What if I sucked Kaiser's blood?

I didn't expect to spend so much time preparing myself, even though I was only going to suck someone's blood. To make myself feel better at the moment, I can only blame my half-insect body because there are many parts of my body that I can't reach.

"Yup, it can't be because of that man..."

When my body came out from the cave entrance, the warm sunlight immediately bathed me, and all those perplexing thoughts vanished for a moment. Right now, I'm just enjoying the warmth that has just engulfed me, and my wings are trembling with delight as every drop of water still attached to me evaporates.

Without waiting long, I flapped my wings with all my might as my body rose into the air, the grass and trees swaying as if to see me off, and my mood also changed for the better because of it.

"Now, where am I going?"

To be honest, I didn't think Kaiser would let me wander around looking for food so easily. After all his torture and oppression, his sudden generosity made me wary. The trauma even stopped me from fleeing, or perhaps I already knew it would be futile.

"But look at me now, really pathetic..." I'm not sure when it happened, but I began to wish that he would keep me locked up, that he would continue to pay attention to me, to take care of me... just me.

Along with those contradictory thoughts, my body carelessly collided with a wisp of white cloud. Inside, I was grateful for the gentle chill because it allowed me to stop thinking about those stupid things. I wasn't worried when my body emerged from the clouds because I was already thinking about my next destination.

After flying over several cities, I was pleasantly surprised by the stamina that my body lacked previously. Kaiser had once told me that I could become stronger by sucking the blood of creatures stronger than myself, and so far, the strongest creature I've ever sucked the blood of was a monster known as the Deep Sea King.

"I wasn't expecting such an effect... what if I sucked Kaiser's blood?... ahhh! Wait, what was I thinking?"

I finally arrived at my destination, city Z, while trying to hide my embarrassing blush. My gaze was drawn immediately to the forest, where I could sense the concentration of so much heat. The closer I flew, the more powerful the auras became, so I became extremely cautious.

I couldn't possibly allow myself to be caught so easily here after all of his warnings and prohibitions, especially since opportunities like this are extremely rare. I'm excited to see how much blood I can suck with this many professional heroes.

I overheard Kaiser discussing this with someone on the phone a few days ago, and he mentioned that the Heroes Association would be holding a big event in City Z. Given the size of the crowd, it was obvious that this was the event he was referring to.

"I know that he's here too, so I'll try not to bother him... of course I'm doing it for my sake."

I then flew past the crowd, my presence being so far above the clouds that they didn't notice me until I finally flew into the forest to a deeper area where I was quite familiar.

Meanwhile, the House of Evolution, a secret organization with headquarters in the depths of the forest in Z City, clearly knows the movements of professional heroes. Although they are still keeping quiet, Dr. Genus has devised a terrifying plan.

He intends to entice the professional heroes deeper into the forest before dispatching his combatants to eliminate them one by one. Dr. Genus grew to despise humans who claimed to be professional heroes after his error in ordering some of his strongest combatants to look for Mosquito Girl, which resulted in their deaths.

But...

"What are they doing here? Are they looking for us?"

"That speculation is most likely true considering they have been hunting us for a long time."

"I saw many A class heroes among them, this could be said to be the biggest problem we have ever faced after the escape of our specimen."

"Ah, do you mean Mosquito Girl or Zombieman who is now a S class professional hero?"

Many people had gathered in a large, dark room, and they couldn't stop expressing what was on their minds, bringing various emotions to fill every corner. They appear to be scientists at the House of Evolution based on their similar lab attire.

Soon after, a door opened automatically, revealing Dr. Genus, whose solemn expression heightened the tension in the room. Even though he is said to be a scientist, his black suit, complete with black tie and black shoes, qualifies him to be called the CEO of this evil organization.

He said nothing and simply walked in front of everyone before coming to a halt in front of a large monitor screen that suddenly lit up behind him. Everyone was taken aback by the amount of new information that had been gathered in such a short period of time as they realized how serious their current situation was.

"Impossible! Why is Silver Fang here?"

"It's over, if he is combined with all of Class A who participated, we won't be able to win."

"Wait, do we still have him? We might still be able to win if we take him out."

"However, how do we beat Class S rank 3!? If we have to choose, now is the time!"

Despite the commotion in front of him, Dr. Genus was able to keep his head straight and adjust his slightly wobbly glasses. However, he couldn't let everyone make a hasty decision, so he firmly grabbed everyone's attention by saying:

"We still have a chance, as long as it's not zero we will definitely be fine, now what we have to do is take the right steps and minimize mistakes."

His efforts were rewarded when everyone's heads rose at the same time as excitement began to burn. The light from the large monitor screen illuminates each of their faces, and who would have thought they had the same face as Dr. Genus? Everything about them is the same, and it actually gives anyone who sees them a creepy feeling.
