Luthiel asked as he walked to pick up the book.
He dusted it off and glanced at the back to see the name "Thamameire" written on it.
"Is this... what we are looking for?" He asked, and Damian strolled up to him.
He glanced at the book and quickly snatched it from Luthiel.
"Yes! This is it!" He confirmed.
Luthiel glanced at the book and watched as Damian unlocked and opened it.
Different writings and hand-drawn photos of creatures came into view.
"So... do you know exactly on what page you will find the Lamora, or are you going to look through each page?"
He inquired, seeing Damian read through each page.
"Oh no! It's been quite a while since I last saw this book, so I just want to look at it." Damian chuckled softly and flipped through the pages of the book.
It took him a few seconds to find what he was looking for, and he dropped the book on the table.
"This is the Lamora." He pointed to the photo in the book, and Luthiel glanced at the drawing with furrowed brows.
It was a black snake-like creature, but with two heads and one fang on each.
Their eyes were golden in color, and their bodies had green-colored veins.
"It says that to kill a Lamora, you must slash its head off with a cursed sword. If you go from the tail, nothing will happen, but if you go from the head, the creature will experience burns and death." Damian read it out.
"What?" A darkened expression immediately appeared on Luthiel's face. "Where are we going to find a cursed sword?" He asked, and Damian slammed the book shut.
"I am not sure." He pondered and suddenly recalled something, he snapped his finger. "Remember the accursed twins?" He inquired, and Luthiel tilted his head to one side.
"You mean those two?" He replied, and Damian nodded his head at him.
"Yes. They wield cursed weapons, including the cursed sword we will need." He clarified and Luthiel's brows scrunched together in confusion.
"But they are no longer here. The girl is dead, and her brother is nowhere to be found, so how... do we get the sword?"
He questioned, and Damian, who couldn't believe that he didn't know, grimaced.
"Are you serious? You really have no brain at all." He shook his head and began to look around the storage room.
"I'm sure their weapons were disposed of after what happened, so if there is anywhere we can find it, it is in here."
He elucidated, and now realizing this, Luthiel furiously blinked his eyes.
He walked up to the boxes on the floor and began to look through them, trying to find the sword.
After another twenty minutes, the sword was still yet to be found.
"This is very frustrating," Luthiel complained, and Damian turned to look at him.
"I know it is, but let's search a bit more unless you want her to go into an everlasting coma." He shrugged.
Having no other choice, Luthiel continued to look for the sword, and after about three to four minutes, Damian's voice resounded from behind the huge glass shelf he was standing in front of.
"Found it!" He announced, and Luthiel quickly rushed over to see the cursed weapons tossed into a huge vertical iron box.
"This is a fourth-grade cursed sword." Damian tested the sharpness of the sword and smiled in satisfaction.
"This will do." He stood up on his feet and handed the sword to Luthiel.
"You can go do your thing now." He said to him,
Luthiel nodded and hurried out of the storeroom.
Damian followed after him, and he locked the door.
They made sure that no one was around and hurried back upstairs.
Luthiel returned the key to William and went back to his chamber.
He glanced at Yennefer and sighed deeply.
"Is she okay?" He asked, and Damian nodded.
"Mhm, she is."
"Take care of her." He said so and turned around.
He strolled out of his chamber and walked downstairs, deciding to look behind the walls of the castle building.
But who exactly could have done this?
He abruptly began to wonder.
Could it be one of those people who despises Yennefer for her crimes?
But that's impossible. There is no way they would dare hurt her, knowing she is staying in the castle under the emperor's command.
He shook his head, finding the thought absurd.
But if it's not them, who is it then?
He thought and let out a soft breath.
Right now he is confused, as he is not sure if it would be a good idea to tell the emperor or not.
He's not sure who did this, and if it ever turns out that whoever did this is important to the emperor, then he won't get to punish him or her.
He already decided to punish whoever did that to Yennefer, but if he tells the emperor about Yennefer's current condition, he would be risking it.
A deep breath exited his mouth, and he quickly turned his head when the alarm bell began to sound, indicating that a prisoner or so must have escaped.
"Impossible!" He exclaimed and quickly rushed off towards the royal cell.
