Meteor Fall Master in the 'Starry Abyss'

i dont know if webnovels content is getting better or something but this novel is awesome

Why some chapters cost 7/8 coins and others 13/15 coins. It doesn’t make sense

I went into this story thinking it would be a Legendary Mechanic copy to stave my reading boredom but how wrong could I have been. The story starts seemingly similar in concept and story development to the aforementioned book above, but soon diverges into a story that I can confidently say is unique. I will say for this book you do have to read it when reading it, and by that I mean turn on your brain, or else you might find yourself confused on some sections of the story. Now into how it's unique, well for one just the crazy story that is being constantly uncovered as the chapters go by, I'll give a hint "society". Knowledge in the story that both you the reader and the MC take for granted is constantly overturned or added to in ways that feel like adding the link for dots that never seemed to connect, but actually do very organically. I won't lie and say the story doesn't have its confusing moments, and it can be a pain with not having every chapter to be waiting to figure out what is going on. Despite that I feel just in terms of enjoyment and freshness that this story deserves to be given a good chance to read. I will note that I probably gave barely anything away about the story with this review, but I feel anything I saw can probably be better said by the story's summery and beginning chapters. (I feel also that even if I gave some spoilers they would just cause more confusion without the context)

Very complex worldbuilding with an interesting power system and power scaling. There is some unexplained concepts/references to higher powers that the story hasn't reached to show that there is still much for the reader to learn. The characters feel realistic and have depth to them, including our main character. There is some gore and some unpleasant aspects, but the main character maintains hope and keeps moving forward. There are many similarities with the Legendary Mechanic regarding the video game aspects, but with more of an eldritch feel to it. If you liked Legendary Mechanic, you'll probably enjoy this.
