Aella squinted her eyes due to the impact of light. Long curtains hang from top to bottom, she woke up and leaned on the headboard. Every inch of her body ached even the tips of her fingers maybe even her nails too.
She pulled the blanket closer to her as the cold air engulfed her. The door opened and a lady entered carrying something in a bowl.
"You're awake?" she gasped and she nodded in reply.
Why was it a wonder?
"Why do you seem surprised?" her voice came out hoarse.
"You've been asleep for two days" Aella's eyes widened.
"Two days?" her voice came out in small cracks.
"Stop straining your voice milady ,take this soup" she obeyed and did so.
"Who brought me here?" she asked after taking a sip of the too good soup.
"I think it's Master Klaus , he told us to take good care of you then he dissapeared" her heart clenched a little. He saved her from an almost death situation.
"Okay"
" If you need anything, just ring the small bell" the maid assured and walked out. She stared into space for a while, rethinking the actions of a few days ago.
She was betrayed by her own family, even her father. It hurts more since ,she could expect the betrayal from her step-family but not her biological father.
She needed to take a bath as soon as possible, she couldn't stay this filthy and dirty in such an amazing house. She could still feel the filthy touches of the angry mob that night. Ringing the bell ,the maid walked back in.
"What's your name ?" she asked pushing her legs off the bed.
" Ava milady" she replied politely.
"Call me Aella please and I need to take a bath" Ava looked a little bit surprised but rushed to her side to help her.
"Wait let me fix the bath, I'll be back in a few" Ava rushed out and left Aella in her thoughts again. Standing up, her feet trembled in pain but she struggled and reached the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror.
Her usual pale skin was dented with red marks , definitely from the grabbing and slapping. Her face looked horrible, an imprint of the slap of that day was still there and it stinged a little. Her body in general was an ugly mess.
Ava was back and she filled the tab with hot water ,but not too hot ,averagely hot.
"Let me help Mil- Aella" helping her she dipped her body in and she couldn't hold back the wince that came with sting of the hot water with her sore muscles and wounds.
"Is it too hot?" Ava's worried voice asked urgently.
"It's ok Ava, relax" settling in she relaxed and calmed in the sweet feeling of peace and relaxation after a week of being tied to a metal bed.
"If you don't mind me asking Aella, what happened to you , you were in pretty bad shape when you came" Ava asked.
"Worse than this?"
Ava nodded.
" I was betrayed by family and they left me to die while an angry mob of Cunningham people attacked our place claiming we were Witches, they found me and almost killed me" that was just a brief outline and it made her heart swell with unshed tears.
Ava's apologetic look skimmed over her " I'm really sorry about that"
"It's in the past now, there's nothing I can do about it" Ava stilled immediately as if she was shocked. "What's wrong Ava?"
"It's nothing" she dismissed it but Aella could see there was something she wanted to say.
"Please tell me" Aella urged.
"There is something you can do about it, you can't just let them betray you and you do nothing about it" Ava's outburst shocked her.
"W-what!?"
" Litsen Aella , what they tried to do to you is not right , then they left you to die, do something about it " Ava complained again.
" What do you suggest I do Ava, I have no idea where they went to"
" You could figure it out later but first you need to find out what you are" Aella simply stared at Ava. She couldn't help but think that Ava knew more than she looked to have.

It was evening and Aella's thought were stuck at one place , what Ava implied was Revenge. Was she ready to start dealing with that pain but it was worth it.
She could've died if it weren't for Klaus. But first she would do as Ava advised. Find out who she was and what she could do.
