Bishop Timothy aired with bitterness and anger pounding on his face.

An LV plasma television is shown in the sitting room of a gigantic mansion at the outskirt of the hillside town of Millionaire Island.

It was a massive edifice with all the luxuries of life emboldened in its terrains.

An enormous figure of a man sat in front of the plasma wearing spectacles and chilling with a glass of juice as his eyes glanced through the polished magazine that contained his political manifestos for the upcoming senatorial election.

Envisioned within it was the well carved lies and schemes of how he was going to defeat his political opponents.

Outside the gate, a car drove to a halt awaiting for it to open.

It was a transparent glass bulletproof gate. The gateman could see through and identify who it was.

He smiled broadly and rushed to open up the gate. His action ushered in an enormous Pathfinder black Jeep with plate number capturing the title; "His Lord Bishop Timothy the great"

Two more cars followed in and escorts trooped out of them to attend to Bishop Timothy the great, who came out and without wasting a dime time motioned straight to the entrance of the edifice that stood at the centre of three others.

"Chief, Bishop Timothy is here to see you." Sanator Moses Iorwuese's personal assistant approached him.

"Please usher him in quickly!" he ordered and Bishop Timothy, an average age man was ushered into the chamber.

"My Lord Bishop Timothy."

"My senator! my humble senator! I greet you." The two exchanged greetings.

"Your visit must be an accompaniment of good news." Senator Moses said

"Rightly my senator. Don't forget that we scheduled to meet today and discuss the progress of things."

"You are right my Lord Bishop Timothy the great. This meeting is a high profile one for me which is why I forfeit every other bidding to ensure it holds. Senator Moses responded.

A bottle of wine was brought in and the two cheered the meeting, and went into discussion.

"That idiot is being gradually felt with and reduced speedily." Bishop Timothy said

"I had believed in this scheme but I never knew it could be this Powerful and effective." Senator Moses came in.

"My senator, this is the best plan we could come up with to deal with Apostle David. That young boy has given us and thousands of my colleagues sleepless nights. We tried all methods both tactical and diabolic but he defiled all of them until we visited the Occult grandmaster, who informed us that the only way to pull down a man who is rightly standing with God is to cause him to sin against His God."

On September 9th, Concern had grown massively among the members of the Occult and they decided to go to the Occult grandmaster.

In the meeting that night at 2am, they had summoned the spirit of Apostle David but he did not turn up. This was strange to the Occult grandmaster and by experience, this must be a strong believer, he said.

He then used his mirror to see properly who he was dealing with and immediately Apostle David's spirit appeared in the mirror, it broke into pieces, throwing everyone to the ground.

"My children, I would have advised that we let this young boy be in peace, but since it concerns almost everyone of this brotherhood, I would advice that a scheme be ordained to pull him down from his source" The occult grandmaster concluded

It was after this meeting that Bishop Timothy and Senator Moses came up with the idea of using women to devour his concencration.

They also tried using money but he was too sensitive to be trapped.

It took months upon months for this to work out. During this time, Apostle David had escaped multiple sexual advances on him by ladies both from his ministry and outside its.

When they saw that this could not work, it was planned that his betrothed be used against him. There could be no better or other option but Apostle David's only about to me; Betty Benjamin.

A committee was then ordained to ensure that Betty was ready and willing to fall into the game and become one of the players.

During this period, Senator Moses who himself is a member and a top ranking elder in Apostle David's ministry became so interested in Betty's relationship with David and was most often caring and financially supportive.

This was carefully done and patience applied in order to get Betty's attention until in the recent times when she agreed to play to their tune.

"Betty, we know you love David. All we want is for you to become pregnant for David and we will finance your life. Money won't be your problem as you will have more than you ever wanted if only you will comply to our demands." Bishop Timothy who was unknown to Betty spoke softly in the first time she would be invited in their midst.

"What is the aim of I becoming pregnant?" Betty questioned confused.

"Apostle David is a high profile man of God and one whose consecration is questioned and termed as impotency. We want to be sure he is not what many of us thinks and you yourself, we want to ensure you are fertile enough to warrant the wife the elders of the ministry can approve." Senator Moses said

This pose a challenge to Betty and she gave in.

The first night Betty would engage David was the season she had agreed to be part of the game players but was warned to keep it a top secret.

Until her intimacy with David, she had been a virgin. When the code was broken, she couldn't let go anymore as her appetite aroused and set her soul on fire.

Along the line when she saw the damage she was causing to most especially David, she wanted to pull out but at this juncture she was already been surrounded by three legions of darkness; the addiction for sexual intimacy, the love for money and the threats from the company of Bishop Timothy and Senator Moses among others.

Becoming pregnant for David won't be a challenge since this would hastened their marriage.

She had thought that marriage would put an end to whatever the game players were aiming at.

If David was to know this costly game that was been played with his destiny, he would have fainted but all these were happening behind his back and he had no single iota of it.

Lucifer on the other side was the game master playing with the hands of his children; Bishop Timothy and Senator Moses among a host of other political figures and preachers whose lives David's walk with God and stand for righteousness and revival was tormenting.

Could it be that God was using the situation also to humble David's demon of pride and arrogance which fame had brought him?

There was so much for David to know and it was obvious he was still in the dark.

If only he was aware of some of the questions, he would have tried answering them

"Can't you see that we are politically struggling in this country since Apostle David stepped foot into ministry? He has taken all the youths who are now wise to listen to us. We no longer see thugs this days for our campaigns. Do you think my rival would have still been standing today if I have the means to silent him? I have tried raising terror agents who would ruin the efforts of the present administration but to no avail, because everyone now speak and live revival. Senator Moses expressed his bitterness.

"We are serving him his cup already. Much is happening since we launched this scheme and it is been effective more than we had assumed." Bishop Timothy encouraged

The two men had time for themselves discussing other issue bothering on David.

There was much evil in the bag than it could contain. With time, it will spill out and wonders would flee in amazement.
